It doesn't matter what you order, everything is equally delicious and prepared with love. Highly recommended.

I thought I was having a nice time with girlfriends and a drink, but the woman standing at the bar was very rude, made weird comments, and gave me and Mr. very strange looks. After one drink, my girlfriends left immediately because I didn't want to sit there any longer.

Only had drinks. Great atmosphere, nice place, friendly service and plenty of choice.

Good restaurant with an Italian style. The burgers are generous and the fries are good! We also had two open-faced sandwiches, one with burrata and the other with spicy chicken, which were also very good. The service is quite fast and the servers are friendly. No complaints, we recommend it!

The service was friendly and efficient. The sandwiches are fine to eat, but honestly, I didn't find them special. The minced meat sandwich was quite standard, and the tomato sauce tasted like it was ready-made. For the price, I expected more: a homemade flavor, better quality, and something truly special. It's a shame, because the place looks promising. 😊

Only had a few drinks in there but it is lovely. The place and the staff are both brilliant and very helpful. Cannot wait to getting back there.

We were supposed to have a nice evening, two friends going to a show together. And we wanted to grab a bite to eat beforehand. We thought we had bought a nice Social Deal. From the moment we entered, we informed the staff multiple times that we had to leave on time, around 7:30 PM, due to the show. We waited 1.5 hours for dinner. Meanwhile, other visitors who arrived after us had already left, with full stomachs! Just as we were about to leave, dinner arrived. No time left for it. We went into the show on an empty stomach. Very unfortunate. But! We were still allowed to redeem the vouchers at a later time. Due to circumstances, this was not possible until well over 3 months later. Imagine our surprise. It was supposedly too long ago, the offer was no longer valid. Even though no deadlines had been mentioned to us. Furthermore, lies were told: “We hadn't indicated that we had to leave on time, at least 4 times.” Also, a beer was simply added to our bill. All lies. We had a starter using the voucher. So we didn't have the dinner or the dessert! XO is now offsetting this against payment of the voucher. It's outrageous. And! The vouchers are still for sale. Why make such a fuss then? It's a real shame. Never again XO for us! What a disgrace this company is. But judging by the comments, we are not the only ones who had problems with the unsympathetic owner.

Table reserved. Upon arrival, we mentioned that we had to leave in an hour and a half (theater) and asked if that was possible. They said it was. We left after an hour and a half without a main course. We only received a starter. Never again.

Super trendy eatery in a prime location in Haarlem.

The burger was okay. The wait for the food was a bit too long for me. I had the impression that I was forgotten.

5 stars for the atmosphere! As one of the few clubs that looked rather uninviting, we decided to take a chance anyway to end our evening here with the group. Once in line, the atmosphere quickly turned towards 3 stars, as people were supposedly refused entry based on dirty clothes. Because of this, I cannot give you more than an average of 1 star. What could have been a fun evening ended in a bitter aftertaste. In hindsight, after reading reviews, I see that I am not the only one with this complaint about the unfriendly bouncer staff. The only positive thing is that I can now keep my money and it won't end up on your paycheck. Kind regards!

Slightly pricey but not out of range for the Netherlands. Great location right on Haarlem's central square. Come at 4 pm for happy hour when the entire town is at tables in the square, it seems like. Then stay for dinner. Great burgers.

We weren't allowed in because we didn't adhere to the 'dress code' during our bachelor party.

Good bar, great atmosphere! Food unknown. After midnight. 2 stars due to the security guards. One of our group walked outside for internet access to a taxi with a group of smokers and was not allowed back in with our party. These were doors that were open with multiple people going out, and only afterwards were they designated as 'not the exit'. These doors should either not be open! Or a warning/notification beforehand, or equal treatment for all. Security was unreasonable even after the crowds had subsided; unreasonable. Consequently, 4->2 stars due to the 0 for security. (We would have understood a warning or notification about doors being open unintentionally perfectly well.)

A very tidy and nice café, highly recommended.

