It is hard to find good meat here. This is one of the best places I've been in a while.

The best steak I’ve ever had, such a great taste, was so juicy and flavourful. The restaurant was a bit loud and overstimulating but not much can be done there. I’m mentioning it in a more of a “good to know” rather than a negative. The food certainly makes up for it. Service was great, the two waitresses we had were really nice and friendly. Very tourist/English friendly.

Great steaks, informal atmosphere

Argentinian restaurant near the RAI in Amsterdam. The meat is good. They leave the point of the meat nailed. The accompaniments are also good quality. Without a doubt recommended. They close at 10:30 p.m. For two people it was 67 euros.

Came in right before closing but nonetheless they served us a delicious tomahawk steak. Service was excellent. Prices were definitely reasonable for the quality of the steak! Would recommend!

I had an absolutely amazing dinner with my partner this evening. The meat was superbly prepared, incredibly tasty and perfectly served. Of particular note is the quality of the meat, which comes from Argentina, New Zealand and Uruguay - well above the usual standard found in the Netherlands. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The food was so good that only the empty plates can be seen in the photos! Many thanks to Necdet and his boss Kaiser! The fish I saw at our neighboring table also looked very appealing - a great option for those who don't eat meat. For anyone who values ​​excellent meat and great service, I can highly recommend this restaurant!

The server's order taking was nonchalant, we had the impression of disturbing the server who clearly did not want to be there. In addition, the order was taken incorrectly and I was not able to have my accompaniment with my dish. As for the cuisine, the dish was good nothing more, but the presentation was close to nothing. A single steak of salmon with a mini meadow of herbs that didn't do much, it's quite disappointing. I don't recommend.

Very good Picanha meat (medium rare), the mash potato were correct and the vegetables just a bit overcooked but fine ! Service was quick and good. Atmosphere is good just a bit messy and old but you can feel the latina atmosphere.

Just had dinner at Mi sueño, unfortunately not such a pleasant experience. We went out for dinner with 6 of us. The starters were excellent, and also very tasty! Then we had to wait a very long time for our main courses. Once these arrived, the waiter only knew how many grams the piece of meat was and how it was cooked, but not what it was, nor for whom. There was some confusion, but in the end everyone had the correct board. I ordered the tenderloin, medium/well done. It didn't look very appetizing and once cut into it it turned out that it had been cooked very inconsistently. Most pieces are very tough (well-done) and other pieces are just medium rare. When I pointed this out to the waiter, he said he would bring a new piece and took my plate away. A few minutes later the owner came with the plate (and the same piece of meat) and said this was what I ordered. He started cutting into my piece of meat to show it was medium/well done. This was a very strange experience. I stood my ground and said it was not medium well done and eventually he said he would bring a new piece to my wishes. I was allowed to keep the piece I already had. Unfortunately, this new piece was very small and not much better. In the end, it turned out that almost no one was really satisfied with their food. The salmon and chicken were also very dry (baked too long) Only my mother's piece of meat was good. We also had to wait a very long time for our side dishes, some of us were almost done with the meat before the fries, vegetables, rice and sauces for the meat arrived. The vegetable as a side dish was very little and in the end it turned out to be even for 2 people... All in all, not a very pleasant experience, but we had fun with the company.

Nice Restaurant close to the RAI which has very good food and good service. We had a great evening with the Owner and will come back for sure. We recommend you to have a diner there.

Last night we were back at Mi Sueño for my birthday. Delicious food (veal spare ribs!) and the atmosphere is simply great! It's a bit of cycling for us from Java Island, but it's worth it. I haven't been able to find a steakhouse closer to me with a better price/quality ratio. Really TOP and see you soon!

Delicious food after a hard day of work at the fair

For all you carnivores out there visiting Amsterdam, this is a great place to go to outside the center of Amsterdam. In my own neighborhood is my friend's restaurant, Necdet, who is a real professional when it comes to meat and Argentinian delights. Sure, there are great steakhouses in the center, but those are also more expensive. Here in Amsterdam South, Maastraat 40, is Mi Sueno. Which stands for ‘My Dream’ to start his own restaurant and so he did, many many years ago. All these years the quality of the meat has remained the same. The host and owner is a great man, knows meat the best, and his house wines are also great. My favorites are Tres Carnes or the Tomahawk. When you make a reservation reserve your Tomahawk in time. Price is totally normal and acceptable. So, we might meet here in my own neighborhood as well.

Food and service were very good

We went for the first time about a month ago with our children, the owner is really a wonderful person, we felt like we were at home, the service is excellent. I haven't eaten such good meat in a long time, the sauces are different, the salads, the burgers, everything is prepared with care and love and we are there again for dinner today.

Always a tasty piece of meat! I've been living here in this neighborhood for a year now and this has definitely become one of my favorite restaurants :-) Yesterday I also had the prawns from the grill and they were delicious

Highly recommended, it has been around for years and the owner still walks by the tables to see if everything is to your liking. Price/quality is just fine here. And you can order your Ribeye as big as you want, so if you like meat... a must!!! We usually go for the 600gr and then share...

Although the place is nice and service was good, I was disappointed with food. Spareribs way too cooked, no flavour at all, same applies to sides dishes.

