Cafetaria Engelbert in Loenen en omgeving

Every year when we're on vacation in Loenen, we love this snack bar. Excellent food, fast service, and much cheaper than the snack bars back home.

Got a sundae with chocolate chips. It was also in the picture, but I got a sundae with cookie balls... a bit too expensive to properly specify what they were selling. The stroopwafel sundae was good, though.

The food wasn't great. The appetizer was terrible. The satay had no flavor. The spring roll and fries were okay. They did bring it to the patio. The appearance could also be better.

Ate here, fries, spring roll and bear claw were tasty. Crispy fries, everything cooked well and warm. For a good price, and friendly staff.

Fries were very tasty but that sauce special with owls. While I clearly ask for a lot of onions but apparently they don't get it. Just got special with very few onions

For a tasty snack this is the place in Loenen.

Good food, but if you don't want to receive your wages or, well, first an advance of 200 euros or 50 euros for 2 months and then you still have to chase your wages and then use the excuse that the accountant is busy, then go work here.

Really not edible. Smoking outings spoiled. Banana milkshake sour, strawberry milkshake tasteless. Satay sauce tasteless. Most ended up in the trash.

Got soft serve ice cream with my sons. This was really the worst ice cream this summer. When she wanted to put the specks around the children's ice cream, they needed a spoon to keep the ice cream from collapsing. Taste was watery and not creamy, it was limp and melted right away. And what a mess, weeds, cigarette butts on the floor, dirty furniture. All in all, it was my own mistake to stop here, but my sons saw a large ice cream outside.

I provide homework help to a boy around here. Unfortunately the budget no longer allows us to order pizza, so as a second choice we went to the highly rated Engelbert. We called the cafeteria in advance to place our order, but the boy who answered the phone needs a hearing aid. He couldn't understand my buddy even though he was talking very clearly. "Fries without salt you said?" It's a stupid question anyway, because there is no salt on these fries. On the phone the boy indicated that it would cost 15.95. When we arrived at Engelbert after a rough trip, the price had suddenly increased to 16.05??? Ridiculous. Soggy fries, the Chinese behind the counter is typically rude. You can't actually park there, seats are cheap, flies everywhere.

This cafeteria is a great place to order fries. The staff is nice enough and you never have to wait long. In addition, they do not make many mistakes with the order. With some recent renovations, the ugliest things in the cafeteria have been removed, such as the very outdated menu, but more could be done so that everything becomes a bit neater.

Tasteless fries, mediocrely fried. Croquettes poorly cooked, also very poor quality. The only tasty thing was the peanut sauce. Service downright grumpy.

Dość fajny regionalny fast food. Miła obsługa . Mały parking na 4 auta przy drodze. Napoje Toaleta Stoliki na dworze. Mała malownicza miejscowość.

De lekkerste friet en de lekkerste kroket uit de omgeving

Dit is onze vaste patatzaak. De laatste paar keren is de patat alleen minder lekker. Ik vermoedde dat het dan niet lang genoeg gebakken was. Nu kan ik me er bij haast en drukte best iets bij voorstellen. Maar ik haalde de laatste keer patat voor onze klussers als lunch. Ik was de enige klant. Toch smaakte de patat weer alsof het niet lang genoeg gebakken was... Ik weet dus niet zeker of dat het daadwerkelijk is, of dat iets anders zorgt dat de patat minder goed smaakt.

Centraal gelegen, makkelijk parkeren. Geen culinaire hoogstandjes, wel ruime keuze en royale porties.

Twee bereklauw saté gegeten. Qua smaak niet verkeerd, maar wel een klein gehaktballetje met aan beide uiteinden stukje frikandel. Satésaus was denk ik al oud, beetje korrelig.

Friet met halve haan gegeten in doorsnee cafetaria. Eten redelijk, men is vriendelijk en prijs is OK.

Lekker gegeten nette vriendelijke mensen

De tap ijs kan meer romig zijn dan tot nu is gebleken. Jammer dat het zo waterig is.

Vandaag er een patatje gehaald en een berenklauw, Maar nee dat doen we niet meer! Pindasaus smaakt naar droge pindakaas , en de berenklauw te hard door gebakken en de helft van de berenklauw was weg het gehakt dus! En vervangen door twee stukjes frikandel!🤔 Ook daar was de pindakaas wederom!🥴

Vandaag hier frites pindasaus, frites speciaal, frikadel speciaal en portie kipsaté. De frites is prima, fijn dat er nagenoeg geen zout op zit. ,De frikadel was ook prima. De pindasaus is niet lekker, flauw en ziet eruit of het te vaak is afgekoeld en opnieuw is opgewarmd ( klonterige drab). De kip op zich zag er goed uit maar heeft een vreemde bijsmaak. Het was smakeloos, waarschijnlijk kwam het uit de vriezer of had al langer gelegen.

Goed voor een snelle hap of afhaal.

Ein typisch Niederländisch Snackbar. Hatten pommes und Snacks dazu. Vorort gegessen und es würde uns am Tisch gebracht wie es fertig war. Alles war gut warm und nicht fettig, so alles wie es sein sollte. Alles war gut vom Geschmack.

Preis Leistung stimmt Nette Bedienung Super Essen... Nur das Ambiente sollte verschönert werden das wäre super

Nice take away place. It was open late and has quite an extensive menu. We gad the half chicken with chips and it was great value for money.
