Café Restaurant Concordia in Wijk 00 Zierikzee

We've been coming here for years, and really only for the delicious pea soup. We don't find the other menu items that appealing. I do have to say, however, that I find the prices in this restaurant a bit high. Friendly service.

We have lunch here every time we visit Zierikzee. We've been coming here for over 15 years (if not longer), and it's consistently delicious. The staff is friendly, and some of them have been there all this time. Which speaks volumes, of course. We went with the kids this time, and they loved it and had a great time too. The portions are generous, so there's a good chance you won't need dinner.

It's a shame I can't give a 0, a very rude owner. A group of 20 people couldn't be served because he didn't feel like it.

We ate a delicious, incredibly large cake. Enjoyed it for ages. Friendly service in a charming restaurant. Highly recommended.

The owner was very friendly, but the kibbeling was absolutely terrible. We couldn't taste any fish (cod) because of the large amount of fried, greasy batter. A waste of money.

Last year, we saw that Concordia had giant cream puffs. We watched the last ones go by. This year, we're back in Zierikzee with one goal: a cream puff at Concordia. We've been waiting for this for a year and finally got it, and what a fantastic experience! It must have been a true master baker at work. It's unbeatable, so big and delicious! See you next year!

We had to wait (too) long to pay. According to the owner, he was the only one who could do it (which surprised us). He literally said that his staff didn't speak Dutch and certainly couldn't count, and that if he let them pay, he'd quickly lose his business. He said that if I let them pay, everything will go wrong. We told him this was very inappropriate and very rude to the hard-working staff, never to visit this shop again. We had already praised the staff. This very rude, racist man is beyond shame!

Unfortunately, the service is poor; the tables are missing menus and orders are forgotten. The cappuccino is okay, but unfortunately nothing special. The French fries are standard, but unfortunately, there are no Dutch or Belgian fries. The kitchen is probably new; a few years ago, the food here was really delicious and the service was excellent. The ambiance is still great!

Unfortunately, we can't judge. Since we still weren't served after 20 minutes, we went somewhere else to eat.

We were warmly welcomed and served very tasty food quickly. The food was characterized by decent portions and good quality. It was comfortable to sit on the outside terrace! We'll be back! Cod kibbeling and Pannenkoek with ham&kaas were our favorites.

A chef who smokes every 15 minutes. Fried fish as dry as straw. Fries in a can, tossed back in the deep fryer, Farmer's salad on some iceberg lettuce. And you have to pay €23 for that. Shame on you.

Waited 20 minutes on the patio. Not very customer-friendly and the staff were not very helpful.

The service really took a while. The older gentleman serving was very nice, though! The food arrived quickly after we finally ordered. My kibbelings were bland, the fries were unfortunately completely salty, and there was a very small portion of salad for €22! The price/performance ratio was really not right. We had to ask several times to pay before someone finally came.

Delicious shrimp salad. Perfectly cooked with garlic and a fresh lemon dressing. A nice, large 4-cheese pizza.

Voor een simpele portie Kibbeling, zonder frietjes etc werd € 18,50 in rekening gebracht. Zeer overdreven prijs waar in de directe omgeving € 9,90 wordt gevraagd voor een portie Kibbeling met frietjes en salade! Je voelt je belazerd!

Lekkere cappucino en appeltaart hoed terras ook in wintertijd heel gezellig restaurant met ruimte en goede service heerlijke taartjes

Hier ist die Zeit stehen geblieben, nach gefühlt einer Ewigkeit kam die Bedienung im Zeitlupentempo nachdem diese gleiche bestimmt 10 mal am Tisch vorbeilief und sich anstrengte nicht zu schauen. Eben so lange hat es dann gedauert bis die Getränke kamen, wir haben uns spontan entschieden dann dort kein Essen zu bestellen, schliesslich würde unser Urlaub in 3 Tagen enden und wir wollten nicht die Zeit dort verbringen. Also kurzum, einmal und nie wieder!

We had a delicious meal here. Fast service.

