Lovely hidden family owned and run gem.

The steak here is truly amazing! Perfectly prepared and buttery tender, it couldn't have been better. The appetizers were fine, but compared to the main course, they weren't particularly special. In my opinion, the restaurant could still improve on that. All in all, I definitely recommend eating here; the quality is excellent and it's reasonably priced for an Amsterdam restaurant.

As a party of 4 we stumbled across this restaurant & what a find! The food was incredible as well as the service. Nothing was too much trouble and chef even came out to say hi! We all had the Argentinian steak along with a few sides each & sauces and everything was perfectly cooked and the flavours were insane! Will definitely visit again when we are next in Amsterdam

I came here for steak and mushroom dishes after reading reviews. The owner was very friendly, and I was amazed the moment I took a bite of the steak. The mushroom dishes were also excellent!!! It's so delicious, I don't know why more customers don't come here, but if you're traveling, try the recommended dishes here!!!

Had a fantastic business lunch at Saint George! The steak was perfectly cooked, juicy and full of flavor, and the ribs were just as impressive – tender and fall-off-the-bone. The best dinner I had in Amsterdam!!! Everything was extremely tasty, best ribs I ever had! The Argentinian steak perfectly cooked, pepper sauce, fries and salad….delicious The Profiteroles with ice cream in it and the Dame Blanche, all was good!!!! A memorable dinner! Chef Med does respect and sublime his ingredients, his wife Miranda is the sweetest and perfect in the dining room

The St. George 200gm steak was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. It was so tender, juicy and perfectly prepared. The peppercorn sauce was excellent, as well. The steak came with a perfectly cooked baked potato. Part of the restaurant is open air which was perfect for us. Our service was excellent.

They are trying their best but it’s just not there. Menu is limited, Rose is pretty bad and only 1 draft beer in a Beer city.

When the menu is limited, you usually know that whatever is on offer has been perfectly prepared, and that was certainly the case here! One of the best spare ribs I've ever had. And my friends had a delicious steak. The meat is actually sourced from Argentina. This was clearly evident when the chef enthusiastically showed us a piece of meat from the kitchen. Exceptionally kind people with a passion for the business. We will definitely be back!

First place we stopped off the tram. Very cozy. Best ribs I have ever had, such a perfect sauce. The steak was cooked to perfection. Family owned and super nice and accommodating. Great spot to stop, enjoy a beautiful meal, share some laughs, then hit the downtown!

After a morning of hectic travel to get into Amsterdam, we were looking for a quiet place to eat and relax. St. George was the right place! Relaxing vibe, tall cold beer, and delicious St.George steak was had and thoroughly enjoyed. My daughter (who is a picky eater) enjoyed the Empanadas and Fries. I highly recommend the St George Steak with the Argentina Sauce and Fries. The service was great and everyone we spoke to was warm and inviting. Hoping to go again to try the Ribs!!

Do you find yourself in Amsterdam but wishing for a really GOOD steak? Even by American standards? This place is for real. They know how to make a juicy steak, and what “medium rare” means. I am picky where I go for steak even at home. And this place is legit.

We ordered the Saint-George steaks, 200g for €27.50 and 300g for €42.-, but at that price, you'd expect some side dishes. No!!! For that, you have to pay extra, for sauce or salad. Too expensive for what it is: €93.- for two, one meat, one salad!! The wait time between drinks and the meal was too long, even though there weren't many people. The hygiene around the bar leaves something to be desired. Avoid!!

The food was very good. I ordered the ribs, and they were really tasty, well-cooked, and had excellent flavor. Overall, the menu shows great attention to detail, and the quality of the ingredients is outstanding. However, there are a couple of important details that could be improved: there was only one person serving, which made everything slower than necessary. I understand that there may be busy days, but this significantly impacts the experience. Additionally, the bathroom light was off and there was no way to turn it on, either in the men's or women's rooms, which gives the impression that the establishment is lacking basic maintenance. I hope they can fix these details, because the food is worth it. With a little more attention to service and maintenance, the place could be excellent.

Amazing meal and service! What a find and a must visit in Amsterdam. Everything was so fresh and delicious! Our group had the 300g St George steak, ribs, tuna steak, feta salad, chicken wings, provolone, bread and wine. I’m fairly picky about my steak and mine was done to a perfect medium rare with the Argentinian sauce. Amazing! Couldn’t have been more pleased and would highly recommend St George.

Yesterday afternoon we spent an afternoon in Amsterdam. Primarily looking for great craft beer spots, we stumbled upon this place during a food stopover, and it couldn't have been better. Everything is done with a natural approach to ensure you have a pleasant experience. Delicious food, fantastic hospitality, and fantastic service. Our compliments for truly making this beautiful day perfect.

It was my first time in Amsterdam, and our flight landed a little late. This restaurant was the only dine-in place open at the time. The owner offered amazing hospitality and even stayed open later for our group. The wings and ribs were amazing.

A delightful experience from start to finish. We were seated right away, and the server took great care of us throughout the evening. I went with the house specialty — slow-braised lamb with mint yogurt and garlic potatoes. The flavors were bold but well-balanced. The dessert — a pistachio panna cotta — was the cherry on top. Highly recommend for foodies!
