We appeared at 11pm, place was deserted and the owner was in no way phased. He was happy to customise his specials for us, and for the price he charged us the wine was top notch too (I run a bar and drink a LOT of wine). Friendly, relaxed, and perfectly reasonably priced. Hard recommend.

It’s off the main square and you would normally miss it cause of the abundance of other restaurants. We were glad we decided to to venture a little farther down the side street and found this hidden gem. Amazing food reasonably priced with generous portions. Friendly staff clean and enjoyable. Came to Amsterdam and our first stop was this quaint steak restaurant. Very friendly service. Very good food. The steaks were delicious. The salads were fresh and the lamb chops were tasty. Of course I finished my food before even eating. Zeina was a great server and hostess and the chef was friendly and personable. Would definitely come back again!!!!

It was a pleasant surprise — it's on Rembrandtplein and the food is high quality. We had dinner for two (meat and fish) and everything was great.

We had such a great experience at this steakhouse in Amsterdam! The food is American and Mexican-inspired, and everything we ordered was delicious. We tried steak fajitas, and the Hawaiian burger — all were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. What really made the visit stand out, though, was the service. Our server, Steve, was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout the evening. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it easy to relax and enjoy the whole experience. We truly had a wonderful time and would definitely come back!

Under no circumstances should we get close. We arrived starving. I got a ribeye steak with a hair on the plate. Okay, I'm hungry. I'll be fine. It comes in the wrong way. Okay, I'm not complaining. But the taste of the steak was bad. I barely touched it. And I'm not picky about my meat. Answer: Come back tomorrow. We'll take care of you. That's not good compensation because you'll never go back to a place like this in your life.

Great meal, perfect portion, very kind service. Highly recommend the the specials of steak and fries. Small restaurant, can feel a bit cramped during busy times, but please don't let this deter you as it's still a much better experience then picnic seating in the cold near Rembrandt Square.

The meat was super tender (it fell off the ribs) and the ribeye was perfectly cooked on the grill 👌 The service was also very good and friendly. Definitely recommended, we will be back!

I recently visited Steakhouse Tango in Amsterdam and had a really great experience. The steak was cooked perfectly, super flavorful and clearly high quality. You can really tell there’s attention to detail in the preparation. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, ideal both for a relaxed dinner or a night out with friends. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. Definitely a place I’d come back to if you’re a fan of good steak in Amsterdam!

The food is expensive and very simple and low quantity. Literally the plate is meat, fries and a dry salad (with no special sauce or anything), that and sharing a juice was almost 19 euros!! We went to the Eetsalon, but it was so full and the Steakhouse looked like an option for who was starving. It was so disappoing. We couldn't even share the bill, we needed to pay everything in one card, because Idk. Other than that, they said that there was no bathroom, but they made a exception for my friend to use. I mean, how can a place like this don't let the costumers use the bathroom?? It was Saturday, lunch time and the place was almost empty. The waiter was polite and sweet, but I think the admin should do better.

We went because of the reviews, which were all fake. They treated us like tourists who could be ripped off. They tried to overcharge us, and when we showed them the bill right in front of them, they didn't buy it; they charged us what they owed. The beer was warm and poorly poured, the meat was okay, but the avocado salad was all pre-packaged and had no real avocado. Don't get ripped off; there are so many other places in Amsterdam!
