Cantina in Wijk 00 Centrum

Lovely terrace where we enjoyed delicious tapas and cocktails. Service was excellent.

Three of us sat on the terrace on a sunny late summer day (29/9). Despite the warm sun, the patio heater was still on. Strange, and especially warm! We ordered fish croquettes, carpaccio, and grilled vegetables to share. The fish croquettes were mainly filled with a kind of puree. We didn't really enjoy the fish. The carpaccio was tender meat but without a lettuce leaf, no Parmesan, and far too much sauce (like mayonnaise). We received two small pieces of bread for three people. The grilled vegetables were delicious. With one glass of wine each, we paid 60 euros. Far too much to leave with a barely full stomach. The waitress was very friendly, but the waiter, however, was arrogant and not customer-friendly. We won't be back. We rarely pay 60 euros and left the table hungry.

If you love pure food, this is the place to be. Both the carpaccio and the tuna were delicious. The carpaccio is exactly how it should be. And made with real tenderloin. Highly recommended!!

Simple cuisine and therefore very tasty and pure.

Sunday evening, 8 p.m., several tables outside were empty. We wanted to have a coffee and a few drinks. Unfortunately, the waiter sent us away. He didn't think we were worth a cup of coffee. The last time I'll ever go there.

Ordered carpaccio salad but was disappointed. Old lettuce with a brown edge, no parmesan cheese with pine nuts. Not worth the 14.50 euros. Not recommended.
