Had a super fun drinks hour with the locals from Nijmegen and someone from 020. Ps I don't know if AH thinks so too

Ladies and gentlemen – I highly recommend this place, located in the heart of Nijmegen, with a unique atmosphere full of Dutch warmth. The bartender will treat you like a friend (a Pisces by zodiac). He has a good heart, beautiful eyes, and a pleasant voice. He's a good person. Go visit him. Best regards :)

Very pleasant and committed bartender. Always makes time for a chat, even when it's busy. Too bad the snacks are not completely vegan!

Very unfriendly lady behind the bar. When I see her I usually turn around. It's scandalous how she behaves and chases guests away or even refuses to let them in.

Last night at the employee's house we stood, again, in front of a closed door. Madam likes to organize private parties and decides who comes in. We regularly come in as a group... Last night around two o'clock we heard through a closed door... I'm closed!!! While the pub was full. From now on we like to look further afield. The last time we came in at one o'clock, the lady started honking unfriendly... You can still get one drink because I WANT to close... No... apparently we didn't like her. Hours later the cafe was still open. This lady does not belong behind this cozy bar. Very unfortunate. Other employees are top notch and very pleasant. We just look further afield more often. Nasty taste.

A café as a pub should be. From quiet conversations to dancing girls on the bar, you can expect everything. (and luckily they don't just have Swinckels on tap)

Real Nijmegen residents should not miss this neighborhood café. Very compact but with a special atmosphere. People from all walks of life, from musicians to birds of paradise and of every age. People have something to say here, very spontaneous, open atmosphere. Nothing is necessary, everything is possible. And that's how it should be, right?

A palace is an official building that has a public or ceremonial function. In the Palace you can commit public and ceremonial offenses at the bar. Ambiance: downright royal. Your courtesy will not be sent out until 6:00 am. As if this cake needs another icing, you are treated several times to a bowl of peanuts, saltier than the tears your dehydrated body will produce the next day. Soestdijk eat your heart out. 5/5

I came in and there were only two people there, but we came with a group of four around 1, in the end it turned out to be a really great evening, especially thanks to Gus (an employee of the café), gus really has standards and values, which I think is great important. because of him I think it has become great!!! Thank you guss you deserve a golden ticked (promotion)

Cozy neighborhood pub where you always come!

Beautiful tent. The only disadvantage is the imbalance between non-alcoholic beer and the surplus of drunk men who want attention. More beer, less annoying men!! The air fryer is a good upgrade!

Perfect!!!! Some guests can mess up the quality.

I've been twice and both times they reluctantly served a cup of tea. They didn't give a choice of flavors and the bartender pushed my friends to drink alcohol faster. This gave us an unpleasant atmosphere.

No experience with all this. I live in this neighborhood and am bothered with this nonsense because, according to you, I go from café to café and restaurant every day.

Even after finding my forgotten bag, they still lost it. Very special...

A household name in Nijmegen and indeed often the place where everyone ends their evening out. That's partly why it's always very busy! Or should I say pleasantly busy ;)

This is a nice and cozy cafe. I was here with colleagues after the dinner we had. I can imagine that it gets quite busy late at night (or early in the morning).

A real cafe, with its own unique atmosphere. Cheerful and casual, it attracts a colorful audience. Behind the bar there is no beer sommelier or barrista, but a friendly bartender. The coffee and especially the beer taste even better there.

This really is a wonderfully down-to-earth, no-frills, cozy café. Everyone is welcome as long as you relax! One of my favorite bars in Nijmegen. I'll be back soon! :)

Very cozy little brown cafe, with regular live music... great!

Here, getting drunk with other pub tigers is the order of the day (or evening). The music is danceable and the space for dancing is limited. So nice.