How does this place have such good reviews? Where do I start?! 1. Bread with aioli and chimichurri: bread was old, clearly shoved in oven to appear fresh. They may wish to Google chimichurri and aioli because what they served was neither. Clearly store bought as they tasted metallic 2. Grilled veg: old, watery and tasteless 3. Fries: clearly not home made with cheap mayo 4. Meat: not seasoned and had a strange texture. Not let to rest before serving - a novice knows to do this! Not a single good thing to say about the food. Some extremely easy improvements to be made here. Clearly unsatisfied with our food but no attempts made to salvage the situation

The sauces and veg were tasteless and appeared to be frozen. Chimmichurri sauce was terrible. 500g Ribeye had an unpleasant, meaty taste and felt unseasoned. Overall bad experience and would recommend the restaurant to up their skills.

The fillet steak was excellent accompanied with delicious side dishes. The staff was very kind and service was fast.

Hier voor de tweede keer gegeten. Onze eerste keer was op een Koningsdag en was toen erg druk, maar de kwaliteit en gezelligheid kwam daardoor niet in het geding. De tweede keer was het wat rustiger en weer super gegeten. Mijn vrouw had lever besteld en het is daarmee altijd de vraag of die goed gebakken wordt en hij was erg goed. Verder ribeye en iets van drie soorten vlees. Allemaal mals en gebakken zoals wij gevraagd hadden. Paar bollen gepofte knoflook, gebakken groenten, bonen en de maaltijd was compleet. Bediening erg vriendelijk. Prijs en kwaliteit zeker goed.

Fantastisch vlees! Gezellig sfeer en leuke bediening. We gaan snel weer.

Very cozy atmosphere, good food and service

Very nice restaurant with a good vibe. Waiters were friendly an cooperative with explaining the menu.

Loved the cosy atmosphere and the super gentle staff. My request to dine in was accommodated even if I knocked at their door very late. The meat was delicious. A shame that out of 4 pieces 1 was way more chewy than it should have otherwise it would have been a 5 stars review. I didn't particularly enjoy the seasoning of the potatoes but it was clearly called out in the menu, so I consider it a matter of personal taste. Both red wine options I was offered were really good.

Goede verse respectvol bereidde produkten. Goede grill kok, Vanavond hebben wij heerlijk bereid eten Mogen eten ,waarvoor Dank! En werd er keurig rekening gehouden met het afwezig houden van Peper. Ook heel heerlijk waren de friet uit schone olie, heden ten dage een zeldzaamheid!!

Matig, weinig vlees voor het geld. Ze hebben geen mixgril met meer soorten vlees. Ze hebben alleen een mix met 2 soorten vlees en dan krijg je best weinig voor het geld. Ik had beter verwacht door al die revieuws. En het toetje was niet lekker, die soesjes waren gorddroog.

Food. Steaks. They recommend the Australian rib-eye. In retrospect should have gone with a fillet. The steak fries were excellent. The grilled lamb chops were good Ambience and location. Walking distance from the RAI and on the tram stop.

Komen hier een aantal keren per jaar. Eigenaar is altijd vriendelijk en herkent zijn vaste klanten. Goed vlees en altijd gezellig. Het is er knus dus houd er rekening mee dat er geen zee van ruimte tussen de gasten is. De een vind dat juist gezellig de ander kan dat als storend ervaren. In de service wisseld er veel en de ervaring in de horeca mist soms. Geduld en begrip voor jonger personeel dat de kneepjes van het vak soms nog moet leren is wel vereist. Maar ze doen altijd hun uiterste best om het de gast naar de zin te maken. Top tentje.

Heerlijk eten, goede service. Porties waren ruim. Prijs voor Amsterdam zeker goed. Wij komen hier zeker terug. Veel soorten vlees met duidelijke uitleg over verschillen. Men weet duidelijk waar ze het over hebben

We kwamen hier vaker, maar toch waren we hier 4 jaar geleden voor het laatst. Enig minpuntje vonden we altijd dat de tafels dicht op elkaar staan. Zo dicht dat je de gesprekken van de mensen naast je prima kunt volgen en zelfs mee kan praten. Maar dat namen we voor lief, omdat het vlees echt hemels smaakte. Helaas lijkt het restaurant daarin achteruit te zijn gegaan. Het vlees was taai en de grill smaak ontbrak. Dit was wel de laatste keer voor ons.

The food here was lovely, steaks fabulous, and also the vegetable fajitas (although carrots are an odd vegetable to include!). Tuba the waitress was so friendly. However, the kitchen messed up our sides (which are charged for separately), and we received the wrong ones, so our steaks Sat at the table for quite a while while they corrected this and cooked the right ones. No offer to remove any one of them off the bill or offer a complimentary drink /coffee etc as an apology for what was effectively a cold steak with hot side dishes. Then they cleared up around the last person to finish eating and stacked up the chairs around us when we had coffees. We were then given the wrong bill completely. Good food, but could be a better meal.

A nice small restaurant with amazing atmosphere and even better service. The multilingual staff make amazing food of which I wish my stomach were bigger so I could eat more. The owner was very nice and was even able to get me a table when I didn't have a reservation and was alone. Truly a great place to go!

Heerlijk gegeten. Vriendelijke bediening, prima prijzen. Meerdere voorgerechten geproefd (heerlijke carpaccio, zalige provolone, goede zalm). Goeie steaks met lekkere bijgerechten. Aanrader!
