I wouldn't get snacks here. Quality is mediocre. Cutting frikandel and Mexicano before it goes into the fryer makes a snack very greasy. You shouldn't do that. Fries are decent. But not more than that. Duration.

Best snack bar in Amsterdam. Much too expensive, but that depends on Dutch politics. Nowadays fries and fries cost €3.50 everywhere. I've never paid 8 bucks for a cup of fries with mayonnaise before... 😖

Come here regularly and are always very satisfied. Good food, good quality and especially the older gentleman is always very friendly.

I found the service stiff and stingy. 1 burnt snack with nasty peanut sauce thrown on it. And 1 shawarma roll that was swimming in the container of frying fat so that there was even a hole in the container. And extra napkins to remove the frying fat from the shawarma roll. I got it with difficulty and they look at you strangely. And too stingy to give extra napkins. Both came home feeling sick and for a strange amount of €9.25. Never again. Beware of food poisoning there.

Good service and it was quite pleasant

Delicious fries and snacks and always friendly staff, we eat here regularly and it is always a party.

I ate there twice and both times were really delicious. The fries are tasty and the satay sauce even better. Nice people with also the option to eat outside. It is also clean. I say DO IT. Wendy

No shawarma in a shawarma tent in the evening. Unacceptable! Then put pieces of bone in the wrap with chicken. Fries are okay.

We have been there several times now and each time we received a very unpleasant welcome. No customer friendliness, the fries were old and re-fried, so they were perceived as a hard piece of plastic. Only small pieces as if this was the last bit out of the bag. For the prices they have, they should pay more attention to the food, and a little more customer friendliness wouldn't hurt. Didn't see me there again!

Great business. Had a conversation with the owner and has been running this business for over 30 years. Good quality sandwiches and snacks and good organization in general. I see a lot of negative reactions from different people, but I must emphasize that this is not the case. I think people complain too much and are not realistic. Eat your fries at Loetje if you want luxury. It's not a five star restaurant. I recommend everyone to get a shawarma sandwich, fries and milkshake here!

Food is great! People are nice and friendly and the fries are freshly prepared.

Went to eat twice. Last time I had already ordered and was waiting for the food with the children. The gentleman had heard and addressed me as "ma'am." When the food was ready he shouted loudly "sir" and pointed to the food that I could take. A few people in the shop started to chuckle. I looked at him and he said quite sarcastically "Oh, sorry ma'am" What an incredible...... Don't know what he was trying to do. It's that my children were there otherwise I would have walked away. Second time, you can be as friendly and cheerful as you want. The gentleman is very grumpy, barely speaks Dutch and there is no thank you or goodbye. Really, so glad that we normally don't have to rely on that snack bar.

I would never want anything else. I wish this for everyone.

Priem, nice cup of fries, I don't understand all those bad reviews. It's a snack place, don't cry that it's bad.

I've known this case all my life, now 48. It's been bad all my life. Bad service, uninterested staff and even misogynistic. My mother has told me about this several times.

These people do not adjust their times on Google. It says on the internet that it is open, but when you get there after driving 10 km, it is closed. Never again for me

I personally thought the food was really bad, the service was unpleasant, especially when we said that the food was really unpalatable. I will never go there again, this was the first but also the last time I have been there

Okay food, rude to customers. Would you like to eat it here or take it with you? Clean snack bar, wide choice and friendly staff, especially the owner. Fries can sometimes be cooked a little better, but they are always delicious, especially the "zinger" burger with cheese and of course my favorite, the frikandel special with curry! Atmosphere... there is little atmosphere to be had in a snack bar... but still 5 because I don't expect that from a snack bar.

Fries are quite expensive. 4.25 Mayonnaise Curry. I doubt if the fries are fried separately from the snacks (pork) My whole face has irritation that wasn't there yesterday.

Al jaren haal ik hier mijn frietjes. Altijd lekker goudbruin gefrituurd en alles daarnaast ook de kaassouflés, frikadellen, bamischijven etc. precies goed gefrituurd.

Lekker eten en gezellig en vriendelijk personeel

Duur. Matige kwaliteit. Onvriendelijk. Serveert drie kwartier voor sluitingstijd geen eten meer, ook geen afhaal.

Niet echt een goedkope snackbar....

Het is wat je verwacht: een snackbar op een hoekje. Personeel is vriendelijk & snel, de zaak wat gedateerd. Het is een prima plek voor een snelle hap. Patat wordt in een zak gedaan met de saus er bovenop, dat is niet heel handig. Verder zijn de kroketten en berenhappen lekker.

Leuke tent alleen moet je heel lang wachten totdat je patat komt! Wel lekkere patat en frikadellen alleen wel een lange wachttijd! Verder top!

Prima kroketten maar patatje oorlog meenemen is schandalig, saus wordt in de zak gedaan waardoor je een gore boel krijgt. Foto zegt genoeg.

Leuk, gezellig hoekje. Heerlijke patat, shoarma, kroket etc..

Friet is echt dikke prima. Maar die gasten die daar werken.... tis bijna te aso voor woorden. Lijkt wel of je in een soort foute grap zit... die hebben er echt geen zin in. Levensmoe. Neerbuigend en totaal niet geïnteresseerd dat je er komt eten. Maar de friet... prima. Dus t is een afweging. Wat vind je belangrijker...

Lang open, goede snacks, lekker om af en toe een groot softijsje voor jezelf te kopen. (Als de machine werkt)

Tja een snackbar waar de kwaliteit redelijk tot goed is. De zaak ziet er uit of hij in 1985 is geopend...en daarna is er nooit meer wat aan gedaan.

Beetje prijzig en niet echt gezellig

Ik moest hier vandaag even in de buurt zijn. Even een snel frietje met gepakt hier en opgegeten in de auto. Smaakte prima, genoeg zout, lekkere mayo en een mooie portie. Aardige mannen, je kunt het hier krijgen zoals je het hebben wilt.

Gewone snackbar, hygiëne ietsje minder en vond persoonlijk de kapsalon behoorlijk tegen vallen. Voor een reguliere snack of friet is de tent prima zat.