The boy, with his sagging pants, stood daydreaming in the entrance hall and didn't see that the table 4 meters away, for 6 people, needed to be cleared. We had to ask for it. Black flies were already flying back and forth. The boy was slower than a snail, had apparently never cleared a table before, and was just hoisting his sagging pants. When clearing and cleaning the tables, the remains were thrown all over us, onto the chairs and the patio floor. Besides, how long hadn't the patio floor been cleaned, and the same goes for the windbreak? Months?? The cobwebs on the gutter have also been there for at least a few months. They are gray with dust and hang down. We will never drink a beer on this filthy, dirty patio again. By the way, the staff didn't know what beer was coming out of the pump. Disgusting, and it smelled like fried fish. The older waiter was friendly and polite. and always busy!!

Black angus hamburger besteld maar kreeg een of ander diepvries geperst vlees burger met veel te veel kruiden. Soort veredelde mac donalds burger, niets meer en niets minder. Maar dan voor ruim €18. We hebben er niet zo lang gezeten maar zag ondertussen wel 3x eten terug gestuurd worden naar de keuken.

We wanted to have lunch here as a family with two children. Unfortunately, after 10 minutes, we still hadn't been noticed, even though I asked the waitress upon entering if we could sit at the free table. The restaurant wasn't full either. We then went to another restaurant. There, we received a friendly welcome and were served immediately.

Good price quality ratio. Should be able to sell another draft beer next to the only other one.

What a disappointment. We had lunch here before but it was really good then. Now you order two croquettes with bread and that is what you literally see. No special bread, no raw vegetables with it. And that for that price.

Very large pieces of cake. That's what Concordia is known for. We had Tiramisu cake. Indeed large piece. Unfortunately very neutral in taste. Lots of cream, ladyfingers and cocoa. No Tiramisu taste. The cappuccino was also in a large cup. Unfortunately a lot of milk foam and hardly any coffee. So rather smaller portions, smaller cups but more taste.

When we were there three days ago, the service was excellent. Fast and friendly. Today, however, was a complete disappointment. We weren't served for 15 minutes. Other people had to wave to be served. Others left. So did we.

Lovely sitting inside. Food was fine but on the very large sandwiches the mustard disappears into nothing. More bags would be desirable for me and my husband. Is personal but my/our opinion

Ordered the anniversary menu on Saturday evening with 7 adults and a child. Delicious starter, tasty main course, both choice of 2 and different types of ice cream. Also fine and large. 2 drinks. That for 35 euros per person. Friendly service. Highly recommended.

Samen met mijn moeder hier plaats genomen voor de lunch. Pizza Hawaï en pizza prosciutto. Deze pizza’s waren beide dusdanig overgoten met kaas dat het een vette massa was, de bodem was ook niet zoals een pizzabodem hoort te zijn maar plakkerig door het teveel aan vet en kaas. Mijn moeder heeft een half puntje genomen en ik een kwart van mijn pizza. Toen wij bij het afruimen aangaven de rest pizza’s niet mee te willen nemen omdat deze echt niet lekker waren kwam er geen response van de dame. Bij het afrekenen met meneer ook aangegeven dat dit echt geen lekkere pizza’s waren wederom geen enkele tegemoetkoming voor een ander gerecht, tegoedbon, drankje niets. Slechte reclame dit.

Had a cup of coffee here with a piece of cake. The menu already stated that the pastry was large, but we both ordered their own piece anyway. We had made a mistake, oops... The pastry was very tasty, but too much for us haha!

Gezellig, lekker en snel bediend! Kibbeling en gegratineerde mosselen waren echt lekker! Prijs-kwaliteit dik in orde.

Vanmiddag rond 17.00 u met mijn vrouw wat drinken. Gevraagd om verse jus + een stuk appeltaart. Appeltaart was groot en redelijk van smaak. Jus was 100% niet vers…gewoon uit bles of pak. Toen betalen…ruim € 19.00 voor deze 2 nep jus + appeltaart 😩. Dan ben je met recht afgezet en niet culinair verwend.

