Casa Thai in Rotterdam Centrum

Yesterday, a group of six dined here for my girlfriend's birthday. Tony (the owner) is passionate and loving, and he knows how to create beautiful Thai cuisine. With the perfect balance of flavors in every dish, he perfectly orchestrated our evening. We had a wonderful evening. Casa Thai, thank you so much! We'll definitely be back.

We ate here with a group of six people for my birthday. It was a wonderfully pleasant surprise for me. My boyfriend and I were in Thailand for two months. You can really tell the owner is passionate and very involved. The flavors were truly authentic. We just got back, but this was a wonderful re-experience! She's back and tried several other places, but this was a real standout! We'll definitely be back. I dare say this will become my go-to spot for Khao Soi and Mango sticky rice, and my dog ​​was welcome too! +++ My favorite dishes from Thailand; everything else was also incredibly good! These will remain my favorites!

Everything was amazing 👏. Excellent service and very friendly. We ordered surprise menu and it was something the chef chose for us. 2 main dishes, 4 starters and 2 desserts. They were delicious!!!

That's my dessert as you can see is empty:0. Food was fine . Starters was the best pretty happy with price - service - taste . Courses are enough to fill a person. Head ups to our waiter Henry helpful and considerate, nice to see young people like him .

The food was delicious!! (We ordered Satay, pad thai, curry, and two drinks) and the staff was very friendly!! It was very crowded, and the only thing I didn't like much was that at the table on the left, in the corner, there wasn't enough room to pass by and sit down, and since we were so close, we could hear the couple next to us more because they were talking so loudly. But everything else was great!!

Fast delivery. However, the food was disappointing. The massaman was bland, very watery, and the chicken was dry. The butterfly shrimp were limp. Such a shame!

The food was delicious and authentic! As a Caribbean chef and foodie, it was a real treat. You could taste the love in the food. Wonderful flavors that made you feel like you were in Thailand. The service and the dish recommendations were top-notch! Our favorite was the Pork Belly and creamy Tom Yum soup. The cocktails are also highly recommended. We will definitely be back to eat here. Casa Thai is a small restaurant with a super nice and stylish interior. They also have a patio area outside. You feel welcome here; the staff is friendly and comes repeatedly to ask if everything is to your liking. Then there's the food—we had a blast! It's a flavor explosion of well-seasoned dishes. 🤩 The homemade iced teas on the menu are also delicious! (A bit pricey, though). We shared two appetizers for three people, then each had our own main course (I couldn't finish the pad Thai so I bought it in a takeaway container) and two desserts. We enjoyed everything, and the presentation is also very good. The hot tea was also nicely served in cute little teacups. We will definitely be back to try more! 😍

Anthonio was so attentive! 😻 As soon as we arrived, he came to our table to help us choose dishes from the menu. He regularly checked on us to make sure everything was to our liking. The food was delicious and fresh—a real 10/10! The service was also a solid 10/10. I'm definitely coming back!

This restaurant is so so good. From the food, cocktails and the service by Tony! Loved it! I definitely recommend and I’m definitely coming back. Also if you want the spicey version of dishes , you should try it! We did and enjoyed every bit of it 10/10

We don't give 5 stars to restaurants that easily and in this case we won't eather... ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 6 stars for Casa Thai! Let's start with how packed it is on a Monday evening! That says enough. The food is amazing... We had 4 courses (2x starters, 1 main and 1 dessert per person). Everything tastet great and it also looked very nice. Not your typical Thai food, but Thai food with a (haute-cuisine) twist. We are not big eaters, so 1 less starter per person would be better for us. We were soooo full, but kept eating because it tasted to good, we did not want to waist any of it! There are not too many dishes on the menu, just the right amount. The owner, Tony, did a great job with this place! He is very friendly. And not to mention Henrik. He knows a lot about the dishes and ingredients. He took his time to explain everything. It shows how much passion about food they have here and how much they value their customers! The cocktails were very nice as well! We'll definitely be coming back to try out the other dishes!!!

The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and their Tom Yum soup was spicy yet deliciously creamy — absolutely wonderful!

