Great beer choice. Very good service in the heart of the city. Loved it.

Looked like a nice cosy cafe, so popped in for a beer after a wander around the shops. Tracey was very friendly and the beers were good. They had a good selection, but I'm a lager drinker, so it was the Grolsch for me.

Poor experience. The waiter couldn't even serve us. We waited for 10 minutes or more while he served the table next to us, four women who came after us. Would not recommend!

Marco is a fantastic bar tender, and we had a fabulous time trying the delicious Nocturnum. Nocturnum reminded me of a stout, similar to Guinness

Beware Tourist Trap! 8 Euros 50 for a 3/4 pint of bang average lager what a rip off! No prices shown, woman was quite abrupt and I got the feeling she was sniggering about ripping us off! There are much cheaper bars to drink at in Amsterdam.

The coffee didn't say much, but despite this, the coffee is in a very good location and the service was impeccable. A good spot to take a break while watching the market go by.

Super nice place, great drinks and friendly team, they even brought over a book about the history of this type of bar for my friend after seeing she was interested in the decor. Really friendly and prices are the same as across the rest of the city.

Great place to sit down, chill out and have a drink. Atmosphere was great and you can have a drink on the terrace over the river. A great place for couples and larger groups of people. Lots of beers on tap as well. 🍺

Bar service is good, but a woman was so unfriendly around the bar. A friend of mine went to the restroom and picked up his beer glass without permission. I can understand if the bar is super busy, you might do it, but it wasn't. She didn't even ask me if he was finished. When he came back from the restroom, he asked, "Where's my beer?" I also took a photo of the beer glass, but unfortunately, I can't upload it. I go often, but this incident ruins the bar.

We visted this place one Monday July 2025, around night time. Very quite place and the server was nice. One of the recommended place.

A great, cozy coffee shop in a shady corner of the shopping district. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, taking their time with their customers. A good selection of local beers. A bit more expensive than elsewhere, but perfectly fine considering the location and the selection.

Very friendly women. Nice place. Some tables outside. Inside with aircondition. Prices are normal. Of course you pay a but more but you are in the central and Main passage.

Kool bar with excellent service. The bartender from Italy was very attentive and ensured the drinks kept coming. Only shame for me was they didn't have Dilerium Red available.

We had 2 beers 0.5 l Moersleutel 0.5 l Delirium €25!!! Yes, craft beer is expensive, and the location and the area also cost a bit more. But two beers for €25 is absurd. Especially since there's no drinks menu or posted prices.

Warm and welcoming pub that is an island of calm in a madding tourist sea. Maybe it was the moment I was there, but it was a particularly "chatty" pub, in good way. Very solid beer list too.

The atmosphere is very good, but the price of the beers is very high, but they are good beers.

I love the aesthetic of Cafe van Beeren but the prices and beers on tap leave something to be desired. They don’t serve vaasjes or fluitjes, but size their beers as ‘medium’ or ‘large’. I paid €8.50 for a medium Grolsch - I’d hate to think what a large costs! Also Grolsch is pretty much objectively the worst Dutch beer - the expensive price wouldn’t hurt so much if it were a Heineken or Hertog Jan… but Grolsch? Nice staff though. I like the people behind the bar.

A beautiful coffee that left a very bad taste in our mouths due to the atmosphere. It was empty when my partner and I entered, except for a group of boys (friends of the waiter) who as soon as they saw us began to harass me and provoke my partner. The waiter did absolutely nothing to stop the situation. We drank the beer (which had cost us about 7 euros each) in two gulps and left. I want to think that it was an isolated situation (which does not always happen) but we certainly will not return.

The service was excellent. This is the second time we've been back and the waiter remembered our favorite beer, which is a touch I really admire. In addition, we had a very good talk and the prices are quite affordable. Without a doubt, an experience that we will repeat.

It's a place just to enjoy beers. There isn't any food. The service is a 7. The lady who served me was a little impatient, perhaps because the place was cramped and there were several customers. Other than that, everything is fine.
