Rented a boat, didn't go to the cafe. Lovely sailing, absolutely beautiful.

It's a real local pub, but with the speed of a snail cafe. The terrace was almost empty, but it took ages. We even debated whether to order bitterballen. We should have skipped it. It took almost an hour to fry 12 snacks. Yes, the kitchen is delayed. What's the problem, there are only 3 tables occupied?

Lovely traditional Dutch café. Very cozy and friendly service. We had a delicious lunch on the terrace overlooking the Vecht River. Highly recommended for anyone looking for that holiday feeling, but also a fantastic place to stop over!

A hidden gem by the river Lovely spot to relax by the water with a great atmosphere. I had the brie and pesto panini — absolutely delicious! The service was excellent: friendly and welcoming. It’s one of those places where you feel so comfortable, you might end up staying longer than planned. Highly recommended!

Number of times a meeting includes a large plate of food. Lots of regulars. Cozy inside but also a terrace on the water with a great view. Always a shame about smoking right in front of the café

Went to dinner with my wife last Sunday, March 9, 2025. The pannini was very hard according to my wife and old according to my wife. The blonde waitress asked what I wanted to eat and I ordered a ham cheese bouncer and asked for tomato with it (baked in). When it was served I didn't see any tomato, the waitress said it was under the bouncer. I turned my bouncer over and guess what? no fried tomatoes. So she lied too. After our first 2 ordered cappuccinos, we wanted to order 1 more cappuccino and 1 coke zero with our food. The blonde waitress had taken the order and said (coming soon), but nothing came at all. So we paid and left, we will never come here again.

Nice pub! Beautiful and sunny terrace on the Vecht. This afternoon we enjoyed the famous ball sandwich with satay sauce in the early spring sun. Mmmm… very tasty. Add a glass of rosé and enjoy!

Nice Friday evening. Nice (and very curious) staff. ;) In terms of food, the Salad was not a good choice. They actually didn't have these anymore. Try to make one with love. The vegetarian kebab was fine, but not much vegetarian meat in it. Nice tablecloths made from carpets. Just not really practical and a bit dingy. Nice tent!

After a long walk we came here to gain strength. The menu is extensive and there is something of everything. The sandwich I ordered was okay, but don't expect too much from it. It's a simple sandwich, which was tasty. The service was very cheerful and, above all, fast. That was very pleasant. Good resting point!

Nice place on the water where we had a wonderful time. We had 12 o'clock for lunch. A soup we chose the Chinese tomato (this was also very tasty) if the chef happens to read this... can I have the recipe 😀 There was a fried egg sandwich with a croquette sandwich and salad. Delicious! This way we were able to tackle our next walking stage of 10 km well again.

We rented a boat to take a ride on the Vecht River. We brought food from Het Helletje. Good food and a pleasant walk.

The place to be. Perfect brown café in a beautiful spot near the center in a bend of the Vecht, everyone walks past the terrace. And every so often a raucous street party.