We had a delicious meal! Italian stew with salmon on bread and toast, followed by a crispy chicken burger, and coffee and a treat to finish. Mint tea, cola, red wine, and a bottle of water were also included. Through a social deal for €32.50 per person, excluding a big tip for the friendly service. Another bonus: the music wasn't loud, so you could hear each other while eating. Highly recommended!

What should have been a fun evening for me ended very unpleasantly. Security threw me out without giving me a clear reason. The only response I got was: "We won't give you a reason, you're out." I cooperated fully and repeatedly mentioned my broken collarbone. Yet, this was ignored, and I felt they acted unnecessarily harshly. This is not a pleasant or safe way for me to treat visitors. Very disappointing. And thank you to security for allowing me to go back to the hospital for a checkup on my broken collarbone!

Italian meatball sandwich. Unfortunately, it was a bit bland and not quite warm enough. It was cold outside, so it was nice to have something warm for lunch. Friendly service. Unfortunately, they don't have sweet wine.

It was okay. The tomato soup was really delicious, but not quite warm enough. We found the service rather haughty and cold, and rather friendly towards the "older" guests sitting next to us, addressing them with "you/you." The first comment to the guests wasn't exactly friendly either, more like "tired" or "too much."

Came here to have a good time. It was my second time here, and the bouncer was extremely rude both times. I even got pulled out by the bouncer while I was just trying to pee. I explained it, but he didn't care because then he started counting to three as if I were a small child. It's just really bad. Forcefully throwing someone out for having a good time and acting normal is bad for the image of a nightclub, let alone a restaurant. There's absolutely no respect for the customer.

We went in to grab a quick beer in the lounge area by the front windows. The atmosphere was lovely, and we had plenty of time to look at the decor because the waitresses were busy talking and ignored us until we went over to beg for service. The server failed to list all the beers so we didn't know they had our favorite kind until we saw it taken to a different table.

Dirty floors, filthy restrooms, and sticky benches. Small portions: one slice of bread for €13. There was also a hair in my sandwich, which they didn't do anything about. The service was young and incompetent. This restaurant has gone downhill significantly. We won't be returning.

Stopped for coffee. Nearly walked out again because it took a long time before someone could be bothered to take our order. Inside is too noisy, even at 4pm on a Saturday Coffee was ok

I had a nice meal at XO twice last week. 1st time the straciatella di burrata and the 2nd time the beet salad and the burger. Everything was really great, good flavor combinations and the plates looked nice.

Eggs Bombieri eaten. Hollandaise was good and the eggs not over poached. Interesting choice with the Italian spicy salami.

Joined for dinner, was not aware the place turned into a disco. Decided to stay because the vibe was nice and drinks were flowing. But unfortunately the evening was RUINED because they tried to force us to check in our jackets, that were on our bodies. We left 6 minutes before midnight, my birthday!! Awful experience, we will never go back and we will make sure all of our friends know not to visit this establishment. What a crazy rule!!! The doors are wide open it’s freezing outside and subsequently freezing inside, but you’re not allowed to wear a light weight jacket. Men are allow to wear their jackets & hoodies. It’s a sick place!!

Yesterday my friend and I wanted to try the new menu, but we were extremely disappointed. The service was slow and the staff seemed rude and inattentive. The food was not up to expectations: the poached egg sandwich was soft and tasteless, and the schiacciata seemed frozen. Also, the prices were way too high for the quality. I will never go back and I don't recommend it to anyone.

I walked by last Friday and suddenly saw that XO has completely changed the menu. We sat in the sun and then the dishes arrived. We had the Burrata salad, schiacciata with straciatella and the sandwich with poached eggs and spicy salami. It was really great, the ingredients were good and the flavor combinations were right. I'll be back soon to try out the other dishes!

XO you are a super nice gift on my Saturday afternoon that still on my there I still wanted to be restoring list and that certainly did not disappoint after an afternoon of shopping ... Bad service. Empty cups and glasses from previous guests are not cleared away, even though there was very little to do and there was time to rearrange the chairs. The staff doesn't even know what's on the drinks menu. We should be a cyclist and he claims it doesn't exist. You would have to mix beer with Sprite. Only after we got the card did we notice that there were cyclists, which of course was 50% cheaper. They also forgot the food we ordered

Ate a delicious carpaccio sandwich. The service was fast and good.

