What terrible service! We weren't greeted warmly. We were sitting at the bar with several colleagues, but no one came to our table. We had to ask for the menu ourselves, which they grumpily placed on the table. We never saw anyone again after that. We waited 40 minutes. We weren't the only ones with this problem. Such a shame.

We went to this restaurant for the first time and had a fantastic meal for a great price. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. The homemade iced tea was truly *chef's kiss*. We will definitely be back! 🍔

A very nice restaurant with great patio to sit outside, which we did. The service was friendly, the menu was quite large, and we all could easily find something we would enjoy. This restaurant is a gem in Hilversum with a rich history. It has an excellent menu, excellent food, professional and very friendly service, and a lovely terrace. I go there often and with great pleasure.

We enjoyed a delicious three-course meal with a lovely group. We first enjoyed drinks outside on the terrace before sitting down to dinner. It's a shame we didn't have a round table, as it would have been more convivial with seven people. The food was excellent. Beautiful dishes, beautifully presented and served. The attentive service was appreciative of a joke.

Celebrated a party and it became a party partly due to the good service and the delicious food.

We had to eat within half an hour to be on time for our appointment. It worked out great. Our salads were delicious. Top cooperation.

Voor de tweede keer hier geluncht, met wisselend resultaat. De jus d’orange was prima van verse sinaasappels. Had Eggs Royale besteld wat een gepocheerd ei met met zalm, spinazie en hollandaise saus is op brioche broodje. Het broodje was prima, maar het ei was gewoon een hard gekookt ei, gerookte zalm was 2 bij 3 cm ‘groot’ en de hollandaise saus was geen saus maar mayonaise-achtig en niet vloeibaar. Al met al, erg teleurgesteld en de €14 niet waard. Had een zelfde lunch deze week bij de Witte Bergen en daar was het zo als het hoort. Ei moet gepocheerd zijn en uitlopen als je hem door snijdt, zalm ruim aanwezig en saus dik vloeibaar. Leermoment!

Wij hadden beiden een drie gangen menu: - De eendenborst smaakte en zag eruit alsof het uit een fabriek kwam, “eenheidsworst”. - De gebakken kabeljauwfilet was glazig en vrijwel zonder smaak, de puree was drabbig, zo te zien en te proeven kwam het uit een pakje. De sauzen waren ronduit smerig. - Een van de drie Hollandse kazen (degene die eruitzag als camembert) was ver over de top met zijn veel te sterke ammoniaksmaak. - Salade Niçoise met gegrilde tonijn: de tonijn kwam naar onze smaak uit een blikje. - Gegrilde Entrecôte: Het vlees was absoluut te taai om te eten (waarschijnlijk te snel en te heet geroosterd en/of te dun). Wij hadden onze klachten gemaild naar De Eendracht, maar na een week hadden wij nog geen antwoord.

What a bizarre thing... they promote with live jazz music, so we book for a special occasion. Even on the day of the event their website says that the band will play.. but you guessed it.. due to "not enough space" there is no room for the band and they canceled it, without any communication with their customers. How strange way to get customers...

Beautiful, cozy dining room and expansive terrace. Be ready for sticker shock if you haven’t visited in a while. Food was just OK, given the elevated price levels. And what happened to the chicken sate? I’ll keep it beer and bitterballen next time.

Waited more than 1 hour for food to arrive. Although it was Easter Day, we had standard menu. Aspergus soup was watery without taste. The high tea kind of sandwich brunch presentation and quality were bland or oversalted. Only one choice for vegetarians. In summary, bad food, bad service, lots of money...

It was our first time here and unfortunately it did not leave a good impression. We had lunch here on a Sunday afternoon and sat in the cafe area because it looked very attractive and cozy. Staff only paid attention to the table at the back of the cafe where an older couple was having a drink (customers with special treatment?) They checked several times whether they were satisfied or still wanted to order. Our table was passed by several times over the course of 20 minutes without making eye contact and asking if we were ready to order yet. Eventually we approached the bar staff ourselves and asked if we could order. We had a simple order: 2x minced meat ball with sour bomb and fries. After 45 minutes our order had not yet arrived, even though the restaurant was much quieter at 3:15 PM. Service still didn't pay attention to our table, so we approached the bar staff again and asked whether it had gone well with placing our order or whether it was busy in the kitchen? Lady at the bar went to the kitchen and came back saying it was coming. Fortunately this was also the case. 5 minutes later our food arrived. Fries were good but we got a cold meatball with lukewarm gravy that fell apart as soon as you put the knife in it, old casino bread and 2 thin strips (not even decent slices) which was supposed to represent the sour bomb. Very unfortunate, we were genuinely looking forward to discovering the 'pearl' of Hilversum.

