The Ribeye steak was the best I had in Amsterdam. For someone following a carnivore diet the quality of meat is very important and I don't have any complaints. Don't know where people get to complain about the service , pizza and pasta as they do not have pizza or pasta on the menu and the service was very friendly and good.

This is an Argentinean steakhouse located in an alley in Amsterdam, Netherlands. First of all, it is easy to access. In Amsterdam, you have to go to Luce or Madame Tussauds Museum to find many steakhouses, but this place is only a 5-minute walk from the central station. When I was looking for this place, I saw that the building next door was also called San Thomas, so I thought it was the same place, but it seemed to be operated in two places, with pizzas on one side and steaks on the other. As soon as I entered, a tall man, who seemed to be the owner, welcomed me, and when I said I was alone, he guided me to a table for two near the entrance. I ordered a sirloin steak, a coke, and onion rings. Honestly, the steak was a bit dry, considering that it was sirloin. The meat was delicious, so I ate it with garnish, but if you want a soft and chewy steak, I recommend ordering a different part of the steak instead of sirloin. Since the onion rings were omitted, I received them late after eating the steak, but they were hot, soft, and the best. The person who paid the bill was another male employee, and I didn't ask for a tip, so I didn't give it to him, but he was so kind and said, "Have a nice day~", so I remember it. The day I went here was the last day of my trip to the Netherlands, and it was a bit chilly because the wind was blowing, but I was able to leave the country feeling warm inside. If you want to feel the South American atmosphere while walking around Amsterdam, visit here and eat onion rings and steak! 😋

We were craving meat and found this spot. Their plate of ribs is delicious! Tender meat with just the right amount of bbq sauce, perfect with a side of flavoured rice. We had steak as well, which was just ok. But we did enjoy the mashed potato alongside it which has small potato chunks and not just smooth all the way, love that. The serving is quite huge, so perfect if you're coming in hungry and craving for meat.

I was in this restaurant recently and ordered a 300 gram steak. To my horror, the waitress arrived with a 500 gram steak. At first I thought it was a friendly misunderstanding, but when I couldn't eat the entire steak, it turned out to be anything but. When the bill came, they explained to me that it was their mistake, but I still had to pay for the 500 gram steak. Incredible! A restaurant that doesn't acknowledge its mistakes and makes customers pay for their own failings doesn't deserve to be eaten there. Service, customer orientation and an understanding of fairness are completely missing here. I can only strongly advise against visiting this restaurant!

It is actually the first best steak restaurant that you come across when you step out of the main train station. Clever solution: the same owner or operator serves the Argentinian and Italian restaurant parts. San Thomas is next to San Tomaso A restaurant. The meat at San Thomas was surprisingly good and prepared correctly. The prices were quite high but for a hungry crowd like us it was actually quite acceptable. 200 g of Argentinian entrecôte for €21.95 is okay. Not the most charming operation but still: functionality over aesthetics.
