Great atmosphere and really good service. The staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome right away. The place has a nice vibe, good music, and it’s perfect both for a relaxed drink or to start the night. Definitely a spot I’d come back to

Popped in today on a whim and had some lovely conversations with Martha, Fernando and Kinga (I'm not sure of spelling, so sorry). Had a beer recommendation from Martha which was delicious (local brew too apparently!)

We only ate bitterballen but they were delicious. We always visit this café when in Amsterdam.

Typical old style, no nonsense what you see is what you get bar great location to sit and enjoy life passing by.. easy going staff that makes you feel at home

It looked cozy, but they were understaffed and it took too long, so we had to leave. They were very friendly, though.

Great experience, had a couple of beers and a herbal tea. The chicken pulled pork sandwich was a little pricey, but we're downtown, so we can get over it.

Small bar with patio, indoor and upstairs seating. Staff were great and spoke many languages. Great selection of drinks. Summer food available. Huge positive was that they had a free toilet.

Absolutely loved this quaint cafe! We stumbled upon it. When we saw the sign outside for Mulled Wine, that was it 🍷 it's not a big place, but a few levels. Very eclectic, and cozy vibe. We chose to sit upstairs in the loft. Not a really large menu for food..but we found several yummy things. Pumpkin soup, cheese toast, was perfect to enjoy our warm Mulled Wine. Service was stellar! Seems like a local favorite as well. Looking forward to another visit here..loved it 🙌

Beer looks good and reasonably priced (€7.60), and the potatoes are delicious. Small place with a second floor and an entertaining atmosphere. The attention 10/10, the guy very friendly.

We had two coffees ☕️ with milk. They served us two coffees in a large cup and a jug of milk, and a couple of delicious cookies. Sitting at a small table for two inside.

We went at 18:00 and they didn't have hot coffee. We drank Ice Americano but the taste of the coffee was very bad. However, the employees were very friendly. Since I don't drink alcohol, I have no idea about other options.

Amazing time here. Always good to down a couple of pints after a long day. Myles is an amazing bartender and super friendly guy. I recommend this bar to locols and any British and Irish people. Otherwise go to O’reilleys next door. Same fibe same love

Nice cafe, tourist attraction because it is close to the dam. There was a chlorine smell in the cafe because it had just been cleaned... Service was friendly and quick to take the order.

We were looking for a place to sit down and maybe have a drink and since my partner and I were both cold we just walked into the first café we came past and this was it. It was a magical little place, we stayed there for multiple hours and had some tomato soup and cheese toastie and drinks, just what we needed. Sitting upstairs we watched people through the big window and listened to the Christmas music, sometimes the most simple things turn out to be the most wonderful. The food was just what we needed, the staff was very sweet and I would go there again any time !

Food is good. But, staff need more training though when it comes to hospitality or service, or maybe the staff selection should be improved. Staff was talking to the customers a lot rather than focusing on getting orders or on the job. Maybe this only for some staff but can also the same for others.

A nice little cafe in the centrum near Dam Square. It wasn't we touristy as I thought it would be. We meet for coffee weekly in the area but since the weather was so bad, we went indoors to this place. Nice views from upstairs of people walking by. Service was friendly and fast. Pricier than the average Dutch bar but that's due to the location.

The place is nice but very disappointed by the behave of a waitress. I wanted to ask her something and without looking me, instantly respond “sorry I’m working”… That’s not how you should treat customers. You can be busy but should know how to deal with stress.
