Overall, we had a good experience. The seating was nice , and the waiter was friendly. We ordered a Caesar salad, mac and cheese, and Le Royal burger. All the dishes were delicious, and we highly recommend trying the meat options. Additionally, they offer a different menu for lunch, which includes a variety of sandwiches.

What a wonderful evening at Canibaal Royale! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy, and everything was taken care of down to the last detail. Had a delicious meal at Cannibale Royale in Amsterdam-Noord! The ambiance is atmospheric and relaxed, and I also received excellent advice regarding the accompanying wine. The steak was delicious, but the recommended peppercorn sauce really topped it off — truly divine! What certainly deserves a compliment from me is the service. Everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive, almost un-Amsterdam-like attentive 😉. Lucy served me, and as far as I'm concerned, she absolutely deserves 5 stars too! In short: delicious food, good wine, a nice atmosphere, and fantastic service. I will definitely be back here again!

Well, the restaurant wanted me to be more precise, so here it is: 1) Very slow — waited two hours for food; 2) Тhe chicken burger was burnt; 3) the service was not very attentive. Simply will not come back, there are better restaurants to spend your cash :)

The food is 4/5, but the service, on the other hand, is super slow. They don't work quickly and took a long time over the main course. The water was ordered but not delivered. After 20 minutes, and when we were almost finished, we finally received the water. The food was fine, the steak too. The lobster is certainly not worth 30 euros. The nachos are good. The dessert is not worth the cost of the cheesecake. Not worth 190 euros. Overall 3/5 stars. It's good that it's open until so late, so that's why 3/5; there are better places.

We have eaten here twice; it is super tasty. But the second time, the grilled asparagus was very bad. We asked to exchange it, but they came back in 2 minutes.

It was too dark inside. We struggled to read the menu on that light. Food was just ok. Service was just ok.

The portions are very small. I'm 48 kilos and 158 cm tall, and even I wasn't full. It's just meat, with a pickled-like side dish, and even that's very little. The taste and texture of the meat were very good. It was cooked exactly as I wanted.

I'm giving one star because it's impossible to give zero. Arrived at 12 PM. I ordered a plate of ribs and was served a completely burnt dish with a terrible smell. 🤢🤮🤢

Nice atmosphere, basic but rustically set up. Very fast and attentive service, drinks were on the table quickly. Wings were very tasty! Mixed grill for 2 was okay, didn't find the pork belly particularly special. The rest was very lukewarm. Fries tasty. Not cheap, but had a great experience. It is not really a repeat visit.

Ordered via UberEats and it was really very disappointing. I've been to the restaurant before and had a top-notch experience then. Tonight I wanted to celebrate something and decided to treat ourselves to an order that was expensive for home delivery. The fries were missing and the spare ribs were so small that it felt like an appetizer. The Caesar salad didn't taste good. The burger was good, but incomplete without fries. A letdown ☹️ I'll just spread some peanut butter on a cracker to satisfy my hunger.

Went back to our favorite steak spot last night! Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the steak (it happens), but the service, on the other hand, was top-notch. It was handled immediately by the manager on duty, and we even got a complimentary dessert. Service you don't come across often in the Netherlands these days 🙌🏽. Thanks and see you soon!

Filthy tables, salt and pepper shakers with food residue; even the laminated menu was dirty and sticky. But top dollar for the unremarkable food. The sauce was delivered much later than the food, which was a plus point as it was compensated for by half. At least half.

Visited Cannibale Royale du Nord in Amsterdam. The meat was of good quality and well prepared, although it was a shame that the food arrived lukewarm and got cold quickly. I had ordered a steak saignant, but that wasn't immediately understood, so I had to clarify as “medium rare”. The interior was very nice and atmospherically decorated; a really cool place to sit. The music was quite loud, though, and consisted mainly of rap, which I felt didn't quite fit the vibe. Overall, a nice place, but with some room for improvement in my opinion.

We have now eaten here for the second time and once again it was really incredibly delicious. This time I chose the vegetarian cauliflower, and although it is mainly known as a meat restaurant, this dish was surprisingly tasty – highly recommended. The rest of the party went for various meat dishes and everyone was very pleased with those as well. The generous portions of vegetables are good too! In addition, there is plenty of choice in drinks. The service is friendly, attentive, and hospitable. We will definitely be back!

Excellent service. However, we had to wait well over an hour for our food, which is quite long for me. The lobster tail I ordered looked more like a shrimp than a lobster tail, which was also quite a shame.
