I used to eat here 20 years ago. We were nearby and decided to check if this fry store is still around. To our surprise it is! Nicely renovated too, it’s cosy. The fries are crunchy. I can recommend the Mexicano bread. Friendly owner!

A real top chip shop! The fries were incredibly tasty. Also not expensive. For 2 people something like 14 euros including drinks. Also a lot of parking spaces in the street. Definitely try! :)

Ordered and picked up fries for 9 people. We were very satisfied with the fries and accompanying snacks. I ordered a portion of 5 chicken nuggets, and in this bag there were five free flames underneath the nuggets. Apologies to those who didn't get flames, they were very tasty.

Unfortunately, the quality of the food was disappointing. The fries were very greasy, and the grease was visibly floating in the container, which wasn't very appetizing. The prices are on the high side, especially considering the quality. The portions are large, but for me, that doesn't make up for the greasy food.

Proosdijweg 58-BAbout a month ago, I was at Friture Blauwdorp. The shop has an all-glass enclosure, which, to be honest, gave me a somewhat confined feeling—almost like being in a prison instead of a cozy chip shop. As with so many other places, they advertise "mayonnaise," but in reality, it's just fries sauce. That's a disappointment. The burgers, on the other hand, are very tasty and clearly a strong suit. The fries themselves are unfortunately a bit dry. They're certainly not factory-made fries, which is a good thing, but there are plenty of chip shops in Maastricht that do a better job. All in all, not a bad experience, but also not a place I'd specifically return for.
