Went here with my uncle. Chef was very hostpital and social. Made us feel at home. He recommended mushroom sauce with our mix grill platter and this was a very good recommendation. The whole platter was cooked to perfection. Absolutely great place to eat

I had an excellent dinner. A good steak, cooked to perfection, was the highlight of the evening — simply delicious 👌. The food, in general, was impeccable, and the atmosphere contributed even more to the experience: pleasant, cozy, and very well cared for. The waiter was extremely polite, attentive, and made everything even better. But, without a doubt, what surprised me the most was the doneness of the meat — tender, juicy, and irresistible. An experience worth repeating!

The food is expensive and very simple and low quantity. Literally the plate is meat, fries and a dry salad (with no special sauce or anything), that and sharing a juice was almost 19 euros!! We went to the Eetsalon, but it was so full and the Steakhouse looked like an option for who was starving. It was so disappoing. We couldn't even share the bill, we needed to pay everything in one card, because Idk. Other than that, they said that there was no bathroom, but they made a exception for my friend to use. I mean, how can a place like this don't let the costumers use the bathroom?? It was Saturday, lunch time and the place was almost empty. The waiter was polite and sweet, but I think the admin should do better.

We went because of the reviews, which were all fake. They treated us like tourists who could be ripped off. They tried to overcharge us, and when we showed them the bill right in front of them, they didn't buy it; they charged us what they owed. The beer was warm and poorly poured, the meat was okay, but the avocado salad was all pre-packaged and had no real avocado. Don't get ripped off; there are so many other places in Amsterdam!

We came for lunch and were truly surprised by the quality of the meat and the friendliness and warmth of the owner. We had three different dishes (three meats, meat lovers, and grilled chicken with vegetables, all accompanied by a good bottle of Argentine red wine), all surprisingly delicious and of excellent quality. The owner was friendly, pleasant, and helpful. A truly wonderful experience, which we highly recommend to anyone looking for a chat and a place to spend time over a good lunch.

Far too expensive for the quality; you even have to pay extra for fries and sauce. While the steak wasn't bad, the thon fillet was completely wasted. The roasted vegetables, however (although at €7) were excellent!

We booked through a social deal. You have to pay extra for many options. We received the wrong starter. The main course was a chicken burger, but it was rather meager, with only one slice of cucumber and one slice of pickle. One chicken burger was burnt. And there was no sauce with the fries. Then came dessert, the tiramisu was still frozen and it arrived far too soon after the main course. They simply ignored us. Not recommended.

We ordered a rumpsteak medium rare and a cheeseburger + a boatload of fries. It was all in all a good experience. The steak came as ordered and was very good. The cheeseburger was very well done as well. The waiters were very nice to us and we enjoyed it very much. Thanks guys.

They made us pay as soon as they brought the food, which I find degrading! We weren't going to run away without paying! We didn't like the service or customer service! They always charged us before even bringing the food or drinks!
