Horrible owner who at one point just started yelling at a group of people who were standing still a bit further away. We were shocked. Once and never again. That these kind of punks think they can claim the neighborhood, yuck.

A very nice woman runs the café, and the staff is friendly. The food was excellent, and the view of the canal and the houses was simply perfect.

Had a birthday drink there with family, excellent service and good snacks.

The café is definitely worth a visit. The people are very friendly, and the food, including the salads, is delicious! Add to that the peaceful surroundings, as well as the occasional opening of the bridge across the street. I really enjoyed it here.

The waiters are the nicest people I met here and the food is really good. If you want a break from the fast life of Amsterdam when you arrive here, it's the best place to go.

Delicious omelet and tuna sandwich

The unpleasant woman who served us, presumably the owner. Not particularly customer-oriented. "Homemade" is a particular highlight here, and the bill is fair. For example, small scones cost €4.50.

A cosy cafe to restore your faith in humanity. Super friendly, great atmosphere and simple but delicious, freshly cooked breakfasts and lunches, and a perfect coffee. Five minutes from the Grote Markt and with the bonus of riverside views.

Had a delicious meal here after a visit to the museum. Both the humus sandwich and the spicy chicken are highly recommended.

It seemed like a nice vibrand location, however it was not my type of place. It was very crowded and quite cold inside, the music was too loud to have a conversation. The food was good, the drinks were good. This is a great place if you are 32 or younger. :-)

It was very tasty, but also came at a hefty price. The view was very nice and in sunny weather a breakfast like this can never taste bad ;)

Fantastic location in the shelter of the city center on the Spaarne, delicious fresh food and good coffee. Brilliant freshly baked cookie (a job done by the staff during the day) next to the espresso completes it completely.

Een pareltje langs het Spaarne in Haarlem. Van buiten weet je niet 1,2,3 wat je kan verwachten, maar je wordt toch naar binnen gelokt om eens te kijken. Dat was een schot in de roos. Hele leuke mensen die moeite deden om oplossingen te zoeken voor een allergie. Het eten was echt heel lekker en daardoor een aanrader. Wij hebben, omwille van het weer, binnen gezeten waar het heel gezellig oogt. Met een lekker zonnetje zal het terras ook een groot pluspunt zijn. Kortom, ga hier lekker langs!

bediening was goed, het eten was lekker. Maar hoe de eigenaresse met haar personeel omgaat en ze loopt af te blaffen wat hoorbaar is door de gehele ruimte doet de sfeer niet goed. Erg ongemakkelijk..

Wir sind erst eine halbe Stunde vor Ladenschluss reingekommen und wurden noch super nett empfangen. Der Essen war frisch und sehr lecker, der Service aufmerksam und freundlich.

Ga dat zien en proeven! Eerlijke hap voor een eerlijke prijs. Gelegen op een prachtige plek met bijna de hele dag zon. Super leuk en vriendelijk personeel. Vooral de tosti's proberen!

Ein nettes kleines Café, um beim Stadtbummel eine Pause einzulegen. Die Toasties und andere Snacks sind reichhaltig und lecker.

Apfelkuchen sehr lecker, Brownie war leider steinhart. Nette Bedienung, jedoch saß sie viel draußen und wir hatten uns drinnen etwas verloren gefühlt.

Na onze reis richting Haarlem voor een bezoek aan het Teylersmuseum, zijn we om te lunchen in deze zaak neergestreken. We kozen een broodje met lauwwarme geitenkaas met daarop honing, sla en noten. Het smaakte, evenals het glas wijn erbij, prima. Wat betreft het café: het is tamelijk klein maar wel redelijk gezellig ingericht. Alleen het tot op de draad versleten kleed onder de tafel bij de bar kan beter richting restafval. Het bedienend personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam, waarbij de uitbaatster wel heel luid en opvallend dominant de lakens uitdeelde.

Misschien waren we er op het verkeerde moment. Lunch werd geweigerd omdat het kennelijk te druk was en er was een stoelentekort. Maar wel waren er lege tafels zonder stoelen?

Gezellig en mooi restaurant! Ik vind de broodjes wat prijzig. Aardig personeel. Partner moest op allerlaatste moment een bestelling veranderen (ivm allergie). De bediende vond het niet leuk maar de bestelling werd zonder morren veranderd.
