The beef tenderloin (#19 in menu) was excellently done to perfection. The chef grilled the steak to the degree that everyone requested. The servers and manager were super friendly and welcoming. They made nice suggestions for sides. The portions were big and fulfilling. Definitely highly recommended

At first, it was a little "strange." I made a reservation for 2:30 pm and there was nobody in the dining room, just a few tables outside, perhaps because by that time the "Europeans" had already eaten. The service was very good and attentive, and the meat was simply SPECTACULAR, as was the rib. Everything was cooked perfectly, although it was all unsalted; you have to add your own salt. The prices are reasonable for the quality, except for the bread and drinks, which I found excessively expensive, although that's common throughout the area. It's worth it for the meat alone.

Quality Argentinean meat; we ordered two fillets and an Angus sirloin, cooked to perfection and delicious, served with a small mixed salad. They ask you what sauce you'd like, and naturally, we asked for olive oil and salt. The only thing missing was bread, which wasn't provided at the table. The tables are wooden and bare, with no placemats, just napkins, cutlery, and a glass. It seemed a bit strange to me, but I've since seen it's often the same in other restaurants.

Spectacular meat—tender, juicy, and delicious. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Everything was great. I highly recommend it.

We have visited restaurant during our recent trip to Amsterdam. We were seating for good 15 minutes before we were asked for a drinks.. Another 10 minutes for drinks to be served. And another 15 minutes to order a food : only because we brought attention of another stuff member who look like he was 'in charge'. So overall over an 1 hour to get food. Service seems sort of slow and disorganised. I liked the food though - steak came delicious . Power outlet on the wall was loose and dodgy.

You can immediately taste the quality of the meat and the care that goes into preparing it. But what really makes this place special is the local atmosphere and the people. The service was warm, genuine and welcoming, with that authentic local character that makes you feel like a guest rather than just another customer. Great food, excellent meat, wonderful people and a truly authentic atmosphere. This is exactly what a great steakhouse should be — simple, local and focused on doing one thing exceptionally well: great steak. Highly recommended. I would happily come back anytime!

My husband loves meat, and his experience was excellent—he loved it! But I'm going to tell you about my own experience. I prefer seafood, and I chose grilled shrimp. I've eaten this in many places around the world, but these were the best I've ever had! The flavor was so subtle and the texture so delicate that it really let the seafood shine through. It was delicious! I 100% recommend it; you won't regret it.

Mario is very attentive and knows how to receive guests very well. I recommend him. The meat is wonderful.

The service was top notch, but it was a shame that people were allowed to smoke cigarettes and cigars around the tables. The food was also pretty good, nothing you can really complain about.

A very nice experience overall. The food was good, but not spectacular. There were a couple of small issues, but the staff noticed and fixed them immediately, which we really appreciated. The service was attentive and friendly throughout the meal, and we felt very well looked after. We chose to sit outside, which was a little chilly, but we were given the option to move inside. The location is lovely, with a great view of all the boats passing by. A pleasant place to enjoy a good meal, and the attentive service definitely made the experience even better.

Wonderful spot for a great steak dinner! We ordered the 3 steak sampler plus the ribeye. ribeye was cooked perfectly. The chimichuri sauce was a great addition. Request a spot by the canal for great atmosphere and people watching!

I simply cannot understand the many positive reviews. The service was adequate, but by no means particularly attentive. The food was, at best, average and disappointing for a steakhouse. Instead of the promised sour cream, the baked potato came with only a packet of butter. Salt and pepper were also only available in the form of cheap spice shakers – truly questionable for a steakhouse. The mixed salad was carelessly presented, with brown lettuce leaves and no dressing. My steak was also not cooked medium, and the quality of the meat was mediocre at best. All in all, a very disappointing visit. A steakhouse that relies on packets of butter and individual sauces falls far short of my expectations. The numerous positive reviews are therefore difficult for me to comprehend.

I found a truly delicious restaurant. I had the sirloin steak, and I highly recommend it. The meat was tender, and adding the clean sauce, salad, and french fries made it absolutely perfect. I would love to visit this place again with a friend next time. Above all, the owner and staff are incredibly friendly!!! It is a place that is bound to succeed.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I genuinely have no idea where all the positive reviews are coming from. I ordered the lamb chops with a baked potato. The quality of the meat felt extremely low; the few bits on the bone were either completely dried out or so fatty they were practically inedible. My colleagues ordered the trio meat platter and had a similar experience—despite being cooked pink, the meat was tough and lacked flavor. The side salad was lifeless with barely any dressing. Furthermore, the potato was advertised with sour cream, but instead, we were served packaged butter. The service team seemed annoyed and didn't even bother asking some of us for our preferred doneness. The prices might look fair at first glance, but for what you actually get, it is wildly overpriced. Definitely stay away!

If you are looking for a perfect entrecôte/ribeye in Amsterdam this is the place! Great on steak, but steer clear of mixed vegetables as a side dish. Had a bottle of good Malbech which matched perfectly!

What can I say... The meat is very good. The price is a bit high, but that's understandable given the current state of things. The atmosphere is fantastic, right in the heart of the Red Light District and next to a lovely canal. Very romantic. The staff seem tired but very attentive to the customers. I understand they work all day for fair wages. Even so, the service is impeccable.

I don’t believe nobody on the staff of the restaurant are Argentinian, the food was really bad, the meat was not ok, absolutely I will never eat again on this place. I do not recommended at all

The food was delicious, the churrasco was spectacular, period. The service was very attentive and friendly. The location is very pleasant; you can eat outdoors next to the canal.

We ordered the ribeye, Fillet, T-bone and prawns. The ribeye and Fillet are cooked perfect with a beautiful pink colour on the middle, very juicy as well. However, the T-bone was a little tough, which lower some of the food score. The prawns were charcoal perfectly and very fresh. Sides including frech fries, rice and jacket potatos were very good. Personally I love the rice. There are a huge improvement in services, although the manager was very polite and helpful, however, there are much more improvement with the other servers, they might need a little more training. They ignored us a few times and forgot about our order. However, the manager manage them well, that is why we gave them 3 stars. The Atmospher is quite decent, however as I went in the summer, and sat quite inside, it was quite hot, and dark, thats why with the 3 stars.

We ordered two steaks along with potatoes and garlic bread as side dishes, and we enjoyed the meal. The owner and staff were friendly, and while there is a terrace outside where you can sit, you can also move outside if you choose to sit inside.
