A guy approached me while I was reading the menu, telling me he knew a cheaper place and that the menu was too expensive. I told him no, but he insisted, asking me where I was from and trying to get me to do what he said. I told him I was the one paying and left without even being able to look at the menu properly. What I didn't understand was that he then convinced a couple to go into the restaurant... I didn't understand ANYTHING!! Totally uncomfortable. I ended up eating across the street, and it was very good.

Absolutely exceptional experience at Carne Argentina! I had the steak salad, which was cooked to perfection and packed with flavour, a real standout dish for lunch. Service was fantastic from start to finish, with Abed and Mario looking after me. Mario in particular went above and beyond and made the whole meal even better. The atmosphere was warm and inviting too. Can’t recommend this place enough, will definitely be back!

Beautiful steak, we came last year and hunted down the same restaurant because we knew how good the steak was, and it didn’t disappoint- food lovely, staff fantastic too!

This is the place we went to on our first night in Amsterdam. The meats are delicious. If you're a meat lover like me, we recommend you visit. We also had fried mushrooms and corn, which were enjoyable as well.

The staff were very friendly, attentive, and highly professional, making us feel welcome throughout the meal. I ordered a 500 gram beef fillet I was served a meat that was not beef tenderloin and did not weigh 500 grams the meat was not tender the fries are frozen and the manager forces you to put a positive opinion on Google by offering you a limoncello I do not recommend this restaurant

Salad without dressing, pre-baked rolls from Aldi with ready-made discount store herb butter. I absolutely cannot recommend this food. The doorman touted its high quality, but unfortunately, we didn't find it on our plates.

Always great food, service is steady but there is a sense of urgency to settle up once you've finished eating, so they can turn the table over. Quaint decor that would benefit from updating.Overall though if you want a steak properly cooked to order and a straightforward, honest meal then this is a good option.

Except for the young boy with glasses and the ladies, the other employees were terrible. I ordered 500 grams of meat because I was very hungry, but half of it was bone and half was meat. Almost 250 grams was bone, and we said goodbye as we left. The man just nodded dismissively, even though we had said it with a smile.

Fantastic food, fantastic service.

Ordered Spare Ribs, Ribeye, and a Filet. Cook on everything was exactly what we asked for and delicious. Chimicurri sauce was great as well. Fries were meh but they aren't the star of the show so didn't bother us any. Depending on what you ask for a meal could be any where from €15 - 50, something for everyone

Wild experience. Went during the World Cup final. There was A LOT going on here. The staff was very friendly. Maybe a little too friendly? We ordered some beers and the owner/host asked my partner to take a video of his trick pour- then he asked if he could post the video to his reviews. He then scanned the QR code for the restaurant reviews and opened her camera roll and posted it…. And started making a 5 star review before the food even came- I was like “Bro. That’s not how reviews work-“ and he laughed it off… He asked if I had my phone and if would post a review- made a comment about my woman being attractive… So the service was weird - but not bad? They had the match in 3 tvs. The one sat near was behind by 90 seconds - I asked to move to the other side and they made us a table instantly and took care of us. The beers came quick- food came quick and accurate. Not bad - not great - my partner got a dessert that was cold on the outside and warm on the bottom…. But tasted ok. I think this place is catering to tourists and not repeat customers… I had a pretty fun time all said and done and would 💯 go back. Just a bit unusual and pushy for reviews The rest of the staff and customers were fun and created a good atmosphere.

If you really like meat, I wouldn't recommend this place. It’s just okay; the food deals are cheap, but the drinks are super expensive. You might think it's a budget-friendly spot at first, but when the bill arrives, you end up paying 6€ for a single water or Coke. There are definitely better options around. I really don't understand how it has so many good reviews.

Probably the worst steak I've ever had in my life, especially for the 20+ euros they're selling you it for. Absolutely no idea how this place has the rating it does but I wouldn't recommend coming here, just save your money or try something else 🙏🏻

The food was generally good for the price and very fast. My main problem with the place is that we got a waiter who didn't understand English, and even after we told him the menu numbers, he brought us different things. When we told another waiter that we hadn't ordered empanadas, instead of helping us and trying to change things, he just said he was sorry and that was our order. We ate it anyway because we like everything, but the service is terrible. To top it all off, we tried to pay, but they were overwhelmed and wouldn't help us. We had to go to the counter ourselves to pay with the receipt. The waiter, who doesn't speak a word of English (or Spanish), did his utmost to manage a few words of English to ask for a tip for the awful service.

Now that I'm back in Spain, I'm editing my review. The food is good. But going to an Argentinian restaurant and being served in English... One star off. And then, after eating, having the doorman "force" you to give it 5 stars... One star off. And then having that same guy touch my phone... Another star off. Next time, you'll improve those things.
