The kibbeling was amazing! Crispy on the outside, soft and tender inside. Paired with mulled wine and beer, it was an incredible combination. Pure happiness in cold weather 🤍🍺🍷 Eddy is truly an amazing person. With both his character and his energy, he brings positivity and beauty to every environment he’s in. Knowing him is a real privilege.

Great café, very welcoming and helpful owner, served us delicious soup and fries one evening. A very fond memory of our time in Amsterdam.

The price (8.90) for a pilsner was quite high, but there was also a bit of house beer. The service, however, was incredibly good; no one was more amused than the waiter.

Awful, rude staff, felt unwelcome from the moment we walked through the door. Kitchen looked filthy.

We ordered the Brouwerij'tij beer, and it was the best we'd tried in Amsterdam. We also highlighted the warm atmosphere and Katie's excellent service. She was very friendly, smiling, and quick to serve us.

Really liked this place! Cozy vibe, not touristy at all. The bitterballen were sooo good – crispy outside, soft inside, just the way they should be. Perfect spot to chill with a drink and some proper Dutch snacks. Definitely coming back. ♡♡

The bill for 4 beers and 2 Sprites was €35.60. The bank notified me of a charge of €53.60. Everything else was fine. Both the waitress the day before in the morning and the waiter in the afternoon were friendly, but there was an €18 error in the charge.

Poor service from the waitress on August 3rd at 12 noon. Very unfriendly.

We visit Amsterdam every summer and come here every day. The staff are always so friendly and its nice to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere. Thank you for always being so kind and welcoming to us every summer. We look forward to it every year ❤️

¡Aléjate! ¡Rápido! Al principio no me lo pensé dos veces cuando no había precios mencionados en su menú (lo cual es ilegal por cierto). Ni una. Gran bandera roja, por supuesto, pero me pillaron desprevenido. Por eso escribo esta reseña para advertir a otros. Esto se debe a que al hacer el check out, te estafan completamente y descubren por qué no se mencionan precios en su menú; tomamos solo dos bebidas y unas patatas fritas y pagamos casi 100 €. Puedes ir a cualquier restaurante decente por ese dinero.

Hello to all reading these reviews. I work at Café Stopera and a couple days ago we had a group of Spanish people inside that thought it was obviously normal to change your childs diaper on the table while I had other guests eating inside. I was shocked amd told them that it wasn't allowed. Afterwards we received numerous terrible reviews about our Café filled with lies. In the 23 years I've been living in Amsterdam I have never seen a cockroach and any kind of smoking indoors has been banned for years in Amsterdam. These are just a couple things they made up. I was literally shocked when I read the reviews they posted. As for you people that wrote the reviews, shame on you!!

I went to pay by card, he took the credit card, and then he wants to charge me, where is the privacy of my card? How do I know he didn't take my card information? I had to cancel it immediately. Impertinent waitress.

What a mess of a place, where there are people smoking joints inside and I tell you this because I have a little girl and it seems right to the unpleasant waitress...

The waitress was apathetic and inattentive, ignoring our signals to order more drinks. She seemed rushed and uninterested in providing good service. It definitely left a lot to be desired.

The waitress was rude and seemed upset with any request. He barely paid attention to the table and forgot several orders. His unprofessional attitude ruined the experience at the place.

Service was slow and disorganized. The drinks lacked flavor and the food arrived cold. Additionally, the atmosphere was loud and uncomfortable, which made the experience disappointing. Also the bathrooms are dirty and small.

The experience in this bar was very negative due to the lack of hygiene. Upon arrival, the tables were dirty, with food remains and stains that had not been cleaned. The floor, in addition to being sticky, had garbage accumulated in the corners, which gave a general impression of abandonment. The bathrooms were the worst: neglected, smelly and without toilet paper, making them almost unusable.

The waitress showed a lack of interest and was quite impatient. He messed up several times with our orders and didn't even apologize. Their negative attitude affected the experience at the place.

Great experience ! We had the soup of the day and the beef stew... good portion size and good food.

Much needed break from exploring , this small traditional place was ideal. Sat at the window watching the hustle and bustle of the busy street outside and enjoyed our drinks . The lady serving was happy to direct us to the area we were heading to, prices reasonable for the location. Clean and quirky decor .

Personnel absolument désagréable. We sat and waited for you to take our order, I closed my eyes and two people who work in the restaurant came yelling and clapping their hands to "wake me up". Every exchange afterwards was done in an aggressive manner, and even when paying, there was no kindness or politeness. In 25 years, no one has ever spoken so badly to me.

Found this wonderful oasis of calm. Loved the Innkeepers choice of music, I'm a great fan. He was very patient explaining his list of beer. Great place for mature people regardless of age after a busy day visiting Amsterdam. This my bar in Amsterdam. See you in January.

Um lugar discreto e menos turístico frequentado por locais. O Hambúrguer com batatas veio com as melhores batatas que comi.

Ein wirklich total schönes kleines Lokal - mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail , sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Die WC's sind typischer Weise extrem klein, das Handwaschbecken ist nicht größer wie die Hand selbst. Aber sehr sehr schön ist das Lokal. Die Preise sind eben entsprechend der Sradt nicht billig.