On Valentine's Day we used the menu composed for this purpose. Very tasty meal. A deliciously tender piece of veal tenderloin. Friendly and quick service and a pleasant atmosphere. A place for us to eat again

January 4th was my 60th birthday. Had dinner with a group of 8. First impression: very nice place, very cozy, feels homely. There was already a birthday going on, so we were initially forgotten, which was a shame. When we did get into the picture, it was great. We opted for the 3 course dinner at the ridiculously low price of 39.95. All 3 courses were super tasty. Nothing was too much for the staff. Very well packed. Big thumbs up. You can stay seated as long as you want. Had a great evening. I will definitely come back, thank you very much, I really enjoyed it🥰👍🎉

Geluncht met een collega in dit gezellige restaurant. Vriendelijke ontvangst en attent en aardig personeel. Prima lunch kaart met voldoende maar geen overdadige keuze. Burger samen met frietjes was goede keuze en prima gerecht. Ook versgeperst sinaasappelsap was ook inderdaad vers geperst. Uiterst relaxte zaak zonder opsmuk ( dat is in het Gooi wel eens anders) Kortom: aanrader

Top Staff, but the food has deteriorated significantly over the past year. The salmon starter is delicious, but instead of a crispy toast (from last year) they have now put a dirty, weak pancake underneath. The Carpaccio has become almost invisibly thin and supplemented with cheap vegetables. The (medium) Entrecote was tough, especially straight from the fridge into the pan...and without time to rest in the gravy. The vegetables served with it used to be al denté, but now the carrots were just hard. My wife was very pleased with her goat's cheese starter. We knew the mashed potatoes were less (dry), so we ordered extra fries, but they come unsalted and with a sour mayo that is more like salad dressing. If you want to sit comfortably for a few hours, I don't recommend sitting in the wooden chairs. A church bench has more cushioning. This is €35 for a 3-course quality menu in a brown café-like atmosphere, and not €50-60. Sorry, but it is a wonderful place for a drink on a sunny evening, but no longer for a meal with your family. Edit: response is appreciated, but it is not a matter of "tastes differ", because all 5 people really liked it less. That's why we even skipped dessert and went for a soft ice cream. We have been visiting you for years and the last few times have been a lot less, while prices are rising. Again, a few starters, the snacks and drinks are great...but for Dinner it just falls short.

Went here for a quick meal with my 2-year-old son when my mother was at the Bergman clinic 5 minutes away. Very friendly staff and very helpful! Definitely recommended. And especially if you have to wait a while at Bergman.

Afgelopen zaterdag wilden wij bij de Eendracht een hoofdgerecht en nagerecht besteld.Mijnvrouw bestelde piepkuiken met een frietje en een salade. De niet aangemaakte salade bestond uit een paar droge bladjes sla met wat radijs. De salade in een klein bakje was gewoon een zielig gezicht. Piepkuiken was goed. Ik had een Rib-Eye op een bedje van spinazie met 1 klein stukje lof en 1 worteltje (35,-) en een frietje. Tijdens het eten van de Rib-EYE begon ik steeds meer zeen te proeven totdat ik ongeveer een kwart van de Rib-Eye als vet opzij moest schuiven. Het was letterlijk kauwen van vlees, Bij navraag werd toegegeven dat de leverancier de laatste tijd nogal vettig en zenig vlees leverde. Het feit dat je dan dit vlees niet teruggeeft aan de leverancier maar wel aan de klant geeft, vindt ik bedenkelijk. Als compensatie werd twee koffie gratis aangeboden. Evengoed waren we in totaal incl, twee glazen wijn en twee watertjes en 1 Gin Tonic totaal 93,- kwijt want het dessert hebben we maar overgeslagen en zijn ontevreden naar huis gegaan. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is zoek. en de conclusie is dan ook dat wij hier niet meer komen dineren. Zonde van het geld en dat zeg ik niet gauw! E. Knol Hilversum

Very cozy and nice place. Delicious food and beautiful dishes for a fair price. Friendly service. There were six of us and we had a round table at the back of the restaurant, where we enjoyed sitting. Very nice music was played. I found a playlist on Spotify of this restaurant and I'm happy with it haha!

A nice tent with many broadcasting celebrities and real Hilversum

Always good for a good cup of coffee or tea and delicious apple pie. The food is okay, but price/quality could be a little more in proportion; I think it's on the expensive side for what you get. The place itself is very cozy, with a large outdoor terrace where you can sit even if it rains a bit. I gave 3 stars for the service because there are often quite young, inexperienced people in the service who still have to learn a bit and are therefore not always attentive. But there are several permanent staff members who I would happily give 4 to 5 stars.

Ate here again today at the invitation of my parents-in-law. I thought the dishes were good this time, especially the salmon blini was good. Once again friendly staff. March 16, 2024 Had drinks and dinner here with a group of friends. The dishes were all a bit boring. My pate lacked some decoration. Piece of toast or something. And the pork belly was lukewarm and tasteless. All you tasted was mustard. Cheese board was nice. But the service was good. All very young, but they tried very hard. 2 years ago Nice thing. A quietly located, large terrace. Unfortunately we had Dutch weather. Map is clear. Execution well. Bisque was a bit too watery. N the carrots with the excellent lamb fillet by the way were badly removed. Giving a little more guidance to the somewhat young ministry is really advisable.

