The food was terrible. Dont get me started on the ribs, one bite and we didn’t eat more. Two plates nothing was eaten. And the staff? Didn’t care, didn’t offer anything for us to eat and even asked us to pay for everything. Don’t go there!!!

The grilled food and pizza were good, and all the food was from a good restaurant.

When the meat came in it didn't smell good. And the taste was the same. Ordered 350g and couldn't eat more than 1/3. No one in the group could finish it. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

The service was slightly overwhelmed with our party of seven. Cutlery wasn't provided directly with the food; we had to get it ourselves, and then it was placed on the table again. Some orders were forgotten because nothing was written down. Be prepared to be patient when paying, as once you have your order, the customer is practically ignored. It's somewhat tolerable sober, but you probably wouldn't notice the details if you were drunk.

We ate here last Wednesday. We had a great dinner for 18.80. The atmosphere was good and the waiter came by during the meal to ask if we were happy. Even after we had paid, the waiter remained friendly and kept chatting pleasantly. The food was very good, definitely recommended. The cut of meat that you can buy separately is also amazing, full of flavor and nice and juicy. It is highly recommended to go here. A hidden gem!

Casa del Toro in Amsterdam has a nice atmosphere and a cozy location, but unfortunately, our experience was somewhat mixed. The food itself was decent and the portions were fine, but we found some dishes to be a bit oddly composed and not quite what we had expected. Not bad, but not really special either. What we did find very strange was that different prices were listed on certain signs than were ultimately charged on the bill. When we pointed this out, we didn't receive a very friendly response. In any case, we noticed that the staff became a lot less friendly the moment no tip was given and we asked questions about the price difference. That didn't give us a pleasant feeling. Additionally, the toilets were clean, but clearly outdated. There was also no paper for handwashing, which is something you simply expect to be in order in a restaurant. All in all, not a dramatic experience, but there are plenty of places in Amsterdam where service and value for money are better balanced.

Fabulous drink and pizza here! Delicious pepperoni pizza washed down with a perfect Aperol spritz and a very cold beer. Staff lovely, polite and incredibly helpful. Highly recommend!!

I am really never coming here again!!!!!!!!! This restaurant isn't even worth 1 star. I got food poisoning!!!!!!!!!!! 1. I was given the wrong drink. 2. There was a bug in my food. So I wanted to get some food, but it actually didn't want to take my plate. 3. The food didn't arrive at the table at the same time. 4. I had asked for pepper sauce, but I never got it. 5. The man in the kitchen was wearing a coat and was just standing there washing his face in the kitchen. 6. The service was really ridiculously bad. When we complained about it, we didn't even get a "have a nice day." Truly a very bad experience. They will never see me here again.

Service was a bit slow and the pizza was below average. Orange juice was not fresh and more than half of the glass was filled with ice.

We had the pizza shawarma, which had no idea what it was supposed to have to do with shawarma. The sauce was completely unseasoned and the dough was bland. We also had the vegan burger, which wasn't really good either; the fries were undersalted, but otherwise it was actually pretty good (hence the two stars). The atmosphere was very strange, with loud music and football on. The service was bad; drinks arrived after the food, and the extra mayo we asked for never came. At least the burger was reasonably priced, but the pizza was actually too expensive.

Friendly service, food not so great. Chicken Schitzel was over cooked and very dried out. A few bites and i couldnt eat the rest. The Bruscheta was not Italian at all. It was a plate of old HARD bread rolls smothered with cheese then baked. No tomatoes at all... they dont know what bruscheta is. When I mentioned how dry the chicken was.. no response, the server just ignored my comment. A hard pass, will not return.

We were there with a group of girls and the service, food, and restrooms were terrible! The server barely listened to us, took our order incorrectly, and then charged us wrong, so we ended up paying more than we should have. The salad had no dressing, and the unseasoned fries were so small you could count them on one hand. Not recommended at all!!!

