A good place to eat a barbecue, it is good for two people. We also ordered an empanada and it was super good. There was only one waiter who spoke Spanish but everyone else was also very nice. The food was very good.

Reservation made for 6pm. Upon arrival there appeared to be no table available and we were referred to a cafe across the street to wait there. It would take about fifteen minutes. There is no place to wait in the restaurant itself. Very strange behavior and very customer unfriendly.

Ate at La Casona in Amsterdam for the first time and it was a great choice. We enjoyed the mix grill for two people: the meat was wonderfully tender and perfectly prepared. The service was not only attentive, but also very friendly and immediately made us feel welcome. What made it extra special was that we were able to enjoy the RMA vs FCB match while eating. A perfect combination of delicious food and a great atmosphere. We will definitely come back again.

Was in the mood for a really nice cut of meat and this place looked like they knew what they were doing. Restaurant was full, but I was lucky and a table opened up just as I entered. It was quickly emptied and cleaned and I was seated and given a menu within minutes. The wine selection is quite small with just a handful of bottles available but the Merlot I ended up with was very good with the food. I didn't look too much on the menu as I quickly ended up with a chorizo sausage as a starter cut in two and pan-fried (this might not fit your tastes, but I absolutely love chorizo in most shapes and ways of preparations) followed by a delicious medium-rare rump steak cooked to perfection. Initially I was not very keen on dessert, but the Sorbet proved too tempting. This proved to be a great decision as it had the greatest whipped cream I've tasted accompanying it (it's whipped cream, how hard can it be? Still the chef proved recalcitrant when I tried to inquire about how this work of art was compiled) I was seated in a way where I was able to observe how the staff were working and I was impressed by how the three people on the floor were prioritizing and communicating. As every competent person who has worked with food quickly realises, warm food needs to be served warm and whenever the dumbwaiter plinged there a member of the staff was bringing the food to the table! They also did everything else right, but if there is one takeaway from this lengthy review; in any restaurants where you can see when the food is done, observe how long it is standing there! A great recommendation if you're looking for a perfectly done cut of meat with quick service and attentive staff. If you're looking for an extensive wine list look elsewhere, but come back here when you're hungry for some meat! Date of visit: Friday 10. Jan 2025

Great meat restaurant with great service and great atmosphere

Food was on the. We had steak with fries herb butter and salad staff very friendly and accommodating. There was nothing to complain about.

Very weak food. Two Argentines went to eat. The first restaurant in my life that wants to charge me for a tray of bread. Also the chimichurri. The meat portions were very small, although tasty. The restaurant was not cheap and I honestly left hungry. I feel like they could make larger portions or give away bread or chimichurri for what they charge. Everything is very scarce.

Recommended! Had an unexpected meal here without a reservation, friendly welcome. Fantastic food, also great for the children. Nice owner and staff. Unfortunately we were in a hurry, otherwise we would have stayed longer. Will definitely come back.

Great restaurant in this nice neighborhood. We loved their dishes, very well prepared on the grill. Very pleasant setting, a well decorated restaurant which made us very comfortable. Polite and friendly waiters. We were treated to a guitar concert by one of the latter who was perfectly in tune with the atmosphere of the place. Honestly we discovered a little thing, it is with pleasure that we will return there. We loved this evening, go for it!!

Service and food quality can be improved. Even after 15 minutes of waiting nobody asked if we wanted a drink, so we asked ourselves for the drinking menu. After we had ordered our drinks our cutlery was taken of our table as another table needed it. About the food: one of our steaks was burned and one had a hamburger which was judged as: Mc Donald's has better ones.

7/10 Our candles went out immediately, and no one lit them :( The food was good but quite ordinary. Grilled corn was a complete miss, and the salad was without dressing. Also they pour very little wine into the glass, but many restaurants are guilty of this.

The premises were good but the place barely deserves enough. First of all, the menu is quite sparse, the courses expensive for what is offered. We took an appetizer described in an attractive way which turned out to be a bowl of nachos (with the flavor of the ones in the bag, reheated) with a small portion of guacamole sauce (I'm not sure it was made by them honestly) and two slices of meat to which we added some chips as they did not come with an accompaniment. Moral of the story we spent quite a bit, ate little and badly and were served very slowly (there were only two tables in the whole place). I don't feel like recommending it, the only positive note is the cute place.

I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant! I had the ribeye steak, and it was incredible. Perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Honestly, one of the best I’ve ever had. Even though the place was super busy, the staff made us feel so welcome, like we were part of their family. They really went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. It’s not just the food that’s amazing—it’s the whole experience. I’ll definitely be back!

I took my partner here for an early birthday dinner before going to a show at the Royal Carré Theater just around the corner. We had the 3-course dinner from SocialDeal, and the food was excellent. We especially enjoyed the atmosphere and amazing service. It was our first time eating at an Argentinian restaurant and made a strong impression.

Absolutely stunning food, came here after doing wine tasting in Amsterdam noord and it was the perfect combo! The owner/manager I think or the main man of the restaurant was so welcoming and lovely! He gave us a Argentinian shot at the end for the slight delay waiting for the table at the start. Just goes to show how busy the place is. Clearly a good sign! The wait wasn’t a bother at all and I would happily come back here again! The sangria was also lovely! Very happy with our meal and time spent here

Overpriced. The meat was not particularly savoury nor tender and the service not impeccable. The staff are young and keen to do a good job. For over 50euros per person you can find better quality food and ambient in Amsterdam.

The wine was delicious. I ordered an ancho steak and it was perfectly cooked, along with the rice. Everything was great.