Quite a nice cafe to stop by for a drink and some lunch. I particularly enjoyed the carpaccio bread and the cheese sticks, so if you stop by I would recommend you to trying those. The carpaccio bread has the perfect combination between truffle mayo, cheese, rucola and nuts. My only negative point of this place is that the fries are quite expensive considering the quantity that they give you. As for the service, the waitresses were nice and attentive and the atmosphere was cozy and modern.

Great cafe in a central location in Harlem

Always a good place for a snack or a Heineken. The carpaccio was really very good, and the pulled chicken was also tasty. However, the service could be a little more attentive. Overall recommended!

Op 18 December wat gedronken met vrienden rond een uur of half 5. Personeel was erg onvriendelijk. Keken niet naar ons om toen ons glas leeg was voor al een langere tijd niet eens de moeite nemen om te vragen of we nog wat wilde drinken. Ook hadden we de kaart gevraagd voor borrel hapjes, maar daar keek ze ook niet naar om. Erg jammer want het zag er uit als een erg mooi restaurant.

Wij hadden een zaal gehuurd met catering en dj. Heel sfeervol en heel vriendelijke service. Top lokatie.

Serveurs, ambiance et cuisine agréables. Bien situé en centre ville.

Der Hamburger mit Bacon war großartig! Man muss jedoch für den Besuch ein wenig Zeit einplanen, das Essen kann dauern. Alles in Allem sehr gerne wieder😊

We had a late lunch which enabled us to escape some unseasonable showers. We chose to sit inside rather than under the canopy outside as the only available table was right by the edge. Too much chance of rain! We had Nachos and a club sandwich. The sandwich was tasty, well cooked and presented, and as described in the menu. The Nachos were Nachos. Drinks were ok. Costs were as expected.

Service was good. Drinks brought promptly. Although the restaurant was seemingly quiet, food took a while to come and was very mediocre. The burger patty was overcooked and charred, the supposed brioche bun was dry and crumbled as I was eating. Fries were drenched in oil and weren't very good. Other meals were average and nothing to write home about.

Prima plek om neer te strijken na of tijdens een dagje shoppen. Mooie locatie, midden op het marktplein. We zaten hier tijdens een mooie dag, maar binnen is het pand ook erg sfeervol. We gingen hier zitten vanwege de Vegan opties, we waren met z'n tweeën en alleen ik ben Vegan. Prima optie dus. Aangezien dit een Café is verwacht je geen culinaire hoogstandjes. Maar het eten was werkelijk heerlijk. Ik ging voor de Vegan Empanada's met salsa en bonensalade. Geserveerd met frietjes in de schil en Vegan mayonaise. De olijfjes die we bestelden om als voorafje om de honger te stillen waren vies. Kleinigheidje. De hoofdgerechten maakten dit weer helemaal goed. Bediening was snel genoeg en vriendelijk.

Hier even wat gedronken gedurende een flinke hoosbui op het overvolle culinair festival, dus een wijntje en een portie bitterballen ( hartstikke culinair) genomen.

Je zit heerlijk qua locatie en je kan er prima eenvoudig lunchen. Alleen teleurgesteld over het broodje avocado. Je krijg voor €10 een sneetje brood met wat avocado 😅

Mijn vrienden en ik komen hier al een lange tijd. Beveiliging houdt vervelende gasten uit de deur en zorgt ervoor dat wij ons veilig voelen. Ik kom hier nog steeds graag terug. Even naar de mensen die XO niet kennen; je word niet onterecht behandeld tenzij je dit verdient! P.S. Irma de toiletdame verdient een bonus!!!

Helaas moest ik even wachten. De bestelling was niet goed doorgekomen. De aardige serveerster haalde de drankjes , van de rekening.

Volgens mij een heerlijke kroeg. Wij hebben er even gegeten super lekkere geitenkaassalade en twaalfuurtje!!

Prima plek in het centrum om wat te eten of te drinken . Vriendelijk personeel en een snelle service .
