Disgraceful service here. Ordered food, but two hours later it still hadn't arrived. Called, too few delivery drivers. No apology, they hung up. Clearly too busy and the company's management is broken. Unbelievable.

I've been ordering here for years and always thought it was by far the best snack bar in De Meern and the surrounding area! Lately, however, the wait times have been getting really long, but today took the cake. We had to wait two hours for an order. They hung up the phone when we asked about it. Half our order was missing, and when we finally went to ask, the woman behind the counter started yelling that it was busy and that we should never come back. Well, that's obvious! You won't see us again! Absolutely scandalous!

I ordered large special fries, but they came without sauce. I called and they said they would deliver them later. I expected a new special fries. Fifteen minutes later, a guy brought just a container of sauce, even though my fries had cooled down and it was a 700m (2-minute) bike ride away. What great service! And the frikandel mammoth special had 85% mayo and 15% curry sauce. Pretty impressive, actually.

It is a perfect Cafeteria, the garlic fries and special frikandel that I always order are always delicious 🥰 the frikandel croquettes and cheese soufflé all come from Kwekkeboom

I placed an order on Sunday, which included large fries and hogweed peanut sauce. The order was delivered quickly (half an hour). The fries were a regular size, and I called about it. They promptly addressed the issue and delivered another regular size. In the meantime, I opened the bag of hogweed... well, sorry, but all I saw was burnt onion, not a nice raw onion, just like in the attached photos! I placed an order for over 25 euros, but I expect that to be okay... the fries were also more raw than cooked. I've been a customer for years, but if this happens again, you'll lose a customer! Too bad, I was always very satisfied.

Good bar stools, you can get Duke Jan and Heineken beer, and it has good sandwiches and fast service.

The food was certainly good, and neatly brought to the table... But the only point is that at the cafe next door a man spoke to another visitor and action was not taken very quickly..

Something is often forgotten about your order, and you have to return it. Then you are not looked at, you have to explain that you called about a missing snack in your order and you are not looked at when handing over the snack. No excuses, nothing. The snacks and fries are fine. Not fantastic.

Pick up is easy. Good quality and not an absurdly long waiting time. I would strongly advise against delivery. You never know how long you have to wait. The last time I waited 1.5 hours, while the employee on the phone had indicated a much shorter waiting time. That's not nice when you're hungry

I've been ordering fries here for years. But we have already noticed in recent months that waiting times are getting longer and longer. But this week I had to wait 1.5 hours for an order for 11 people. After the first phone call the order was packed, on the second phone call there was a problem in the kitchen and the order had not yet been packed. Apologies were out of the question. The food is just good, the service and management within the cafeteria are just bad It was the last time we ordered fries here.

Became more expensive, delivery incomplete. No compensation. And not the 1st time. Good luck with the business. We don't order anymore.

A cafeteria to forget. Order not delivered and they do not have the decency to report that there is an issue. Whatever that issue may be. In short: rude and thoughtless. And then I express myself softly. Money gone, I call this theft. Last time for me at this cafeteria.

Ordered food regularly… But lately it's been really bad. Chicken satay was always tender and lots of satay sauce, tried the chicken satay again today, but the chicken is so tough and hard pieces. Satay sauce is almost nothing you get. If you order fries you will receive half cups. Ordered fried potatoes, there was really so little in the bag.. Or they sometimes forget something. Do you have to call again to tell them they forgot something again? And it's not all that cheap. No more square for us for the time being.

As a regular customer for many years and a loyal customer, I would now like to say something about it. In recent years, the quality of the products and the service of the employees has fallen far "below standard". Last night was enough for me. Delivery times have been 1.5 to 2 hours for a long time, for a few fried fries and snacks. If I call after 75 minutes after ordering to find out where my order is and get the answer; yes it is busy (who isn't busy these days?) but it arrived in 20 minutes and then took 75 minutes to be delivered, this was my last order. Limp, lukewarm and undercooked chips and snacks. We're done with it. The very best operator.

Friendly staff, order was ready quickly, but fries are nothing to write home about. Satay sauce seems so boring to Brinta and don't forget to explicitly ask for outings during your war. Call me spoiled, but I expected more.

Just drive here if you're otherwise forced to get quality food. At least here you will be full if you order 10eu worth of food.

Fixed snack bar, always good crispy, light fries, snacks always top notch and sauces are tasty. Even with small fries you get a big fry. 100x better and cheaper than the junk from the quality shops.

First a voicemail, left a message, no call back. Later I called again. Passed on the list, food would be ready in 20 minutes. So that was 40 minutes. When you get home, there is not enough snack in the bag. And if you have snacks that look alike, put something on the bag so you can tell them apart so that people don't bite into the wrong one... No, we don't do this anymore.

After 9 years the quality is still top notch. It's amazing how these people do it.

I don't recommend the shawarma/gyros fries to everyone, they used to be very tasty. The last time I ordered here. Ordered fresh fries and gyros with garlic sauce (according to the site). Raspatat was limp and undercooked, gyros was dry and tough and to top it all off, they had forgotten the garlic sauce.

If you order by telephone or online, it goes quite smoothly and the food is nice and hot. Fries generally nice and crispy.

Nothing special, just an average chip shop. It is always busy and you always have to wait a long time. It's not the staff's fault, they always seem to work very efficiently and as quickly as they can.

There's something special about Cafe Her Pleintje--its staff. All staff members speak English with good proficiency, so my order is always served to temperature, quickly, and with a smile. The food selection is "typical Dutch cafeteria" style. You may order take away, delivery service or eat-in. There is an adjoining bar, serving soft drinks, beer, and wine. Sporting events are typically broadcast for sports fans to enjoy. If you're looking for a fancy meal, this isn't it. However, if you like a Dutch cafeteria snack, the pomme frites, loempia and sandwiches are tasty.

't Pleintje (or Het Pleintje) is an average 'Dutch Cafeteria' style restaurant. I want to give it more than 4 stars because the staff is so friendly, attentive and helpful. Most staff members speak English and can help you discover exactly what you'd like. The menu is diverse in and voluminous. You can order anything from Belgian-style frites and a hamburger or toastie to entrees with noodles. Our family enjoys coming here for a snack. The food is always cooked fresh and to temperature. There's also a small bar on site which serves beer, wine and soft drinks. It often shows popular sporting events.
