Friet & Zo Breda in Breda zuid

If you're in Breda, you really have to go eat fries here. Simply delicious!

Normally my favorite chip shop. But what I got today missed the mark. I ordered a small portion of fries with stew and mayo, €4.50, a reasonable price. And then I get this. There are more pieces of meat in my diarrhea than on these fries. Very disappointed.

Large portions, delicious fries, great satay sauce

Tasty fries and snacks. Fast service and food well packaged

Delicious fries, cut on the spot from fresh potatoes. People with a love for fries!

On my uncle's recommendation, I made a special detour to enjoy a delicious portion of fries, beef stew, and a Burgundian croquette here. You can sit down to eat here, although it isn't very spacious (so not practical for large groups or a big family). I don't know if there is a terrace when the weather is nice? The staff is very friendly and quick. If I am in the area, I will definitely stop by again.

Thanks Indy, the fries were tasty!

The fries were still raw and had barely any stewed meat on them. The sauce served separately with the special was also a bit disappointing.

I walked into Friet enzo unsuspecting, looking for fries with mayonnaise. What I didn't know was that I was about to have a spiritual experience that you normally only get after eating three oversized kapsalons and a half-liter of Red Bull. Behind the counter stood Reza. And let me be completely honest: at first, I thought he was either a mascot, or that a meatloaf had grown life-sized and decided to take a side job. That man… he just *looks* like a meatloaf. Even his gaze was slightly crisp. The display case was full, but the meatloaves… my god. They gleamed. They sparkled. They looked almost proud because Reza had handed them out personally as if they were his nephews. I asked for just one meatloaf, but Reza looked at me as if I had just asked for his relative. He placed it in the fryer with so much love that for a moment I thought: “A baptismal name is going to be involved soon.” The taste? Perfect. An outer layer so crispy I almost wanted to apologize. An inside so juicy that for a moment I thought I was eating the winning meatloaf from a talent show. And quite honestly: if Reza ever had to choose a lookalike, this is him. When I paid, Reza said: Was everything to your liking? I could only answer: “You and that meatloaf… you two should take a family portrait.” In short: Go for the fries, stay for the meatloaf, and admire Reza, the only man in the world who looks fantastic as… well… a perfectly fried meatloaf.

Awesome, the tastiest and coziest fries place in Breda. I go here every day after school or during a break. And it never disappoints. When we go, we often hang around for a very long time.

The fries were really delicious. During the war, the mayo and onion were separated from the satay sauce—which I personally didn't like. The satay sauce itself was quite spicy, but I actually liked that. The mayo is a bit fresher (sour) than the average snack bar, but it was acceptable. The Frikandel Speciaal wasn't cut open, which was a bit of a shame. The same went for the bag of fries for 5 people: it was really meager and too little. I had to throw another bag in the air fryer at home to feed the group.

Good cafeteria, excellent quality, delicious taste, the best snack on the menu is the Reza, super tasty, wonderful to enjoy

Super friendly and fast help! :)

A truly great chip shop. Worth the detour. Special mention for the half-chicken menu. A generous portion of salad, both hussars and vegetables. And the icing on the cake: a bowl of applesauce. The only minor complaint is that the chicken is sprinkled with chicken seasoning without asking after frying. Just ask for it from now on, as far as I'm concerned. It's made perfect with the delicious fries they make here. Compliments!

Friet & Zo is the best at Boeimeer! Fast service, always friendly, and the food is always top-notch. The cheeseburger is a real must-have 🍔😋

Good fries and tasty snacks. And the reza is also great.

Very friendly staff! The fries were nice and crispy, and the snacks were well-cooked. Great food for a reasonable price.

The fries were great. Reza at the counter is fantastic.

Good day, I have a question for you, as I can't find your email address anywhere. I'd like to know what kind of frying oil you use for frying? Due to allergies. Thanks in advance. Sincerely, Rachel

Simply a good chip shop. One of the better ones I've been to in years. Definitely recommended if you're craving fries or snacks. Enjoy!

