Friendly staff and delicious food!

Last week we got fries and stewed beef for my daughter and me. We thought this was the best snack bar in Barneveld; really super tasty, though it could use a bit more meat for over €8, otherwise TOP.

It's such a shame again, this is the second time the griddle has been turned off well before closing time. It's a shame that everything I wanted to eat fell out, and then I had to walk back and forth for nothing. This is the second time already. Last time, it was the same guy. We called to place an order and wanted to pick it up at a certain time. But he called back later to say they were already cleaning and the griddle was being turned off, so we couldn't come back 15 minutes earlier. Tip: do your cleaning after closing.

Way too much money for what you get

We're having fries together before we go to a show. The person taking the order writes down "frikandel speciaal" instead of "patat speciaal" (fries special). We find this out when the order arrives. He apologizes and says, "Just eat the frikandel, I'm going to make fries special." He walks to the kitchen and is reprimanded by the very unfriendly woman there, and has to go get the frikandel from our table. I'm surprised, but okay. The story gets even crazier: he has to return the frikandel from the woman and order fries, and then comes to my table with the receipt. I have to pay the difference (0.55 cents). I don't want to ruin my evening out, but I think it's incredibly bad of this woman behind the counter. How customer-UNfriendly! They made a mistake. No apologies, just charging me that ridiculous 55 cents extra. Note: The young man was very friendly. This review is about the woman behind the counter.

Great staff, good atmosphere, and a fun, collaborative team. The food was ready on time when you ordered. Not too early either, but you can take it warm to go—great!

There were 2 customers and an 18 year old staff got angry that we were not allowed to eat at the Charlies and sent us away

What a bad staff is walking here a boy around 18 years old. last Saturday night who did not communicate with us normally we came in 20 minutes before closing time but had to take the ordered food with us and could not eat it there he did not say a normal word to us and exactly at half past 12 we had to go outside, which was not said in a normal way. I hope you educate your staff normally otherwise you will not see us again.

Diego is fantastic, he is very customer friendly and thinks along with the customer. He is very pleasant. He deserves a raise because he is here until half past twelve and is still pleasant.

Looks nice, but if you want to sit inside, you will be kicked out after 10 minutes because it is not a place to hang out, they say, if you choose to stay seated, you will be kicked out, the employee said.

Got fries and snacks on Sunday 1-12 and it remains a cozy place!!! Very tasty food and friendly and helpful staff! It also looks really nice, we'll keep coming back ;) Definitely recommended!

Even after moving, we will continue to come back here! Great fries and snacks and staff with a smile! Always time for personal attention, no matter how busy! The team always does its best and still runs smoothly even at peak times. Haven't seen more than a few mistakes in years! Hygiene is great! The place has been refurbished at a time when most businesses are in disrepair! Recommended for a quick yet cozy sit-down, for an ice cream or milkshake (yes! Even in winter!) or of course for an evening snack at home!

Unfortunately, I have experienced this a number of times when calling by telephone and being told by an employee. Please wait a moment. Then waited 5 minutes to call again. Then hear exactly the same thing again with the associated waiting time. Unfortunately, I already had to order elsewhere twice. Such a shame for this good, nice cafe.

One of the best hogweeds I've ever eaten

We were here the evening before King's Day and there was a very nice boy behind the counter, super friendly and helpful!

I have always eaten here for 8 years and it is still affordable. Nowadays you spend almost 15 to 20 euros for 1 person. Here you can still get fries, mayonnaise and 2 snacks for 10 euros.

Fries war for 4.35 euros Small container, sauce over the fries, no separate sauce container. (little sauce) When I said: quite expensive and I prefer sauce separately, an employee said, why don't you get it somewhere else..... not so good....

We get food there every time. Get good, full tubs of fries. quality of the food is excellent! Friendly staff. If it is busy and something is forgotten about the order (which is of course possible, we are all human) it will be resolved neatly and quickly. In short, an excellent Cafeteria with good service!

Mooie zaak, vriendelijk personeel, alleen mijn patat was te ver gebakken, was net chips, maar dat had ik al verwacht , na mijn bestelling werdt de dame opgehouden door iemand en al die tijd lag mijn friet in het vet

Goede kwaliteit en super hygiënisch

Het eten is hier heerlijk, op het moment dat ik hier zit ben ik aan het genieten van een Frappuccino milkshake speciaal. Het is een Frappuccino, maar dan als milkshake met caramel saus, nootjes en slagroom. Hoe kom je erop! Maar nog iets waarvan je denk: hoe komen ze erop? Is een loempia met een frikandel erin. Maar lekker dat het is!! Het personeel is ook altijd vrolijk en er hangt een goede sfeer. Zeker een aanrader!!

Voor ons ‘DE’ cafetaria in Barneveld. Kom er al meer dan 30 jaar (voorheen Kokkie). Vriendelijk personeel, schone zaak en lekker gebakken snacks. Zijn flexibel m.b.t. Allergie en/of dieetwensen. Ruime openingstijden. Een echte aanrader voor een ieder die in Barneveld op zoek is naar een lekkere snack! My favorites: kipburger met joppiesaus en saté met friet.

Een heel erg lekkere snackbar. Met ruime keuze. Gezellig ingericht. Voor snackbar begrippen Dan wel is waar. En zoals al eerder vermeld is het hier erg lekker eten. Ook het drinken is hier lekker. Prijs varieert van normaal tot lichtelijk aan de hoge kant. Maar niet absurd duur. Vriendelijke bediening. Met vriendelijke groeten Michael Schoch.