This restaurant is very underrated. I tried the ribeye steak, and it was absolutely amazing. The chicken was incredible. Both the meat and chicken are halal. The prices are very reasonable. The owner is a very respectable Egyptian man who is dedicated to his work. I wish him all the best.

Worst restaurant experience ever – truly MEGA bad I've rarely had such a bad experience. This was honestly absolutely terrible. First of all, the staff: completely disinterested. They walked around as if they didn't care, barely looking at us, and were preoccupied with everything but their work. There were even children/babies running around, which just seemed incredibly unprofessional. We were the only guests in the entire restaurant, and yet we had to keep raising our hands and literally asking them to come to our table. Bizarre. Then the food. Truly… terrible. Dry, tasteless, no seasoning, no love. It felt like everything had been effortlessly thrown onto the plate. No flavor, no texture, nothing. For dessert, we had tiramisu, but it was the absolute worst. Clearly not homemade. Just a cheap, frozen supermarket tiramisu. Tasted like it had just come out of the freezer. Starbucks level, only worse. You really can't serve this in a "restaurant" for real. The atmosphere was the worst part (in the worst possible way). Empty, cold, and uninviting. The interior was ugly and cluttered; it felt more like a sad kebab shop than a place you'd want to enjoy a meal. All in all: bad service, bad food, bad atmosphere. Never again. Save yourself the trouble and eat somewhere else.

I absolutely do not recommend this place. We only ordered a toast and a burger. The toast was bland and tasteless, and the waiter was very unpleasant. The place wasn't very clean, and they charged us an extra €1 for ketchup! I should mention, however, that the young man who served us was very friendly. Avoid this place at all costs.

Delicious focaccia. Delicious pizza. Delicious tiramisu. Unfortunately, it was refrigerated and not homemade. The restrooms were awful, very dirty. It might be better if you don't have to. The ambiance feels very dated. If you don't care much for a modern look, this is a good place to stay. The pizza tasted good. The music was way too loud. And unfortunately, the blonde wasn't there.

i went here a couple years ago and they were closing but still let myself and a friend in: i had t bone steak and fries and it’s still the best i’ve had till date. there was a portuguese or brazilian guy that cooked n served us, he got all the stars

Everything was delicious. I thought the food would be different from the photos, but surprisingly, it was the same! And the best part was that it was super tasty! Excellent seasoning. The wait wasn't long, and the chicken was tender and soft enough for roasting. Highly recommended!

I was in front the kitchen for speak with a few chefs but only hossam (the real chef) follow the haccp rules, and saw lot of rats in the corner of the pizzeria,the kitchen is dirty and the boss it is always drunk.

Ordered a vegan burger- It was the driest and tasteless burger I ever had. The "salad" that came with it was just chopped lettuce. The food was way too overpriced for what I received. The toilets are disgusting and partially broken. The service was friendly and quick.

We ordered one pizza, lasagna, and some drinks. The waiter was polite and even joked with us, which is why I’m giving 3 stars. However, while eating the lasagna, I bit into a small hard piece of something. At first, I thought it was a bone or some food, but it turned out to be a piece of porcelain. I tried to continue eating, but frankly, I lost my appetite. We informed the waiter so that the kitchen would be aware. They should be more careful with their dishes. The food tasted just average, and I could have broken a tooth.

I was so impressed with the atmosphere and design at Casa Del Toro! The attention to detail in the dining area is amazing. It’s the kind of place you want to spend hours in. Just a little suggestion—if you brought that same great style and energy into the restrooms, it would be a five-star experience from start to finish.

There were six of us, all with different food. The schnitzel was dry, the burgers were carelessly slapped together and lacked sauce, and the accompanying salads were hardly salads. The fajitas were dry. The drinks were okay, but you can't really go wrong with them. The restrooms were disgusting and in need of repair. One of them didn't even have a flush. So they probably only clean them at the end of the day. All in all, it was an expensive restaurant visit that didn't leave you feeling full.