A family-sized bag of fries on the weekend is significantly smaller than during the week. The fries are otherwise "decent," but too often reheated/fried multiple times. The fryer (a somewhat portly man in his 40s) probably drinks vinegar and is utterly grumpy. Not a good example for this establishment. All in all, the fries are decent, but there's room for improvement.

Personeel, waren erg druk bezig met hun mobiel, en jongelui aan de bar.

Well.. it's a snackbar. And that's exactly what it is. But service is more than what you would expect. Very nice people.

A must try if visiting, fries are perfectly cooked, all the snacks are wonderful and staff very friendly.

Fries are okay, phone is answered and asked to be patient and then the phone is simply not answered again. This has happened to me 3 times already and I have been on hold for half an hour now.

The food looks very well cared for in the display cases. It also tastes great and fortunately the sauces are also of good quality (oliehoorn)

Delicious fries and very nice people in the service 👌

Great french fries, but personally you need to ask for "doorbakken" or well done in english. That's my taste, don't want to generalise, but given others review you should 😀. The cafetaria is clean wellanaged and green oriented (near zero plastic) so that's a big plus. The cafetaria is still one of the best around. Update June 2025. Still very positive and popular

What good fries and stew. You are helped well and quickly. And affordable Chapeau

As a milkshake lover, you can still get a good, thick shake here for a reasonable price. Definitely my first choice.

They serve delicious chicken burgers

Well cared for. Neat fries satay mayonnaise on a plate, cutlery etc. Very friendly.

Just got fries here again! Really the last time. No taste, almost no salt on it. The satay sauce was much too dark and too strong in taste. Bamihap barely had anything in it or taste. And cramps and stomach ache all evening! NEVER again 👎🏻

Really bad service, when we came in, when we ordered, we were immediately looked at strangely and as soon as we ordered, they told us we had to eat somewhere else.

Very neat chip shop, good fries. Reasonably large portions so you certainly won't go hungry. All in all, definitely recommended. And you certainly can't beat the price. Price-quality ratio is very good and customer friendliness is their top priority.

Quality is excellent. Tasty fries, snacks are good. Milkshakes are perfect. Friendly staff, the place looks neat.

Not much atmosphere inside, and the fries weren't that tasty this time: I thought they were a bit mealy (I normally like them). The snacks are fine, and the service is good too; always friendly and, even when really busy, the order is ready fairly quickly.

Very busy, small space, but fries and snacks tasted great.

2nd time in a short time that the fries were unedible, half of both fries were very hard and I think they had been fried several times and the rest did not look very appetizing. A waste of money dumpster meal. I have been coming here for years with great satisfaction, but now it has stopped! I hope the quality returns.

Nicest cafeteria ever seen, excellent food and super nice staff

Bad limp fries. Very small portions. Also received an incomplete order. And this while the business was not busy.

Very neat chip shop, nice service.

Incredibly greasy fries, no salt on them: indicate that they serve fries without salt. Very strange. Snack croquette was not cooked properly, the inside was not warm. Bah

Super tasty fries and friendly staff

Nice meal, nice place, neat and clean, small tip: make your own peanut sauce, we came by with the camper from Spain, see you next time!

Goede kwaliteit en goed personeel 👍

Fantastisch goeie bami beuker! Aanrader

Fantastische frietje eten. Altijd super hygiënisch. Erg vriendelijk personeel.

No nonsense Nederlandse friettent.

Prima ! Kom zeker terug!

Heerlijke frietjes en zo en nette zaak vriendelijk mensen wij komen zeker terug bedankt

Best snack bar ever. Very friendly. The place is so clean. I recommend this place +++ We will definitely come back. Best snack bar in Breda.

Verbluffend goede kwaliteit!

Wij komen hier graag.

Mooi en nette friettent. Prima friet en snacks voor normale prijzen. Aanrader!
