Corner has improved significantly since the renovation. The food has gone up a notch. Before, you always had soggy fries and bad meat. I love coming back now because of the atmosphere and the food. The food isn't as greasy anymore, and the service is excellent. I would always stop by if I were in the area.

Paid €28 for two sandwiches (less than a quarter filled with meat) and one pair of fries. Because this price seemed absurdly high, I politely called to ask if the price was correct. Instead of a proper explanation, I was met with a rude response. Very unfriendly, completely uncustomer-oriented, and downright disrespectful. Poor portions, ridiculous price, and then also poor service. Absolutely not recommended. Hence the 2.9 stars.

You will be warmly welcomed immediately if you think you are hungry, then I would order a raspatat. Within 2 minutes you will be enjoying a delicious warm raspatat. Recommended for everyone. I will definitely come back.

We had arrived in NL from Spain 20 minutes earlier (midnight) on a cold day, with everything closed, but we found this place. We ordered some house fries and they were delicious. Excellent service and good vibes!

I got something here once a few years ago: fries and a Hamburger. I got a huge portion of fries, which I hadn't asked for. When I asked why I got such a large portion, the person said, "We always order everyone a large portion, and the Halburger was dry."

Homophobic staff. We came here for a bite to eat after going out across the street, and suddenly, in the middle of our meal, the (presumably) owner told us to leave because they were closing. We finished our food outside, only to see them continue taking orders and preparing food. We weren't being annoying or drunk, so judging by the dirty looks we were already receiving from the staff, you can imagine why they lied and sent us away.

Went here a few years back and was scammed and verbally/physically assaulted. The owner is a psycho scammer and will try to get you to pay for things you didn't order and if you refuse he will call in his son to be the enforcer. They will physically trap you in the store, yell at you and even ruff you up until you pay.

Me and my friend got ill from the fries we had here recently, had to throw up the same night. It looked like they were being cooked in very old oil.

The mayonnaise tastes like bad semen. 3 minutes later and you have a quality snack bar. This is known as the worst snack bar in Amsterdam.

Make sure you see what you pay, owner does not show amount on machine and so you are ripped off. Too expensive and poor quality anyway. Just walk on but fries fries further on!

I ended up paying 37 euros for a meal that is worth a maximum of 25 euros. Also no garlic sauce with the Turkish pizza?

This guy reluctantly throws in a frikandel 5 minutes before closing time. And it's nice that it is. Terrifying frikandel special, I haven't eaten them as good as here in a long time. Several times in the past the fries were cold by the time I got them, but what an improvement. Fries war that we ordered earlier in the evening, also very illegally delicious. Very good improvement compared to a few years ago.

Bad burger, does not get orders right at all. Cashier did care and did not pay attention to the order. Burger meat is like paper. Additional undisclosed fees. So many good meals I've had in Amsterdam. This tho is by far the worst.

We were not allowed to eat inside, but had to eat it outside. The dirtiest kapsalon I have ever had, the meat tasted like cinnamon goulash. The frikandel special tasted very chemically. Sorry

A good place if you want to feel cheated. Large fries count for a bag of medium fries, small containers of sauce as if you ordered it delivered to your home and rancid pictures on the wall of yellowed sandwiches of misery. Even for the last snack bar towards the west, this is nothing but food for whining.
