Calaboose in Kralingen-Crooswijk

Speciaal voor kerst gereserveerd. Op de dag van kerstavond kreeg ik een e-mail met het bericht dat het een foutje was dat mijn reservering er doorheen was gekomen en dat er geen tafeltje vrij was voor ons. Waar vind je op kerstavond nog een tafeltje voor de dag erna? Het bleef bij een simpele sorry. Een reactie op verdere vragen heb ik niet gekregen. Tot mijn verbazing kreeg ik op eerste kerstdag een herinnering voor mijn reservering, en vervolgens vandaag de vraag of ik mijn ervaring wil delen nav de reservering. Bij deze. Zwaar teleurgesteld in de manier van communiceren, de simpele sorry zonder enige vorm van compensatie en de klantonvriendelijkheid.

Little food for a lot of money. Not really the Indian atmosphere.

This was hands down one of the best Indonesian dinners I had in a while. The only downside was that i ate too much :) The service was great!

Ondanks het enthousiasme van het aardige bedienend personeel zat er toch een lelijke kink in de serviceverlening: men was niet alert op het bijvullen van de glazen en de tafelbediening haperde. Om alles moest gevraagd worden. Er vielen grote gaten tussen de gangen. De menukaarten gaven een rommelige aanblik en was het lastig er een samenhangend geheel in te ontdekken, Het eten was maar net voldoende. De keuken was overduidelijk onderbemand. Bijna alle gerechten hadden dezelfde moeilijk te definiëren drassige bijsmaak. Ik hoopte op de pittige variant van de Indische keuken. In plaats daarvan genoten we een matige, wat slappe uitvoering. De saté babi daarentegen was dan wel weer wel in orde.

Wij waren met zijn drieën en hadden gekozen voor het vegetarische vijfgangen menu. Behalve dat we een gang met vis kregen voorgeschoteld, was de smaak van het eten gewoon niet goed en waren de porties minimaal. Dat terwijl de prijzen stevig zijn. Al met al een ervaring die zeer zeker niet voor herhaling vatbaar is, ondanks het personeel dat enthousiast was en zijn best deed.

Super tasty modern Indonesian twist. Recommended

Food was below mid (we got tomatoes as a starter) portions were narrow and albertheijn microwave meal tier. Server was cool and gave a good dab up, hence the 2 stars.

We came in spontaneously, were helped nicely and guided to the garden. Ordered a 3 course menu 4x, so it is a shared dining system. Extra bao bun filled (4 for €32 😩) overpriced. And gado gado and 1 bowl of extra nasi (we only got 2 bowls for 4 people). 2 water and 2 ginger beer. €200 incl. €10 tip. Food was great but the price is really too high. That's why we won't be back anytime soon.

Ate here with friends yesterday. The cocktails were delicious, but the food was very disappointing. The portions were super small and really disproportionate to the price. Five uncooked (ceviche style apparently) prawns were taken back for further frying. Not tasty and it looked pathetic and bare on the plate. Not very impressed with the rendang either. Especially very salty, crazy pale color and again way too small a portion. Shame!

Wat een teleurstelling. We kwamen hier regelmatig. De laatste keer was wel een tijd geleden. Prijzen flink omhoog en porties en kwaliteit flink omlaag. Na een uur en driekwartier wachten hebben we het laatste deel van het menu maar laten zitten. Wat ontzettend jammer!

We have been several times and the food was excellent. Unfortunately it was not tasty yesterday and the price quality is not in proportion. The satay was lukewarm and not tasty and the nasi was not tasty. The service is very friendly. Unfortunately no more calaboose for us.

Afgelopen jaren meerder malen dit restaurant bezocht en de ervaringen waren wisselend. Soms heel goed en soms iets minder maar nu was het eten ronduit slecht. Vooropgesteld, de bediening is erg goed en vriendelijk, net zoals de cocktails welke heerlijk zijn. Maar de satés zijn enorm achteruit gegaan sinds het laatste bezoek, echt ver onder de maat. Ajam, babi en ook de paddestoelen saté geprobeerd maar de prijs kwaliteit verhouding is helemaal weg. Echt minimale stukjes op de stokjes met veel saus en lauw opgediend. Ook rendang besteld, deze had dan weer geen saus maar was gortdroog. Komt op een bord wat voor de helft gevuld was met een soort van smakeloze salade. Bij de gerechten krijg je lontong, 2 minimale stukjes welke wel redelijk van smaak zijn. Al met al zijn de gerechtjes gemiddeld €16,- en dat is gezien de hoeveelheid en kwaliteit €10,- te duur. Dit restaurant zat bij eerdere bezoeken tjokvol en nu waren er slechts 5 tafels bezet. Dit zegt genoeg..

