Very attentive staff. Cozy atmosphere.

The steak was incredibly tender. I asked for medium rare, but it came undercooked. They realized I didn't like it while I was eating it and said they could cook it again, which I did. They were really attentive. The main restaurant is very small, although every place in Amsterdam is like that, small and cramped.

Great food and cost atmosphere. It’s quite busy so we were rushed out unfortunately.

This place is a tourist trap. It presents itself as an Argentinian restaurant, but the reality is that it has nothing to do with authentic Argentinian cuisine: not in flavors, techniques, or ingredient quality. The prices are excessively high for what they offer, clearly designed for those unfamiliar with real Argentinian food who are swayed by the name or the decor. The portions are small and the dishes lack character; even cuts of meat that should be standouts arrive tasteless and poorly prepared. Everything seems designed more for appearances than for actual cooking. If you're looking for a true Argentinian experience—a good asado, honest flavors, and quality—this isn't the place. There are much better and more authentic options without feeling cheated.

A very pleasant place with a welcoming atmosphere. The food was very good (amazing ribeye steak and a large, delicious hamburger), but the best thing about the place is the service. I felt right at home (I'm Argentinian) or like when you're visiting a distant relative and they're constantly trying to make sure you have a wonderful time. I'll definitely be back when I'm in Amsterdam. Special mention goes to Alex, our waiter, and the manager (but everyone checked if we were okay).

Over 40 Euros for a dining experience that resembles a cheap chain steak house. The Chimichurri would make a true Argentinian cringe. The steak was very tough and unseasoned, not even a pinch of salt. The bread appetizer came from a frozen garlic bread box at best and well the atmosphere was just okay due to being cramped. Spend your money elsewhere if you are looking for good a steak. The only thing decent was the service and the olive oil / balsamic vinegar that i covered everything in for flavor.

The meat tasted good, and the spareribs were juicy. The fries were a bit bland; they didn't come with mayo. Booking online gives a 10% discount, but I had to ask for it at checkout. I asked for tap water but got a bottle for €3.50. The staff is also super friendly and the service is excellent. The atmosphere is also great, even on a Monday evening, it was pleasantly packed.

Really great food. The real surprising stand-out was the basic hamburger. They had so much flavor, we had no idea it was coming. We also had the steak, which was great but could have used a tad more seasoning. Dessert was amazing as well.

Everything we ordered was delicious. The short ribs were well prepared. Both the beef and vegetable empanadas were excellent. Service was friendly and attentive but not obtrusive. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming.

Eating in this restaurant was a lovely experience. The staff is attentioned and the food fits in what you can expect in a Argentine restaurant. The waiter even kindly kept the enveloppe I forgot and I picked up later in the evening.

Service was partly unfriendly (receptionist unfriendly, table server very nice). Portions were very small, typical of the Netherlands. I wouldn't go again.

Every year when we're in Amsterdam for a weekend, we eat here. Simply because they serve the most delicious filet steak and the people are incredibly hospitable! Don't forget to order your side dishes. Highly recommended!

The meat is great as well as the service

Perhaps for dinner this place is better. Came for lunch and the place was empty. It took a long time. Food was ok and I didn’t finish my plate. The plate was cold so the meat got cold fast. We often go to places where we pay the dame price and the presentation is so much better. Overall was not a good experience for us.

It was a warm day, but it was surprisingly cool in the restaurant. All the food was beautiful and the menu was very clear as to which foods contained gluten. Absolutely no complaints! The food was fantastic! Beautifully cooked steak and shrimp with chimichurri. The salad and potato sides were all good too! Someone played guitar and sang for a bit during our meal. Had a really nice atmosphere and vibe to the place. Staff were so friendly.

The only downside was that we were seated near the entrance, so we were often cold. That's the only negative I can think of. We will definitely be back!

The service is excellent, and so is the food. My boyfriend ordered steak, and I had salmon. We had salad, boiled potatoes, and a vegetable skewer. We also had Malbec wine, and we felt right at home for a little while (we're from Argentina). I highly recommend it!

Although we received a warm welcome, we were interrupted about ten times by the waiters in the space of ten minutes, asking if everything was alright. When a waiter opened our €45 bottle of wine, the cork fell into the bottle, and instead of offering to open another, he went to ask his colleague to "remove the cork"—not very professional. Furthermore, €20.50 for two chicken skewers (on a diet) with undercooked peppers, unsalted fries, and a salad with only half a slice of tomato is a real shame. That being said, the restaurant has a very nice setting, and the staff is very pleasant and welcoming.

We had an amazing time at La Casona, our waiter was incredibly friendly with a great attitude. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was delicious!

I’m Argentinian. This is not an Argentinian parrilla. My god what a scam. They don’t have the typical dishes or cuts. Where is the asado. Where is the provoleta, the molleja, the entraña. We ended up ordering a 500g tbone which was clearly not tbone nor 500g.

The waiters were charming and did a splendid job, truly. But the manager, he was absolutely livid with the staff, constantly shouting at those poor girls. At our table, he was all smiles, but behind the scenes, he was dreadful. Anyone thinking of working there should know, he really must stop treating the waiters like that.

Well, I must say, the waitstaff were absolutely lovely and did their jobs wonderfully. Sweet, polite, hardworking young people. But my stars, the manager! He simply could not leave them be. Constantly interrupting their work, raising his voice at them without pause. Even while we were sitting there, he went on and on, complaining as if we were part of it! It broke my heart to watch. If anyone is thinking of working there, please, take this to heart and think twice. Those poor girls don’t deserve being treated that way.

We indicated the time limit for a theater performance, and it was perfectly fine. The service was friendly and pleasant, and the food was excellent, truly delicious. Unfortunately, we don't live nearby, otherwise we would definitely eat here more often.

Overall, this Argentinean restaurant is a nice one, considering the ambiance, and the food is quite good (considering Amsterdam's average, which isn't exactly great). The main issue I'd report is the portions. I ordered chorizo ​​and expected a tapas-style main course, and while it was an appetizer, Amsterdam's prices are higher than other cities, I wasn't expecting literally ONE chorizo ​​for almost €8 (pictured). Not recommended, especially for families.

If you hate money, you'll be in the right place. You'll be crammed in with people and get a limited piece of meat with no garnish or plating, and you have to pay extra for everything else. It's the worst restaurant I've ever eaten at.

This restaurant has a very pleasant atmosphere. The staff is friendly and the establishment plays Latin music. I had a great time there.

Overall a great place to dine and to get some really good steaks. The bread could have a bit more grip - it tastes good but feels like a kind of empty dish because it falls a bit behind the quality of the steaks and rest of what you get. A little expensive in my opinion.

Great steak, for a fair price. Service was really chaotic though. While the people are very friendly, our steak arrived first, with the bread starter hot on its heels, and the fries took ages to arrive. So the sequence was not quite right. So taste-wise great, but in terms of full experience, room for improvement.
