Amigo Grill Restaurant in Jordaan

I booked in advance for Christmas Day and it was a complete success. The service was excellent and the quality of the meat was superb.

An "Argentine" restaurant with an appealing menu. For €49 without drinks (water is €6) you can have a reasonably good lunch or dinner. What they DON'T tell you is that the sauce has a surcharge of just over €3. The service was friendly and the place was quiet.

Had a wonderful evening at Amigo Grill Restaurant, an Argentinian gem right in the heart of Amsterdam. The food was thoughtful and full of flavor the steak was tender, the soup comforting, and the fries perfectly crisp. The vegetables were also beautifully cooked, showing real attention to detail in every dish. A special mention goes to Demian, who made the experience even more enjoyable. He was charming, welcoming, and spoke with me in Arabic, which made the conversation feel friendly and familiar. It’s clear he genuinely cares that every guest has a great time. The overall atmosphere felt warm and inviting a perfect mix of good food, great service, and cozy dining. Definitely a place worth visiting if you’re looking for authentic Argentine flavors and heartfelt hospitality in Amsterdam.

Demian was charming, food was thoughtful, and vegetables was well cooked. He ensured I had a good time. Intimate dining, recommended for 2-3 people. Limited parking.

We stumbled across this place. One of the colleagues came out to speak to us about the menu. He was very welcoming. We wanted to see what else was around. After checking Google and noticing they had fantastic trip advisor reviews as well, we gave it go! The service was super, friendly, warm and welcoming. The vibe was just right as we weren’t looking for anything too ‘boojie’. We placed our drinks order and food order. He remembered all of it without writing anything down. I’m always impressed by this. A nice restaurant/bar. Would highly recommend. I know I do a good steak, but this was by far one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten! It came on a hot plate, so it stays warm. I would definitely recommend a steak from here. The Calzones were huge! Another great option! Absolutely delicious too. Thank you very much Demian. The food is amazing, we ordered the ribeye and some spareribs and it tasted delicious. They make their own sparerib sauce and its one of the best spareribs ive tasted. the owner is a polite and friendly and makes everybody laugh. I recommend this place and i would definitely come back again!

Unsafe tourist trap. If they're willing to break the law by placing chairs and tables in parking lots and an active construction zone, I can't imagine how many health code violations are occurring in the kitchen.

Good sausages, Argentijnse steak. It was a great pitstop with unexpected hearty meal. Hosts are friendly and provided good recommendation. Suggest the steak to be medium raw as it will be served on hot grill.

I'm Brazilian and a tourist. I really needed real food with good, high-quality protein and flavor after a tiring day of sightseeing in Amsterdam! We found this restaurant wonderful! The rice is delicious, the salad has incredible seasoning, and the meats are incredible! Today we had another delicious meal…we ate outside on the terrace, enjoyed the delicious food on the grill and the nice weather…of course the waitress offered me a lemoncello on the house after dinner to finish off…

The food here is truly amazing. I'd generally advise many people against going to Argentinian grills in Amsterdam (because many aren't that good). But Amigo is a truly fantastic place. Their spare ribs are the best I've ever had. And the service is always excellent. The steaks are also really delicious. Definitely recommended for meat lovers.

€6.50 for a liter of water!!! Frozen pizza (but that was to be expected) Dry ribs. Outdoor table located on a parking lot. To top it off, they started arguing with each other inside the restaurant. Go elsewhere.

Guys, here is the most delicious food! Alongside with local restaurants this one offers on lunch not sandwiches but soep, meat, salads grilled plato! We ordered meat plato for 3 and were full! It is so tasty and fast serving! I definitely recommend to go here!