Judging from the rating of the food, this is very good. Good flavour, tender and rich aromas. The price-quality ratio is just a bit skewed. Shared dining with extra dishes ordered twice, otherwise we wouldn't have enough. 3x starter, 1x shared dining and 2 drinks per person was €215. The staff was a bit slow and sometimes some things were forgotten. It was also very noisy. Paid parking until 11 p.m. (weekdays and weekends). Unfortunately, we were told that they will also soon be setting up a table arrangement so that they can cover the costs, so this is the last time we have been here.

Toen ik binnen kwam was ik verrast door de leuke locatie en ook werden wij echt vriendelijk geholpen door een jongen. Hij legt uit dat de gerechtjes allemaal in combinatie zijn met rijst of ander bijgerecht. Dat bleek bij bestellen bij een meisje niet zo te zijn. Ook stel ze uit haar zelf niet voor of we nog een bijgerecht willen! De bediening was karig en kreeg het idee als we wat aan het meisje vroegen of dat ze haast had en niet geïnteresseerd was in haar gasten. We moesten zelf steeds vragen om nieuwe bestek. We bestellen rendang kroketjes krijgen een rendang recept los. Uiteindelijk willen we betalen geen enkele bediening meer te vinden al een tijdje niet. We zijn zelf maar naar voren gelopen ik heb er netjes wat van gezegd tegen een vriendelijke jongen achter de bar, die gaf wel z’n excuses en liet merken dat dit niet ok was. Heel teleurstellend want de gerechten zijn best prijzig dan verwacht je toch wel wat anders. Hopelijk kunnen jullie hier wat mee voor jullie kwaliteit van het restaurant,blijf je gasten in de gaten houden. Zeker met zulke hoge prijzen. Mvg, Peggy Wassink

Yesterday we ended up here by chance after we were looking for a nice Indonesian restaurant. The good reviews showed us the way. A friendly employee ensured that we got a seat even earlier (even though the online reservation system did not allow this). We were warmly welcomed and ordered one of the carefully crafted cocktails as an aperitif. This is accompanied by the house prawn crackers and sambal. We chose 3 dishes and the nasi. These were all delicious. Too bad we live so far otherwise this would be our new place. Highly recommended.

Uitgenodigd door onze zoon om hier te gaan eten. Mooie locatie in Kralingen. Personeel is vriendelijk maar staan denk ik met te weinig na dat we naar onze tafel waren gebracht heeft het 45 minuten geduurd voordat we ons eten en drankje eindelijk hadden. We hadden 3 verschillende cocktails en deze waren heerlijk. Het eten was heerlijk maar de prijs te aanzien van de hoeveelheid is te duur. Verder een gezellige avond gehad maar die maakt je natuurlijk ook wel zelf.

Ate here last week and were surprised by the beautiful garden. The food is really tasty and beautifully prepared. The cocktails also taste very good. The only thing I didn't expect is that the portions are really small. It is shared dining, but if you can each take 1 bite of 1 dish and pay €16, that is a bit much. Because it tastes so good you can still say okay, it's worth the price. It just depends on what you expect of course.

Staff is friendly, cozy restaurant and cocktails are good. Food, on the other hand, is very disappointing in terms of price/quality.

We have been here a few times, both indoors and outdoors, and the food has always been delicious. But this time it wasn't good... the concept seems to have changed, different dishes and the portions. The food was really disappointing and some dishes were tasteless. €80 euros lighter and we left hungry & disappointed 😔

Very nice place, where Indonesian dishes are served on a shared dining basis. Delicious dishes with varied flavors. Service is very friendly and correct. There is also a wide choice of various cocktails. A restaurant where we will definitely eat again.

