Friendly service, delicious ice cream! Unfortunately, there was a fly in one of our ice creams, which happens in this hot weather. We received a new one right away, including an apology.

Not recommended at all. The ice cream made me feel sick. Also, I walked past the back street, where the employees were smoking, and I saw a rat come in. Another day I tried De IJsmaker ice cream shop, and everything was delicious, complying with all hygiene regulations, so it's best to go there.

Very pleasant service. We had one with yogurt and matcha, very tasty. With watermelon, not so tasty, but also good.

Super delicious! Wide selection! Also for vegans, not just fruit varieties, but also flavors like vanilla, hazelnut, pistachio, and amarena.

The ice cream isn't chunky, but I like it. I had a lovely time sitting inside. Just right to keep anyone who's not there at bay. Not made for large people. It's a wonderful place to be.

They have durian ice cream here!!! It was super delicious and creamy with the real durian flavor, without the chemical taste (which is often the case with this flavor, unfortunately). The lychee flavor was also delicious, refreshing, and not too sweet. So nice that they have flavors here that you rarely see elsewhere!

Looks clean, fairly long waiting time

The place is quite nice, it was hot inside, it just happened to be a very hot time of year, which doesn't usually happen there, I only had some ice cream, the flavor wasn't the best I've ever tried in my life, although it has a nice flavor and it refreshed me quite a bit, I'm leaving photos of the place and what I ate, the prices are okay.

Ordered 3 flavors, paid extra for pistache and about 1/6th is pistache. A lot of their ice cream is watery

Intensely enjoyed vegan hazelnut ice cream, really my favorite flavor. I can't tolerate milk and at most ice cream parlors you can only choose sweet fruit flavors. But at Capri there is a wide choice of vegan flavors, high quality ice cream!

Ice cream was just not good. Watery and soft. Not what you expect when you go to an Italian ice cream parlor. Really a shame. Really wanted it. Threw it away. We also had a discount card. I have been to Capri a few times since my previous review. I enjoyed a delicious vegan pistachio milkshake with oat milk again. Next time I will try something else. How nice of you that it is now clearly visible on the website and also clearly visible on the window of the ice cream parlor. When I am in Rotterdam again I will definitely come back. Thank you for the delicious taste sensation every time.

Every true Rotterdammer knows where to find this when they fancy a nice ice cream. Possibly with whipped cream. The real thing. Not the snotty stuff from a spray can. Friendly staff. On nice days there are a lot of them. And that is not an unnecessary luxury. Because it can be very busy here, right in the heart of Rotterdam.

Ice cream was good/okay. The milkshakes are tasteless and tastes like pure milk. Staff is okay, management is rude.

Me and my friends are not happy with the service nor the product. The icecream is mediocre and the milkshake we ordered was meant to be with White Chocolate flavour but it tasted like milk. We asked to get the flavour fixed and the manager dismissed us right away. There are better ice cream spots in the city - so wouldn’t recommend it.

I order a white chocolate milkshake.. it tasted like cold milk. When we went to ask for more ice cream the manager was super rude.

Amazing gelato! I tried the Malaga (contains alcohol) and the Ferrero Rocher. Very delicious. The cone was also fresh and tasted good. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Will visit again for sure !

Ordered ice cream from Capri via home delivery. After an hour and a half I still haven't received my order. Then I called Capri and was literally told that it was not their problem and that I should contact Thuisbezorgd. When I ask how I can contact them, I am told that they only have a telephone number that they are not allowed to give out (this number can be found on the internet, so what do you mean you are not allowed to give it out). When I ask them to cancel the order, it is also very difficult to do so. This is very strange. All in all this is a totally disorganized affair. I will literally never order from this shitty place again.

Venezia Ice Cream Parlor was closed so we went past Capri. We wanted to eat spaghetti ice cream that we normally eat at Venezia, because it is delicious there. The spaghetti ice cream concept from Capri is a bit different from that of Venezia, and also costs a bit more. 9.50 at Capri and 6.50 at Venezia. And if you talk about the taste, the taste of Venezia is a few levels better. The atmosphere at Venezia is also much nicer. The owner is friendly, constantly smiling and making nice jokes. I had to laugh once when I ate spaghetti ice cream there for the first time and he told me that I had to watch out because it was hot. Unfortunately we were not able to experience that at Capri. And the ice was also less. Venezia IJssalon and Nino from Rotterdam South are at a different level.

A few days ago I got spaghetti ice cream, in terms of taste and price it doesn't come close to the Venezia ice cream parlor a few 100 meters away. What the owner can also learn from venezia is hospitality and welcoming customers with a smile. The owner, Claudio, couldn't help but smile. This is very unfortunate!

Let's start with the actual product, you have vegan options as well and honestly BOTH are DELICIOUS, especially the watermelon. The ice cream by itself is DELICIOUS. However the service Saturday night was horrible. Saturday night we were looking at the different flavors while the others infront of us were being served. When it was our time, we got a irritated expression and it felt like we were being a bother by just being there. A huge group came in after us and I can understand that can feel overwhelming, but don't take that out on us and rushing us while we are the customer at the moment. Either their staff should learn customer service & people skills or hire someone who does. It's because of this service we probably won't go back, which is very disappointing because we love their ice cream, it is DELICIOUS.

I had some scoops of ice cream with stracciatella, but the stracciatella was clearly diluted: So no pure creamy taste, but a clear watery taste with many ice crystals in it. It's a shame that a traditionally good tent wants to save money like this. This is what the owner says: "Dear, we don't dilute anything at all, if you have a problem, come and report it to the store instead of behind the sad screens." My response to that of the owner: If nothing is diluted, the quality of the ice is even more dramatic than I thought. Whether or not I come into the store to complain is up to me. I expect top quality and it is not there. I won't stand in line to complain to an employee who speaks poor English. It is better to worry about quality and invest time in it instead of reacting passively aggressively.

Many flavors have become vegan, which means the ice cream is no longer as creamy. A disappointment for me. The taste of the past is no longer there. From now on, go to the ice cream parlor on the Meent!

We are not always happy with the ice cream (we think Venezia Rotterdam is better), but the Lemon Curd Cheesecake with Bastogne base from Capri is truly irresistible! What a flavor explosion. Try it, you won't be disappointed! It's also nice that you can order everything here via Uber Eats.

Nice promotion on King's Day with a free orange scoop, but because the refrigerator is not cold enough, several people complained that the ice cream was too soft and so an ice cream is not tasty and let's be honest, ice cream is not that cheap anymore these days.
