How this place is 4.6/5 is unbelievable, froze oven chips and onion rings, garlic bread is given to you as bread and garlic butter which I got charged twice for, the lamb cutlets where disgusting food took about a hour and a half to arrive and some starters missing, avoid if you enjoy quality food!

We dined in the restaurant 3 times for lunch while in Armsterdam. The food is amazing, the price is very reasonable, and bbq rib is my favourite. The restaurant is on the bank of canal and is not crowded, so you relax and enjoy canal views. Manager Morris(?) is very warm and friendly. I will go back if I'm in Armsterdam again.

The service is impeccable: welcoming, smiling, and very professional staff. The atmosphere is warm and you immediately feel at home. Honestly, one of the best restaurants I've tried recently. Had an unexpeted nice diner during unplanned day out in Amsterdam

The food was great. Tenderloin steaks were done just right. Ice cream on the house for the under aged because the elders got a free shot of self made lemonchello. If you’re looking for a great steak this is the place.

Came here as we were relatively close at the Xtreme ice bar. Food and service were spectacular. Four of us came on a Friday night without a reservation and were seated straight away. The wait for the food was about 15 minutes and it was worth it. The food was absolutely amazing and as someone who does not go to steak restaurants too often I was amazed. Would 100% recommend if in the area.

Saw good reviews so we came here. Steaks are great! Lovely view of the canal and the service was friendly and fast. Even chatted to a couple locals at the next table. If locals go, you know it's good.

The friendly service was the winner for Saint Morris! The staff were so kind, friendly, welcoming. The prices were standard, as was the food! Never again. I don't usually write reviews, but this time I couldn't help it. We had to wait far too long for everything. About 15 minutes for our drinks and 1.5 hours for the food. The service was very rude and had no interest in making us feel comfortable. The restrooms had no drying facilities. The food was not good. The chicken kebab was very tough and cold. My rump steak was cold. I didn't see the point in tipping for this service. When the waitress noticed, she became really rude and turned around angrily. Never again.

Okay, we don't speak the language, but we're not suckers either... As a starting price, there are photos on the outdoor poster that we can't find inside. So I show the photo, and they explain that it's more expensive because there's more meat. Why not, but after analyzing the bill, the fries were no longer included on the menu, nor the salad, all charged extra. We could surely have gotten a refund, but hey...we didn't really want to go back. The meat was good and well cooked.

Maybe we were just unlucky, because so much praise is given to the service and food here – unfortunately, we can't praise either. The waitress was unfriendly, everything took a very long time, and ultimately, the food was anything but outstanding. The meat itself is good! However, it was tasteless. We had a chicken kebab skewer (which was simply chicken with no seasoning at all and some green peppers on a skewer – for over €20) and a steak mix plate (similar here: good meat but no flavor). The fries were unsalted, and we had to wait a very long time for ketchup and mayo, even though the food was already on the table. In the end, we lost €100 and had one unpleasant and unnecessary restaurant visit richer.

Great place to eat great meat! We had an appetizer, a main course with side dish and a dessert and everything was delicious! The price was great for everything we ate! One of the best restaurants in Amsterdam!

Ordered medium rare, both rib eyes were over cooked, almost well done. Didn't complain, tried some light conversation with the manager who was very rude. Cau a much better option round the corner.

This was a great spot! Quiet, beautiful steak dinner by the water. The sirloin was perfectly cooked and flavorful (Americans - if it feels like it needs seasoning, add some - it’s your taste buds that are so used to salty and processed food - the US uses a lot more salt). The baked potato was perfectly steamed. The garnish of salad, fresh tomato and cucumber were such a nice contrast to the steak.

The mixed grill was intense, wide selection of meats, definitely a good decision coming here 10/10

Came here on the strength of the fake reviews so far. The steak tasted of nothing but sadness and suffering, presumably by how much the poor bastard had been waterboarded before slaughter. Couple this with wine from a carton and you have all the ingredients you need. Go somewhere else. Dreadful!

Restaurant in the center of Amsterdam. The starting prices are attractive, but inside, everything changes... Even if the meat is very good, you quickly end up with a hefty bill. Everything has to be added, fries, butter, etc. On the other hand, something unacceptable is the return of unfinished glasses of wine.... These are the reasons why I don't recommend this restaurant.

A really cozy and relaxing atmosphere with great service and food! Portion size options were wide enough to satisfy even the hungriest person after a long day of walking around the city. I’d definitely recommend going here. There’s one small tip though if you’re really specific about your steak’s doneness. They serve the steaks on a hot cast iron skillet, so maybe ask for it to be one step down from where you like it, and a separate plate to transfer the steak to, since the meat isn’t rested yet and will still keep cooking on your table.

Price is on the relatively high side (not too expensive though), Meat/seafood quality is on the relatively low side (not totally terrible though). So the overall cost-gain is not quite high. La camarera intentó decirnos que pediremos más comida de la que queremos comer. No me gustó.