Great food especially the chicken sate & rendang , nice staff, fair prices

Thursday evening, 🕣 o'clock, sitting at the front on the small outdoor terrace, we had dinner consisting of a sate babi, sate jamur, gadogado, and udang raksasa, where the sate babi was again old-fashioned juicy and tasty. Drink? Bintang .

Had high hopes before coming here. Sadly, it did not live up to the expectations. Of course, taste differs. The food looks good. The taste is just ok. Indonesian with a twist. The chicken satay was good. The cocktails were good as well. The other dishes were not that great. Shared dining concept, so small amounts on the plates. It's a nice concept, but it was quite expensive for the amount that you're getting (and the quality). Staff is friendly, but wasn't that fast. Might be because they may be understaffed, perhaps.

Nice tent to see, tastefully decorated. Just a shame that the food did not live up to expectations. In terms of price and quality, it is not in balance. Ordered various dishes and only the cocktails were really tasty. The satay was the tastiest dish and it was just fine. Service was nice, but think a staff shortage. Took quite a while for our food and drinks.

I don't usually write bad reviews, but I was especially disappointed with this restaurant. Food wise, it was bland, tiny portions and expensive. I split it between four with my friends, and we were all disappointed. We are also all Indonesian. The service was also lackluster. Our waiter must have thought this place was a brunch spot in Bali, because he had cargo shorts, a bandana and a print t shirt on. This was a bad reflection of a classy bar/restaurant. The atmosphere didn't contribute much either. I kept bumping things and dropping my cutlery because it was pitch black inside. I will not go back here again.

Very nice service, delicious food, but gosh, what small portions. The rendang just didn't fly away... for 50,- pp (with 1 glass of wine) we really didn't eat much. Luckily I was with friends and not with my husband….

Mijn man had gereserveerd. Tafel voor twee. Geen plek aan de bar gereserveerd, dt kun je namelijk reserveren. Wij waren die avond 14 jaar getrouwd dus dan is het fijn om een tafel te hebben waar je elkaar in de ogen kan kijken zeg maar. Bij binnenkomst gaf de serveerster ons met iets te veel enthousiasme een plek aan de door haar genoemde ‘livebar’ de plek waar je naast elkaar zit en met je snufferd boven de bakplaat hangt van de kok! Nee dit is niet waar ik gezellig met mijn man een cocktail wil drinken en een hapje wil eten, zeker niet omdat de kok zowat alles kan horen wat je zegt, hij zit namelijk een halve meter van je vandaan. Na een minuut bij de serveerster aangeven dat dit hem niet ging worden. Ze ging even ‘kijken’ voor ons. Haar antwoord was dat alles vol was omdat deze mensen dat gereserveerd hadden. Uuuh ja wij ook beste serveerster. Volgens haar hadden wij bij de reservering expliciet aangegeven aan een bar te willen zitten. Dat liegen van haar deed hem de das om! Wij zijn opgestaan de deur uitgelopen om nooit meer terug te komen! Bedankt voor het verpesten van onze avond!

Why hasn't this review been posted? We received a very warm welcome and the food was very tasty. Only the rendang croquettes were deflated, at least I assume they are not supposed to be filled with air. We did find the portions a bit on the small side for the price. The decoration of the restaurant is nicely decorated, the music is nice and the large selection of cocktails gives it a festive atmosphere. However, we were disappointed that the unsolicited portion of prawn crackers was included on the receipt. If you spend around 100 euros for 2 people, this is really not necessary.

When I read the reviews we were 1 year too late, they were often positive, because the visit, 9-3-24, was disappointing. Indonesian food but different, modern to serve tiny portions? dishes, sajoer lode, to be changed in such a way that it is no longer recognizable. Rendang so salty and little (three tiny pieces) Sate ajam and babi, both ordered twice, between the first order (delicious) and the second there is a difference in quality that makes you think how is that possible. White rice and nasi (which had a different name) tasteless and lukewarm. It's too easy to criticize everything, I try to be open to different flavors (than those in my head) and layout, but I wanted Indonesian food, this was derived from Indonesian cuisine and I was not prepared for that. So for my opinion, 10 others who appreciate it. Atmosphere, nice, friendly, sitting in the garden with good additional heating, great place if you are not in the air flow from the connecting door. Service good, friendly, helpful and the shortage of staff (assuming this is the reason) is also noticeable here, most of the time 1 person in the garden (which was well occupied) for service. Later that evening (it had become quiet inside) there was more help in the garden. Conclusion for me, expect different flavors and presentation of dishes, small portions (nothing wrong with ordering twice) that are certainly not cheap and trying it yourself is the best way to experience it.

