The food was great, the pizza wasn't anything special. The staff was super friendly.

It's been a while since we'd eaten at Schowse Hoeve. 11-9-2025: the decor was as usual, but the schnitzel was deep-fried, which is misleading. It was indicated on the takeaway menu. A missed opportunity, unfortunately. We'll go to a different restaurant next time.

Very tasty food and friendly service

A very friendly welcome, and despite it being busy, we were able to get a table (without a reservation). The menu was delicious, not too extensive, but enough choice for us. The wait time was very reasonable, the food was delicious, and we will definitely be back.

The selection is very limited but okay. I had the schnitzel with paprika sauce and then a tiramisu. The size is okay to fill you up. The schnitzel was okay but the paprika sauce was disappointing. There were a few pieces of vegetables fried in a lot of fat with it, but a sauce? The "sauce" was a familiar barbecue sauce, which I initially assumed was ketchup for the fries. I really expected something different. For dessert there was a tiramisu which only looked like a tiramisu. The cream was just cream with more cream as decoration and they charge €9 for a small piece. If you are staying at the Landalpark and want to eat something without any fuss, the restaurant is okay but nothing more.

We ordered chicken skewers for an 11-year-old and received three tiny, cold frozen skewers with peanut sauce, a side salad without dressing, and nine prawn crackers for €15.50. Since we had already been here on vacation two years ago and the food was already so bad, I would advise against this restaurant, or rather, against eating there.

We were sitting here for 2 hours and still hadn't looked at the main course while other tables were sitting there for 10 minutes and had already eaten our children were also impatient but 2 hours is really too long. The food was tasty there but a really bad restaurant

Sehr hübsch. Das Brot mit den Dips war ausgezeichnet. Der Salat und die Fischportion waren sehr groß. Es hat sehr gut geschmeckt und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Excellent food and drinks, but you pay for it. Old-fashioned and dark decor. Very warm inside, especially in the area with the low, sloping ceiling.

We ate there twice in a row, ordered different dishes each time and were very satisfied. And the whole thing including a very friendly and attentive staff. We can only recommend it!

Super great food with nice staff. The selection of dishes is not huge, but it is completely sufficient and a feast for the palate. No snack bar next door. Just eat delicious food and enjoy. Top!

We hebben hier heerlijk gegeten. Bediening was zeer attent en vriendelijk. Bestelling ging snel en we hebben niet lang op het eten moeten wachten.

Friendly service, but that's all. Very expensive for what you get and again a large part of the menu unavailable. In any case, do not order dishes with rice. Rarely have I eaten something so boring in a restaurant.

On our last evening in Landalpark we ordered a pizza to pick up and were extremely disappointed. Ordering and pickup were very good but the pizza itself was subpar. We have been coming to this Landalpark for over ten years and have eaten pizza here several times. Unfortunately no longer recommended. As I said, the review only refers to the take-away pizza.

I posted this review here almost three years ago. So the specified time, five months, is incorrect!!! We have been coming to this cozy restaurant for years, with friendly and hospitable staff. The food is good and was served quickly despite being busy. Still a comment. This time we ate here twice in quick succession. Both times we had a bottle of wine with dinner. This is not cheap, so I expect the usual service such as tasting and pouring the wine. Unfortunately, the bottle was only placed on the table and was not looked after again. Hence no 5 stars. Too bad because the rest of the service was so casual and friendly. Still, the restaurant is recommended, we will definitely come back here when we are in Zeeland, but from now on without a bottle of wine.

There used to be pizza day and delicious pizza on Wednesdays. Pizza day no longer exists and the pizza now has extremely low toppings and tastes similar to a frozen pizza. I can't rate the food in the restaurant.

It was a long time ago...years...but it was still delicious With a very friendly lady who ran her legs out from under her derriere all by herself. Price/quality ratio is well balanced.

Ik heb over de hele wereld al spareribs gegeten, maar nergens zo lekker als hier. Topwijnt erbij, leuke en gezellige bediening. Ik woon aan de andere kant van het land, maar zeker de moeite waard om hier te gaan eten.

First we were reluctantly offered a table by a grumpy employee. When we wanted to order drinks, we were told that there was no beer with alcohol and no wine list. The cocktail I ordered came and the accompanying fruit water had expired since February (!!). The waitress said it wasn't a problem, it was still drinkable. Prices are excessive compared to the quality of the food and selection. Hospitality looks different to me.

