Mara was very kind and provided excellent service. She advised me on the best cut of meat. Unfortunately, I got full quickly, and she was kind enough to offer to take it home, but unfortunately, we didn't go home right away. It's a lovely, cozy place, and I love the Italian atmosphere.

The restaurant is a block away from the Red Light District in a very touristy area of Amsterdam, yet I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We were a large group on a business trip. The restaurant is warmly decorated; all wood beams and cattle skulls. The service is decent. It seems that the restaurant is managed by Egyptians, but they do a great job running an Argentinian restaurant. John speaks good Arabic and English and was very polite and helpful. The Empanadas were good but most importantly the ribeye was excellent… As good as the ones I had in Buenos Aeries. I did not get a chance to see how they grilled them, open fire or Argentinian style asado but it was nicely charred and very juicy. We had Nachos that did not look great, so I did not eat them. My friends ordered the tomato soup and were also very satisfied. Good job.