Food was tasty but the portions felt small for the price. The desert was very tasty. Our waiter was very friendly but other staff members were coughing into hands when handling food/drinks. Restaurant burns incense which could be a problem if sensitive to strong smells.

First time here. Heard good stories about it. But the food was very disappointing. Both in terms of taste (especially very salty) and the small portions that you would have to 'share'.

Always had a good meal at Calaboose. Unfortunately not this time. Menu was adjusted as were the portions. These are only 1/3 of what they were and therefore we thought it was far too expensive in comparison. The food was also far too salty and lacking in flavor as you would expect from an Indonesian restaurant. In fact, there is nothing left of what it once was. The gado gado was always delicious but now it looked more like pickled vegetables... Actually it was just one big disappointment.

Book a table before you go! Food is delicious, although quite pricey given the small portion size, cocktails are average.

Great Indonesian classics with surprising modern additions! Calaboose serves sharing dishes with awesome cocktails. We had about 5 dishes to share between two, with room for a tasty dessert. Cosy seating, inspired interior and attendant staff.

Shared dining Indonesian What a great concept, small portions to share and order in multiple courses. A bit like the 'Tapas' idea The spicy nasi goreng very tasty, the steamed buns delicious, the rendang very intense... I can't name everything, I'll definitely try it myself. The only downside was that we were seated close to a speaker, but after we indicated that we found the music a bit too loud, this was quickly resolved to our satisfaction.

Delicious food. Real Indonesian through and through. Service, gentlemen were very friendly and (child) friendly. The lady who was there should pay more attention to her colleagues how they interact with the guests. The only downside was that it was chilly. Despite the heaters and blankets, they offered. Super awesome!! Maybe it was also that it was freezing (Saturday 20th). Everyone brought the cold inside. 😅 We would love to come back to you again!! (We ate almost the entire menu, did not take a photo of everything)

The satay is very tasty. Easily share with each other. Fast and above all pleasant service. They make delicious cocktails there. All in a lovely spot in Kralingen. Highly recommended as you understand. The menu has been adjusted as of January 2024. Still very tasty but we miss the chicken and the satay dish

Top food and service. Found this place because of Buncharted on youtube and they were not kidding, it is really great. Defo recommended!

The mediocre food/drinks here are worsened by the service. We ordered a vegetarian dish and the server brought it out with a fish product on it. After this was commented, the server didn’t apologize or didn’t even offer to correct the situation until asked. This was not only disrespectful but incredibly dangerous as many people are allergic to shellfish. The portions are also tiny and most of the food isn’t very good.

hmmm.. a new chef Calaboose, who takes the delicious jackfruit goreng off the menu... and the daging rendang is also gone... very disappointing. The replacement dishes are disappointing (Baobun sandwich without filling..?! ) and are served with long intervals: the sambal beans and telor arrive half an hour later, even though everything was ordered at the same time. We often came to Calaboose and always looked forward to the delicious dishes and good lively atmosphere. Unfortunately this is all gone now. Shame! The funny starter cocktail has also disappeared and the other cocktails have suddenly become twice as expensive. The cheerful bartender was also not there. I have now replaced my previous review about Calaboose (2 years ago). We now have to look for another Indonesian restaurant. I may call Calaboose in a while to see if the menu has (hopefully) been reversed, otherwise I'm gloomy.

