Me and my friend got ill from the fries we had here recently, had to throw up the same night. It looked like they were being cooked in very old oil.

Way too expensive for what you get, even McDonalds is 100x better

The taste is not good and is not recommended

The mayonnaise tastes like bad seed. 3 minutes further and you have a quality snack bar. This is known as the worst snack bar in Amsterdam.

Make sure you see what you pay, the owner does not show the amount on the machine and you will be scammed. Too expensive and poor quality anyway. Just keep walking, fries fries further down!

I ended up paying 37 euros for a meal that is worth a maximum of 25 euros. Also no garlic sauce with the Turkish pizza?

This guy reluctantly throws in a frikandel 5 minutes before closing time. And it's nice that it is. Terrifying frikandel special, I haven't eaten them as good as here in a long time. Several times in the past the fries were cold by the time I got them, but what an improvement. Fries war that we ordered earlier in the evening, also very illegally delicious. Very good improvement compared to a few years ago.

The staff were rude and unwelcoming, making the experience uncomfortable.

Got food poisoning from something as simple as a cheese soufle and/or chicken corn. Stay away, Joe

The food is utter garbage. But I have to say the food is also disgusting.

Bad burger, does not get orders right at all. Cashier did care and did not pay attention to the order. Burger meat is like paper. Additional undisclosed fees. So many good meals I've had in Amsterdam. This tho is by far the worst.

Ordered fries and a cheeseburger... both were not good... no quality and tasted terribly bad... The hygiene of that place is also not up to standard...

This place is awful. Prices are high, food is below average and the service is hell. The cashier was unbearable. It was the only thing opened during night so I guess it's ok, but would never recommend in any other situation

Unique so bad. Walk 2 minutes further and you have much better snack bar. I came here again today (12-02-24) to give it another chance. I think this place can honestly claim to be the worst snack bar in Amsterdam. Congratulations, you pancake bunch! 14-09-2024 Still rude and of poor quality.

We were not allowed to eat inside, but had to eat it outside. The dirtiest kapsalon I have ever had, the meat tasted like cinnamon goulash. The frikandel special tasted very chemically. Sorry

A good place if you want to feel cheated. Large fries count for a bag of medium fries, small containers of sauce as if you ordered it delivered to your home and rancid pictures on the wall of yellowed sandwiches of misery. Even for the last snack bar towards the west, this is nothing but food for whining.

15 euros for 2 fries + 1 chicken corn because that's the market. According to the seller

The fries are mediocre, a bit soggy, lukewarm, not well done. I was already in doubt about going here, but was persuaded by the craving for a greasy bite. Regret it now. I knew this place was really mediocre but I thought, let me try again. Never again people. Nothing has changed in the last 10 years. The guy behind the bar was nice, but you can still be so nice, but of course I'm coming for your golden fries.

Way too much money for a way too mediocre sandwich. It's that I was drunk and desperate for a late night snack, but next time I'll wander a bit further....

Substandard food. Bad service where "accidentally" too many 0 is entered at checkout. €276 for two half-baked fries and a lukewarm kapsalon is a bit high. Returning the excess payment afterwards is very difficult. In short; Not recommended.

What a disappointment. I've been coming here every now and then for twenty years to get some delicious fries. Ordered again this time. Got a regular fries. When I asked about it I got a big mouth (from the owner's son). After twenty years I decided that I will never come back here.

Family business. Irresistible until 4am for the 'chees[!]burger' and - yay! - Variety fries. Classic!

Ordered from the on Uber Eats but I think they turned off reviews on there. Terrible food. Kabob was burnt. Fries are oily and the oil tastes old and rancid. Don’t order from them.

Very expensive for what you get (11 euro for a kapsalon, 5 for a broodje frikandel speciaal). There is plenty of better places in the neighbourhood.

Deze heren hebben ons om 4.30 in de ochtend nog een heerlijk frietje bezorgd. Ook al waren ze gesloten, toch wouden ze ons nog helpen aan een lekkere maaltijd. Top service!

Erg duur voor een paar patatjes die niet goed doorbakken en helaas weinig smaakvol waren en een kroket die dat juist weer te veel was. Eerlijk gezegd niet vaak zo slecht gegeten bij een snackbar.

Net een lekker milkshake gehaald en NOOIT last gehad van een agressief man in de afgelopen 18 jaar. Hij is juist heel erg aardig/bescheiden en rustig.

Very overpriced. And weird. The dude also shouted my friend's name through the restaurant after he left a bad review and they apparently immediately found out. Kinda intimidating. We paid 26 euros for 2 kapsalon with basically only fries, meat and lettuce and one coke.

Aggressive from the moment I came in, not the first time. The reviews don't seem to make much of a difference to the owners. But it will backfire at some point. I sincerely hope that this place will go bankrupt or will be sold to people who want to make something valuable out of it. Shame on you.

Enige snackbar die snachts weekend open is, daar spelen ze slim op in. Eten slechte kwaliteit, patat lijkt wel opnieuw gebakken zeer taai. Prijzen ook aan hoge kant.

Lekker gegeten en vriendelijke medewerkers. Er werkt ook een erg vriendelijke dame! Zeker een aanrader!!

Kapot lekkere turkse pizzas, alrijd lekker

We went there because it was the only place we found out to be open at the time. The food was really tasty and the prices were neither high nor low. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the cook wasn’t even wearing gloves.. so not the cleanest place I’ve ever seen.

Onbeschoft personeel die met een stalen gezicht 4,60 durft te vragen voor een patat met. Geen aardige mensen en naar mijn idee oplichters!

omdat de prijzen vd patat frites niet zijn aangegeven vroeg ik wat een patatje oorlog kost:4euro 30, in de binnen stad heb je een paar hele chique hipster plekken waar ze ook wel tegen de drie euro durven te vragen voor een portie patat, maar dan is ie van een ingewikkelde ras-aardappel die een dag van te voren vers wordt gesneden, voorgebakken en dan 24 uur tussen de gestreken lakens moet rusten zodat ie allen van binnen zo zacht is en van buiten zo knapperig zonder zn aardappelsmaak te verliezen...... maar hier proberen ze bijna voor een tientje ( in ouwerwetse guldens) voor een zak met diepvries product te vragen.... Toen ik zei dat ik mn geld dan liever ergens anders besteedde en vertrok werd ik buiten achterna gevolgd door een andere medewerker die vroeg wat ik nou eigenlijk wilde, ik zei: "een patatje oorlog maar niet voor 4euro dertig", waarop hij begon te schreeuwen dat ik blij moest zijn omdat ze toch al dichtgingen (wat een leugen is omdat ze al jaren 1vd langst openblijvende snackbars in Amsterdam west zijn) en dat ik dan maar op moest rotten, in redelijk gebrekkig Nederlands en zeer agressieve toon.

Ik zou mensen echt willen ontmoedigen om hierheen te komen. Ik kwam hier met mn vriend om even snel wat te lunchen. Mijn vriend bestelde een turkse pizza, en ik een vegetarische turkse pizza. Ik vond in mijn VEGA optie meerdere verdwaalde stukjes shoawarma, dus de man die hier werkte nam het niet zo heel nauw met mijn dieet voorkeuren. Ook onnodig duur: 9,90EU voor twee turkse pizza (waarvan een zonder vlees dus dat stelt al helemaal weinig voor).
