Very nice and cozy place. Food is amazing, good price and well served. Our host Andrew was very polite and friendly.

South American atmosphere in terms of music and decor. Smiling and friendly staff. Chicken steak and chicken salad dishes were delicious, but it is recommended to order sauce as well. Pepper sauce and garlic sauce were successful with these dishes. There is also a vegan dish of vegetable salad with vegetable cutlets.

Great place to dine in, we sat outside on the curbside, eat great stake (Tres Carnes - Mixed Grill with Rump, Sirloin & Fillet Stake), & great service.

We ordered two mixed grills for four people, each costing €36. The waiter insisted we each had to pay €36, for a total of €144, when we should have paid €72. The food wasn't bad, but to avoid any trouble, we paid the wrong amount. It was excessive for what we actually got.

Absolutely amazing experience! The T-bone steak was cooked to perfection juicy, tender, and full of rich flavor in every bite. The garlic bread was warm, crispy, and incredibly buttery, while the mozzarella sticks were perfectly golden with that satisfying cheese pull. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service made the whole evening even better. Definitely one of the best steak dinners we’ve had and we can’t wait to come back!

Ok we were very hungry and drunk and sit with “0” expectations. I cant say it was delicious or best but it was enough. Would i come again? I dont think so but okish place to eat and continue. Zeedijk has a lot more to offer if you do your research. Price are Amsterdam tourist prices and we did not expect to eat steak for eur 15.00. Waiters were very attentive and i cant say anything negative. Just cola for eur 6.90 its quite a lot.

A textbook tourist trap. Four people paid €140 and the food was practically nonexistent; I left hungrier than when I arrived. Everything was terrible, absolutely terrible. Don't go, don't waste your money here.

Rude waiter. The tables were completely empty. Each table had a napkin, and they used it to place a fork and knife. There were four of us, but one girl didn't want to eat and didn't order anything. The three of us each ordered a steak and a glass of draft beer. We each asked for a well-done steak, without blood, and were told this several times. He repeated many times that there would be no blood in the steak. I used my napkin to wipe my fork and knife (they weren't very clean). Our food arrived, and I asked for napkins. The waiter said, "Get a napkin from the girl who's not eating, I won't bring one." Am I the problem with napkins? The waiter was. To say I was shocked is an understatement... but that was the beginning... The beer tasted watered down!!!... The steak was rare! Every steak was rare, unsalted, without any seasonings or salad... I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT TO ANYONE!!!

With four friends, we were looking for a restaurant. While looking at the menu outside, the owner came to get us and invited us in—very friendly... Once seated, the service was appalling. The waitress made no effort whatsoever, clearing plates before everyone had finished eating. The table was barely cleared when the waitress brought us the bill without even asking. Then, they kicked us out at 11 p.m. on a Saturday night... Avoid at all costs...

Horrible! The waiter came to get us while we were looking at the menu. We thought it was a welcoming restaurant, but it absolutely wasn't... Completely unprofessional: he put his fingers in our glasses, cleared our plates while everyone at the table hadn't finished eating, and just watched us eat. He refused service to people, saying "tourists out!" He cleaned up the terrace behind us while we were still eating. After we paid the bill, the owner raised her voice to throw us out because it was late, 11 pm. I strongly advise against going there.

Two people paid €95. One main course each, one baked potato each, and two beers (one large and one medium) for €95. We know the city is expensive, but this is outrageous...

Steak was cold and not cooked to standard. Customer service was horrible. Argentina sauce has cilantro but it doesn't specify on menu. Asked them to take if off but they refused.

The food is okay, the service is friendly. But €6.90 for a Heineken 0.0 is ridiculous. And when I mentioned it, the response was: "Are you even from Amsterdam...?"

They advertise themselves as an Argentinian restaurant, but it has nothing to do with Argentinian cuisine. The chorizo ​​was terrible, the ribs had burnt and unappetizing sauce, the chimichurri was just a tomato sauce with Provençal spices, the salad was awful—a bad experience.

Honest meat, very good quality cuts

Al Argentino is nestled among a plethora of primarily Argentinian and Italian restaurants on Zeedijk and Warmoesstraat. We noticed that it was one of the few restaurants that didn't look like a company cafeteria, but rather cozy with wide benches and large wooden tables. The owner, who came out, was very kind and friendly. So we went in. Considering the price, the food was excellent; you shouldn't expect culinary delights in this type of restaurant. The service was excellent, and we sat in a wonderfully quiet place without any noise around us. And importantly, the restrooms were nice and very clean!

The service was fast and kind, the skewer I took cooked as requested and delicious meat both in flavour and softness of it, the very delicate and appropriate mushroom sauce, crispy and light-coloured fries, synonymous with freshly put oil, a delicious place and characteristic interior characteristic of pub or Argentine brazier.

A great steakhouse There are many Chinese restaurants and several steakhouses on this street, but I decided to choose this one because it had tenderloin. Environment: The entrance looks small, but it's quite spacious inside. There are plenty of tables and it's comfortable. Dishes: 1) 200oz tenderloin, charcoal-grilled to perfection: tender and crumb-free, with a charcoal aroma that permeates every bite. 2) Shrimp in red wine sauce: chewy and delicious. 3) Grilled vegetables: very good.

My husband and I had just gotten into town and were out exploring when we came across this Argentine steakhouse near the red light district. We were welcomed right away and got a cozy window seat—perfect for people-watching. Our ribeyes were cooked just how we ordered, medium rare, and our host was friendly and easy to talk to. A great little find for our first night in the city.

We ordered the Pinchos De Agentina (Grilled beef brochettes) and Tres Carnes (Mixed Grill) to try, the meat were cooked to medium as we wanted and side salad and chips were a good portion, not too much and not too little, just the right amount. The overall meal itself is good and the only let down was the beer (Corona) was not cold. The staff were welcoming and the place have a very nice atmosphere.