I have eaten at many Indonesian restaurants, but I have to calm my emotions about Calaboose before I write about my experiences here. Now let's get some sleep.... …Now, a week later, I look back on a restaurant that looks attractive, especially the attractive garden house attached to the side. Upon entering, the garden house invites you to eat at Calaboose again in the future. It is a pity that the cold due to the thin wooden walls of the large garden house does not enhance the warm atmosphere during the cold days in November. When we ate there it was not yet below zero outside, so what if it freezes outside later? It is very annoying that the staff sometimes leaves the door between the actual restaurant and the garden house open for too long, causing a lot of draft in the garden house. And if you are unlucky, there will be an electric heater on all evening, hanging from the low ceiling above your head, just shy of causing scorch marks on your head and neck. Heat differently or those things will hang in other places Calaboose! The service is cheerful and friendly and they are truly a calling card for the restaurant. They distribute their attention well in an attentive manner and that is especially important if you don't want to run out of drinks on the table. Unfortunately, the flexibility for a small adjustment if you don't like something on a menu is lacking. How so? If you want satay babi instead of satay ayam in a menu, that is not possible. When asked why it is not possible, the waiter answered that it has something to do with how the satays are counted, but that was difficult to explain. Foreign! A limited menu can be good for customers, your purchasing and prevents waste. It will be annoying for your restaurant (and also customers) if you are not a little flexible and no small adjustments are possible for people who do not like something and what you read next will also play a role in your restaurant choice. How the plates are laid out and how the food is served is good. That is why the previously posted photo of empty plates was removed again. Once the food is served on the table, you look forward to how it will taste. However, what was looking forward to turned out to be a disappointment. The flavors you would expect from Indonesian food had apparently been lost somewhere along the way. Where may Joost know. We were served sajoer beans that were too hard. Daging rendang that tasted like some kerosene had gotten into the whole thing. Tasteless nasi and for dessert, among other things, spekkoek that tasted like it had been frozen and thawed wet at room temperature had found its way to our table. The only things that tasted were the satays and gado gado. You start to wonder whether the cook had a bad day and how they got the many stars. A wrong count!? In brief. The atmosphere and service are good, but for tasty Indonesian food it is wise to look further for another restaurant. One where nasi koenig plus bami are also on the menu AND there are not only menus with satay ayam but also with satay babi AND people can count in the kitchen!

Heerlijk Indonesische gerechten daar.

Wat een heerlijke saté ayam, zo zacht. Ook de nasi goreng en sambal telor zijn voortreffelijk. We gaan er zeker vaker eten

Erg gezellige plek met lekker eten en drinken. Porties zijn klein en helaas relatief vrij duur, waardoor we weinig besteld hebben. Maar je moet er wél een keer geweest zijn!

Eten was niet veel, maar wel lekker. Te duur, als je het mij vraagt.

Wat ons echt opviel hier, is de vriendelijke service. Dat maken wij bij andere horecagelegenheden helaas weinig meer mee. We vroegen tijdens spitstijd om een plekje op het terras maar hadden niet gereserveerd. Bij menig horecagelegenheid volgt dan een moeilijke blik en diepe zucht, zo niet hier. Uiteindelijk terechtgekomen in de sfeervolle overdekte binnentuin en daar genoten van een goede cocktail, wat biertjes en een paar shared dining gerechtjes. De gerechten waren op zich goed van smaak, maar toch als je dan een tijdje later en 100 euro lichter voor 2 personen weer buiten staat vond ik het allemaal niet super royaal qua porties. En hoewel het personeel dat er wel was uiterst vriendelijk was, duurde de service vaak wel wat lang (had 1/2 personeel bij gekund). Als de porties/prijzen en service (snelheid) beter in verhouding zijn een uitblinker.