The menu says Chocomel, third-class cocoa is served, or heavily diluted Chocomel for almost 6 euros… Personally, the waffles are much too hard for me, but the cherries with them were very tasty.

Super nice service, we had Pannekoeken with ham and cheese which was very tasty. 5 stars are justified...

Probably the worst tosti in Nederland I ordered a ham and cheese tosti it was terrible The bread so thin with cheese like melted plastic and tasteless ham served with tomato sauce wow not good enough for an animal The staff. We're unhelpfull a very unpleasant experience.

Welcoming place in the middle of beautiful Zierikzee with a beautiful terrace. The pastry has enormous proportions and is definitely recommended! Homemade meatball was very tasty!

Wir waren hier schon öfter essen und wurden nie enttäuscht. Diese Woche waren wir mit Freunden dort die eine glutenallergie hatten und es konnten fast alle Speisen mit glutenfreiem Brot zubereitet werden. Das war super entspannt

Bad operation. Long waits and the staff often does not speak Dutch or speaks poor English. The clothing of the staff is a mockery and is in serious need of replacing. It doesn't matter for the food, of course, but the eye also wants something, so to speak. Have to say the restaurant inside looked nice. We wanted to pay and almost left without paying. There is an older man who can pay. We asked for the bill several times and eventually we wanted to pay at the cash register, but we were sent back there because the best man was the only one who was allowed to pay. They weren't the only ones who were annoyed by this. Not for us anymore because there are many nicer places in Zierikzee!

A fantastic location, delicious pastries, but you have to look after the staff yourself. We ordered delicious coffee and cake here with family (6 people) for the second time in two years. A beautiful establishment with a nice atmosphere. The choice from the large, well-filling pastry variety is highly recommended here. We always share the different choices to experience the flavors. Unfortunately, the staff is not all Dutch, which is fine to give them a chance, but they make a lot of mistakes. Orders were not received correctly and when paying, I asked for it 3 times and then went to the manager myself. We won't do that again; was about to walk away without paying. Reported to the manager who easily let the respectful feedback slide. Missed opportunity. It is highly recommended to take a breath of fresh air here in the lovely Zierikzee.

On a Wednesday afternoon, after a visit to the fantastic flea market at Kloet, we of course visited the center of Zierikzee. Always a party with the nice selection and the wide variety of shops and shops. Not in the mood for a meal after the round, but of course again🌞for a drink. So we settled on the terrace of Concordia. A delicious white wine and a blond Grimbergen were soon on the table thanks to the smooth, but friendly service. A number of beautiful dishes were served around us, as well as beautiful snacks. Pancake was good. The fries for the croquettes were a mix of limp and double fried fries but the croquettes were good. Four service staff but unfortunately only the younger man was actually seen working. Everyone else had no idea what to do. With the two young women, I'm glad that looks can't kill. Unfortunately, the older gentleman who cashed in was very slow and uncoordinated. A very big drawback are the ugly artificial flowers as a border, because artificial flowers are now also available in beautiful ones.

During our Oosterscheldekeerkring cycling route, we stopped in Zierikzee for a delicious lunch on the terrace. Enjoyed fresh lukewarm mackerel on a delicious brown sandwich. What a party!

Had to wait a long time for service, but it was summer and busy so no problem. Except for an older man, mediocre service. The hamburger sandwich we ordered looked similar to the menu and the price was quite high, but it was extremely simple and limited. 1st and last time

Nice terrace with a view. Well, expired. You get decent portions for what you pay. Unfortunately, there are actually no vegetarian options, unless you eat fish. It was delicious. But not top quality. The service was spontaneous and we were helped quickly. And the fact that some speak English is no problem for me. Great for an easy bite. Unfortunately, not real dining for me.

Wir sind beim Stadtbummel zufällig hier gelandet und haben draußen einen Tisch ergattert. Unser Apfelkuchen mit Schlagsahne war sowohl optisch als auch geschmacklich ne Wucht! Wir waren rundum zufrieden!