Ik belde om te vragen of ik wat kon bestellen, jammer genoeg kreeg ik gehaast antwoord en werd ik onprofessioneel te woord gestaan. Zonder dat ik uit kon praten hing mevrouw op. Ook zijn kipnuggets niet te vreten. De tijden dat ze open zijn klopt ook geen moer van. Ik kom hier nooit meer terug onbeschofte tyfus bende

Leider sehr schlechter Service und unangemessener Umgang mit den Gästen. Wir(2P) wurden nach 15 minütiger Wartezeit( 19.45 Uhr) an einem Tisch im Aussenbereich darauf hingewiesen, dass aufgrund von Personalmangel keine Bedienung mehr möglich sei. Viele der Tische waren frei und nicht reserviert. Das Restaurant schließt um 21 Uhr, 75 Minuten sollten daher zur Bedienung ausreichend sein. Ein seltsames Gebaren für ein gewinnorientiertes Gewerbe. Wir können das Restaurant nicht empfehlen.

Fijn gegeten en vriendelijk personeel

Heel vriendelijk onthaal, prachtig en verzorgd ingericht. Uitgebreide menukaart met democratische prijzen. We hebben zeer smakelijk gedineerd met een fijn glas wijn, professioneel en vriendelijk geserveerd. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Heerlijk eten en uitermate vriendelijke bediening ook is de sfeer van de boerderij erg leuk.

Einfach super dort, alles perfekt, die Inhaber sind super nette und liebe Menschen. Sehr empathisch. Wir sind noch vor Ort und genießen dort die Zeit, es lohnt sich 🥳😃

De saus van de kipsaté leek al 3 maal verwarmd te zijn geweest. Echt onsmakelijk, en ook de kip was zeer droog. Het kader was wel gezellig. Geen eigen parking.

Preis Leistung top. Wir haben dort meist Take away bestellt es war alles immer heiß und frisch zubereitet.

Bediening: Familiebedrijf? In ieder geval was de bediening erg vriendelijk. Hadden antwoord op de vragen en lachten ook mee, bij grappen. Keken ook hele tijd vriendelijk, waardoor je je niet voelde alsof je alleen maar stoorde. Sfeer: Wauw. Erg onder de indruk. Interieur/ inrichting van dit restaurant? Ge-wel-dig. Het is echt prachtig. De sfeer van oude boerderij maakt het erg, erg gezellig. De mix van de sfeer door het gebouw zelf en de vriendelijk- en openheid van de bediening is echt waar de perfect match. Eten: Het eten is goed qua smaak, en er is veel keus. Ook voor de vegetariër goed te eten. Niet bepaald iets bijzonders. Dit was een avond die zeker weten voor herhaling vatbaar is!

Een fantastisch kunstmaal n.a.v. afsluiting van de Kunstschouw Schouwen Duiveland. Heel veel sterkte voor de directie van de Schouwse Hoeve.

Zeer mooi restaurant, prachtig, Menú kaart heeft aleen frituur menu's, zeer jammer. ( misschien omdat wij zijn buiten seizoen...) ? ...

Zeer lekker eten wij hadden twee schnitzels we konden binnen 50 minuten ophalen. Jammer dat er geen specifieke plekken waren om je fiets te parkeren maar dat maakt niet zoveel uit. Niet te duur en lekker, het was fijn dat de friet los van de schnitzels kwam

Das Ambiente dieses Restaurants ist wirklich top!! Vom Essen her.. Einfach, aber gut. Derzeit wie eine Snackbar. Die Karte war jetzt bei uns (02/2023) sehr minimiert. Die ganze Region leidet unter Personalmangel, dies hat man oftim Ort oder auch Strand feststellen müssen. Personal sehr freundlich!! !! Man kann sich abends aber auch einfach für ein Getränk hinsetzen und den Abend ausklingen lassen

Super leckeres Essen tolle Besitzer sehr freundlich hat uns mega gut gefallen immer wieder gerne freuen uns jetzt schon auf Ende Mai , dann gehts wieder dahin . Und auf jeden Fall dort hin wieder zum Essen .

Ja waren zum Abendessen im Lokal. Ein etwas holpriger Start, da uns mitgeteilt wurde, das beide Köche kurzfristig gekündigt hatten. Aber auch die minimierte Karte war völlig ausreichend. Ambiente war super schön. Gerne wieder, hoffentlich dann mit Koch