Leuk, sfeervol zaakje aan de Oudedijk. Bij binnenkomst valt direct de muziek op die veel te hard staat voor een restaurant. Bediening heel vriendelijk. We moesten wel het driegangen menu kiezen ivm de feestdagen (??). Als Indo en net terug van drie weken Indonesië waren de verwachtingen hoog gespannen... Start met kroepoek en drie soorten sambal. Prima, niks aan de hand snack. Daarna begon de parade vreemde menugangen. Schelvis met mosselen, kippendijfilet en iets dat sajoer lodeh moest voorstellen. De vis smaakte zurig en te sterk naar vis. De kip was niet gekruid en was dan ook smakeloos. De gekookte groenten lagen in een schuim van kokosmelk, wederom zonder (waarneembare) specerijen. De volgende gang bevatte buikspek, rendang en paksoi in vissaus. De spek was lekker (hoera!), de rendang was ok, maar hoort pittig te zijn. De groente was echt oneetbaar, met vreemde penetrante smaak, na één hap laten staan. Opmerkingen doorgegeven aan bediening, maar werd niets mee gedaan. De sate babi en sate ayam waren wel goed, maar dat mag je ook verwachten van de Saté Man. De porties waren voor drie personen erg klein, zeker als je samen 97,50 euro (!!) voor het menu betaalt. Kortom, Calaboose kan zich beter beperken tot cocktails en saté; daarin blinken ze uit. In (freestyle) Indonesisch koken helaas niet, daar heeft Rotterdam veel betere plekken voor.

Goede sateh (niet de beste) met lekkere cocktails in een leuk knus tuintje Flink gegoogled want we hadden zin in sateh na een lange tijd en ik zocht dus de beste. Kwam hier uit qua reviews, foto's en wat blogs met top 10 lijstjes. Het was inderdaad erg lekker eten en hele goede sateh, maar niet de beste en mocht meer authentiek/ steviger qua kruiden. Nogmaals erg goed, maar calaboose is ook van de sateh man en samen doen ze ook catering en er gaat naast de restaurants dus echt flink wat sateh door. Daar moet een oplossing voor komen qua voorgaren en ik vermoed dat de sateh al sous vide wordt gegaard en dan wordt afgegrild op houtskool. Op zich helmaal niets mis mee, vlees was zacht en lekker gemarineerd en met houtskool smaak in heerlijke pindasaus. Maar geen 5 sterren omdat de smaak meer uitgesproken mocht zijn en het gewoon lekkerder is als je rauwe sateh wordt afgegrild op houtskool. Duurt wel langer. Ik vind bv Salamain betere sateh hebben. We hadden de babi en ayam mix, maar ik miste bv kambing en oedeng. De ayam was heel lekker maar erg zoet, er zat een krokante gesuikerde laag op na bakken. Dus ook hier veel suiker en niet te heftig gekruid naar ieders mond. Wel erg lekker! De cocktails waren super! De setting van de tuin ook, wel even anti mug meenemen hehehe, leuke lampjes en lekker knus bruisend. De bediening was super aardig en had het wel een beetje druk, dus je moest ze wat zoeken. Maar heel goed gedaan en nemen de tijd aan tafel. Top. Prijzen bovengemiddeld. We komen sws terug voor lekkere cocktails en een gezellige avond met heerlijk eten 👍🏻

Rendang lekker mals , sate goed op smaak. Gado gado knapperig. Wat mij betreft is de grootte van de porties ok. Veel is niet altijd beter. Kortom, wat mij betreft prma. Zeer vriendelijk personeel.

Kwalitatief goed en lekker eten. Shared dining principe is een leuk concept echter als ze de porties aanpassen aan de grootte van het gezelschap zal dit een toprestaurant zijn.

Buitenlocatie erg mooi en veel aandacht aan besteed. Maar tijdens het bezoek meerdere wierooks constant aanzetten is best heftig. Daarnaast erg lang gewacht op het eten, zelf opgegeven moment (45 min later?!) maar gevraagd waar het bleef en bleek de bestelling niet bij de keuken terecht gekomen. Raar als je onze bestelling als eerste opneemt, iedereen later dan ons hun eten al heeft en 80x langs ons heen loopt om de rest te vragen of alles naar wens is maar ons negeert? Zodoende vind ik de service en de bediening erg tegenvallen, ook de smaken.. op alles is maar pindasaus opgepleurd en tada het is 'Indonesisch'.. veel Nederlanders die vinden dit geweldig (zaak zat ook vol daar mee, niet lullig bedoeld ofz) maar als je een beetje goeie smaakpapillen heb, merk je dat alles erg flauw is. En dan de prijs, voor de late bediening, uit/wegblijven van de bediening, zelf naar de kassa toe moeten lopen voor de bon.. en dan gewoon alles betalen. Nee ze hebben geen punten bij mij gescoord en zullen mij niet opnieuw zien.