Starter really tasty. Main course definitely not bad. Cozy and the service is enthusiastic and friendly.

It's a shame that - in 2024 - there is still no smoke-free (part of the lovely) terrace.

Treated rudely by the male waitress. More than half of the place was empty, but they didn't want to serve us, supposedly too busy. We were a group of nine and wanted to eat and drink around half past one. It's a shame that it turned out this way, it spoiled the atmosphere. A guest left, we stayed, and didn't have to wait long for our food. While that was told by the waiter. Apparently he didn't feel like it.

Unfortunately we did not receive a warm welcome. We came for lunch with a group of 8. The service immediately reported that there were few staff and that it could take a long time. Fine! Then we weren't seen for fifteen minutes. When we asked whether we could order in advance for one person, as he had to leave quickly, we had to consult with the chef. This also took a while. The dish was literally thrown on the table! We stayed calm. Mr. Waiter, the customer is king!!! I'll have lunch elsewhere next time. Message to the chef, it was delicious.

Ate at Eendracht for the second time and had a delicious meal again! Nice casual atmosphere and, in my opinion, good service too.

Gem in the Gooi. You drive past it almost every day but you never sit there. Just take a seat because it is quite an experience. The staff is super attentive and up for a chat. The people who come there are also very talkative. We got there around 4pm and the sun was shining. Enough space on the terrace on the road. First a nice beer to quench your thirst and a snack for the terrible hunger pangs you get after 40km. (Unfortunately no Guinness, but a Weizen). The appetizer board also has the meatballs and gravy. Tip. Order some bread with it, because the gravy is excellent. Around 5:30 PM something strange happens. People came from every nook and cranny to have a bite to eat. It was full in no time.... So we also took a look at the menu. Even though we had already bought groceries for dinner, we still decided to eat there. The burger and half a chicken were delicious. The dishes that ended up on the other tables also looked delicious. ... Anyway, to those few wines!! For dessert and coffee with limoncello, the two of us still came to 160 euros. A bit high but it was a super fun evening.

Dissappointing experience. To find a really healthy option was not easy. I chose the pulled paddos. There was more lettice on the bread than paddos. The mixture looked like made yesterday and not even reheated, dish was cold. I am a regular customer. But I will not come back 4 lunch. After I complained the waitress said she wld let the the cook now. No guesture to make up the tasteless experience.

We had drinks at De Eendracht for 70+ people. The team thought carefully about our wishes in advance and prepared everything as discussed. The day itself was exactly as we had hoped, everything went smoothly thanks to the fantastic (friendly) staff of De Eendracht. The location is highly recommended for a party/drinks.

Dit was de 4e keer in circa 18 maanden dat we naar de eendracht zijn gegaan. De eerste 2 keren waren top, maar de laatste 2 wat minder. De porties lijken kleiner en we waren nu € 200+ kwijt voor 4 starters, 4 hoofdgerechten en 7 (non alcoholische) drankjes (geen toetje/koffie. Ze hebben ook de lekkere friet vervangen met een droge aardappelpuree. Wat ons betreft circa € 30-40 te veel voor deze kwaliteit. Het is prima eten hoor, maar de starters moeten max €10 zijn, de hoofdgerechten max €25 en frisdrank max € 3,5. € 4,75 voor een bitter lemon of tonic is belachelijk. Zeker als de eerst uit de fles komt en de volgende uit de tap (ja dat viel me op). € 41,50 voor een 3 gangenmenu lijkt prima, maar alle lekker dingen hebben een € 4,5 toeslag. Voor deze prijzen liever naar Loetje, Boeddha, India Port, Ganesha, Argentina enz.

Cozy restaurant right across the library. We loved the atmosphere of this restaurant. We went there for a quick bite and we ordered kaas tosti and gember tee. Tosti's were delicious but slightly burned on some parts of it. In general it was a pleasant experience. Also we loved the their music taste.

Dat had wel op de site bij reserveren mogen staan, want dan waren we later gekomen. Een borrelplank vulde de tijd. Toch om 17.00u wat gegeten. De pompoensalade was héérlijk, de saté was lekker maar liever niet zo'n grote homp vlees, de carpaccio ook prima! De zoete aardappelfrietjes en de verse frietjes waren top! Wij vonden het niet behaaglijk binnen, iets te fris. Personeel mag wat alerter zijn en vragen of dat je er iets bij wilt als je koffie en drinken besteld. Wel erg vriendelijk!

Hier gegeten met vrienden. Wat een mooi ‘bruin’ ingericht pand. Voelde me meteen thuis. Vriendelijk personeel, lekker eten (gerechtjes zijn niet heeel groot), mooie prijs voor een driegangenmenu. Tafels niet te dicht op elkaar, muziek niet te hard. Zeker een ‘terugkomrestaurant’.
