Cafetaria Ricky's in Breda noord

Tasty fries and friendly staff.

Rarely have I had such amazing fries; they are super fresh and deliciously prepared. I definitely recommend coming here to eat, and the staff is also very friendly (this was back when the old owner was there).

The fries were cold and soggy.. They looked like a wet newspaper. Couldn't even manage a smile. A waste of money.

Friendly people, and the food is delicious. The fries are nice and crispy. There was a special menu today with vegan noodles or nasi instead of the fries platter. A pleasant surprise because it tastes delicious!

Used to be my favorite chip shop, but since the new owners, the quality has deteriorated significantly. The fries aren't crispy, and the delicious satay sauce from the past is unfortunately no longer sold.

Delicious fries, ready quickly, what more could you want!

One of the better fries places in Breda, and I know quite a few.

The new owners are very friendly and work hard. The fries and snacks were also incredibly tasty!

Update: the fries are back to being really good. I tried various chip shops in the neighborhood, but none of them appealed to me. You can ignore the comments below about the fries. Ricky’s used to be unique because they had hand-cut fries. The new owners have stopped doing that and use factory-made fries that you find everywhere. The fries were the only thing worth it, because the snacks are average and the atmosphere is like a mortuary. The only thing that might make me return are the burgers. They are a good size and taste. The new owners are friendly and they work hard.

Best fries in our neighborhood (Belcrum). Freshly cut. Recently changed owners. But still the same formula/menu (thankfully!) We eat large fries with two adults and two toddlers. I highly recommend the house croquette, veggie croquette, and hamburgers. The latter are grilled, good portions, and good quality. 10x better than McDonald's for reasonable prices. Keep in mind that there may be a longer wait for your order on Friday evenings and weekends. Ordering through the website is also quite easy. It takes about 30 to 40 minutes from order time. The atmosphere inside is simple, clean, and tidy.

For years, our favorite chip shop with fresh, crispy fries, but since the new owners, they've been hard to come by. The fries are soggy and have deteriorated. However, they still advertise "fresh, homemade fries." We tried several times after the takeover, but after yet another mediocre experience, we're looking elsewhere. The icing on the cake was that there were exactly five drops of Joppie sauce on the fries.

I tried ordering from here for the first time last week, and it was delicious! The fries were nice and crispy, and there were plenty of snack options! The staff are friendly and hardworking!

Nothing changed from how it has always been. Good takeover!

French fries should be made from large potatoes, not baby potatoes. Sorry, but my fries were 95% 1-2 cm pieces

delicious and lots of variety to try. memorable cheese sticks and xxl frikandel. owners are very nice and friendly, left with a full stomach!

Unfortunately, these fries changed after the takeover. It was the best fries in the area but doesn't taste very good anymore. The characteristic frying taste of good fries is gone. Tastes more like oven fries now. No idea what exactly has changed, and the new owners are super nice, but unfortunately we are looking for someone else.

Delicious fresh fries, well cooked! The snacks are also delicious and well baked. The stew is super delicious! Very soft and tender and a delicious taste! Highly recommended! And what sweet and friendly people!

Delicious fries and snacks, friendly staff, good service!

Fast, good service and delicious food

What a good cafeteria, delicious fries and snacks great👍👍

Always good fries from real potatoes

The home-made fries are delicious! Thank you for the tip that the fries are quite filling, one small one was more than enough. The service is great, warm and friendly people who are genuinely interested. Tip from the owner: 'smashed fries'! ;) we will definitely come back!

Delicious home-cut fries, friendly service, something for everyone. Variant or homemade croquette are recommended.

I really don't understand what people think is so great about this. Very greasy hard brown fries. We gave them a second chance after a year, but it is exactly the same as then. Never again now.

Nice and cozy cafeteria with tasty fries and snacks.

Great place, super food, friendly staff, home made fries. Child friendly place. We love to go there!

Very good fries...for me the best in Breda and the surrounding area...friendly people...

For me, Cafeteria Ricky's is the best chip shop in Breda, certainly worth 5 stars

Super tasty fries, fast and good service. You can tell from the crowds how popular they are and how good the fries are. House croquette is highly recommended!

Good chip shop with freshly cut fries.

Haven't had such tasty fries in a while 👏

Delicious farmer's fries. With fresh home-cut fries. Reason to cycle a bit

Delicious fresh fries, good service and nice people

After a long search for a good chip shop in the area. Have we found one? Great fries!

Good and fresh food, nice service

Delicious fries and good service!!!

Good service, tasty fresh fries and homemade snacks.

Via Social Deal hier terecht gekomen, gezins zak friet,4 Kroketten, satesaus, mayo. Klein tent.

Leuk hoekje on te zitten. Goede maaltijden!

Verse huisgemaakte friet. Smaakt altijd super. Let even op: betaald parkeren.

Goede prijzen, vlotte bediening.

Geweldige lekker friet en bijbehoren

Goede kwaliteit. Vlotte bediening

Heerlijke friet VERS leuk tentje