Kwaliteit van eten is goed, alleen zouden de porties wel wat groter kunnen

Zelden zo lekker indonesisch gegeten als hier. Verfijnd eten met liefde bereid. De bediening is heel attent en sympathiek en het is een gezellige zaak om te zitten. Hier kom ik zeker terug.

Stumbled upon the Calaboose as we were going for a walk by Kralingse Bos, lake and forest nearby. Ordered a tasty vegetarian mixed meal for two people, served with delicious jackfruit and tempeh, along with various greens and rice. Was a truly lovely meal, drinks were great too. Staff were welcoming and friendly, the restaurant was a quirky, charming place with a nice outdoor dining area. Highly recommended!

Absoluut heerlijk gegeten en een leuke bediening. Al verwacht je geen mensen met hipsterbaarden en kapsels in een Indonesische restaurant. Maar das mijn ding. Verder absoluut een top tent op een mooie locatie.

Prima! Lekker gegeten, lontong bij de saté was goed maar de apart bestelde niet, nasi niet bijzonder. Rendang en saté'tjes echte aanrader en spekkoek was ook lekker!

Wat een heerlijke tent. Good vibes, heerlijk eten en het personeel heeft verstand van zaken. Product kennis en veel ervaring. Ik ben gewoon dankbaar dat ik door iemand ben geholpen die haar beroep verstaat en het met liefde uitdraagt. Ga zo door, ik kom zeker terug!

A cozy place with with a very friendly crew. The food was amazing, every bite was a explosion of taste! The cocktails were strong, tasty and refreshing, as cocktails should be. It would have been a 5 star if they just gave a bit more sauce with the kroepoek. Other than that, we are definitely coming back!

De locatie is mooi en uitstekend om er te gaan eten.

Heerlijk eten en superaardige bediening! Echt een aanrader! Ook een fijne plek om te zitten, zowel buiten als binnen.

Een ontzettend leuk restaurant met echt fantastisch eten. De mensen in de bediening zijn allemaal even vriendelijk en attent, de service was echt top. Het enige minpuntje vond ik de prijzen. Deze zijn vrij hoog, en zelfs voor de sambal waar ik om vroeg, moest extra worden betaald. Evengoed zou ik wel terug gaan en is het zeker een aanrader. Ik heb in Nederland zelden lekkere saté gegeten. Deze overtreft alles en is absoluut het proberen waard (zowel ayam als babi).

Toppie, leuke tent, hele fijne sfeer, meer dan genoeg lekker eten, fijn muziekje op de achtergrond, vriendelijke en goede service..👍 Ook 'na' corona is het daar nog helemaal maar dan ook helemaal top! 14-06-2023 Ben r weer geweest...google zegt...geef eens nog een review... ben nog steeds fan!

Heerlijk Aziatisch eten en je waant je ook ècht even in Scoren, vooral in de binnentuin!

Wauw wat een top tent. Heerlijke cocktails, heerlijk eten, top bediening, geweldige sfeer en wat een super leuk tentje om te zien. Ik ga graag naar allemaal verschillende restaurants maar dit word er 1 om vaker heen te gaan!

Supergoed en gezellig restaurant met top bediening, wat je helaas niet overal kunt zeggen tegenwoordig!

My first experience with the indonesian food and it was way better than I could imagine. We started with Rendang kroketjes and Lemper, so tasty, but the best part is definitely Sate, both pork and chicken. So tender, full of flavour. Cocktails match the food perfectly. The ambiance is cosy and the staff are cheerful and helpful. Unique experience.

Fantastisch genoten van eten, ambiance en enthousiaste bediening. Naast heerlijke saté, waren ayam goreng en daging rendang absolute aanraders!

Zou graag meer dan een 5 sterren review schrijven, maar 5 is helaas de max. Wat mij betreft 10 sterren. Of 20! Hier raak je niet uitgegeten. En gedronken. 't Is allemaal zo asociaal lekker, niet normaal! En wat een lieve mensen en een goede service! Dikke blij! Hopelijk tot snel!

Great restaurant with a casual atmosphere. Quality of the food is very high and way better than the fairly humble price range suggests.