I'm a big fan of Thai food so we went to check out this restaurant. I ordered pad thai with chicken that was obviously old. Nooodles were all clumped together on the plate like in one big clump and the sauce was very oily and sweet. I mean yeah it was pad thai but it was like last night's reheated version. My friend ordered papaya salad which came with chicken that also looked over fried and old. The photos on the menu look smashing but the real stuff is really not worth the trip. Sorry! :/

Papaya salad tastes good, chicken ok. Sticky rice not throughly cooked. Actually not sure why using sticky rice, jasmine rice would be easier and taste better in my opinion. Ice tea with longan tastes very good, although the sugar concentration is quite high. Waiters are nice and friendly. It was cold sitting outside as it was raining and windy. Had to eat fast before food and myself got too cold.

We really loved it here! The food was amazing, it was served very fast though, barely finished the star before the main dish came, but nonetheless great atmosphere, super nice staff and delicious food!!!!! We also sat next to the bar so we got to see them cook the meals :)

The food is overall good. Mango sticky rice is top. The Turkish girl is very lovely and introduced the dish very nicely. The only thing is that the portion is relatively small.

Best Pad Thai I’ve ever had. This was also our first time trying Phad Horapa (with beef) and it was AMAZING. Great atmosphere and good service. Will definitely be back!

What a fantastic experience at Casa Thai! The food was truly delicious, full of flavor, freshly prepared, and presented with care. What immediately struck me was the excellent service: the staff was incredibly friendly, patient, and engaging. Every course was clearly explained, including the ingredients used. They carefully considered allergies and personal preferences, which made us feel very safe and welcome. And the icing on the cake: we were given containers to take home our leftovers. Such a shame to leave such delicious food behind! In short: highly recommended. I'll definitely be back!

Visited today. Thoroughly enjoyed the food & friendly service. Our server Tony from Suriname was very knowledgeable of the dishes & drinks and made some great recommendations. Cocktails were made to our liking. We will definitely return on our next trip to Rotterdam.

Henrik and Tony are Amazing! They give 100% to making this restaurant incredible. Both in flavor of the food and the atmosphere it’s a winner for Thai food. We applaud their dedication.

We arrived during rush hour and had to wait a bit longer for our table to be served. The staff were very nice, however, and offered us a small table to wait. The food was good. I ordered the food too spicy, and my husband ate all the chili peppers. The waiter (I don't know his name, but I think he's from Brazil) was very attentive and, noticing that my husband was suffering, exchanged his spicy salad. The two Vietnamese waiters, Hoang and Chau, were also very friendly and attentive. We had a lovely evening despite the wait. With pleasant, friendly service, you'll want to come back!

Cozy place, friendly waitress. The Crispy Laab was delicious. It's fun to order different dishes and share them. The homemade drinks could be enhanced with a garnish like a sprig of mint or a slice of lemon or orange. They have a time slot, but we were allowed to stay a bit longer.

From the first bite of the appetizers to the last bite of the desserts, AMAZING!! You'll definitely see us again.

Henrik was our server and he did a fabulous job with suggesting some amazing dishes! The home made ice teas to start off with were super refreshing. To start off, we had the Crispy Laap and boy it was delicious. Crunchy chicken with a nice tangy and fresh dressing. For mains, we got the panang curry with beef and it was really nice. For desserts we got the Crispy banana & the sticky mango rice. The staff are very friendly and always willing to offer recommendations, the ambience is very cosy. Definitely a list visit :)

The restaurant is very easy to reach! The price for the food you get, is also cheap compared to other places in this area. But the restaurant is superrrr beautiful drom the inside! We had a great time and which one of the funniest waitres Nilsun ablaaaa. For anyone who wants good food, service and a relax place, definitely go here! P.s try the mango sticky rice (desert) !!! We were with 7 people and everyone loved it!

Extremely Disappointed I specifically requested a mild spicy level, but the dish came out way too spicy — completely overwhelming. It was so hot that I couldn’t enjoy the flavors at all, and ended up leaving most of it untouched. Thai food is known for its balance of flavors, but this just felt like a heat overload with no consideration for the customer’s request. Really disappointed. If a customer asks for mild, it should be taken seriously. Unfortunately, this ruined the whole dining experience for me.

Wow! The food is soo authentic, delicious and the portions are big! The food arrived super quick and the staff is very kind. Kara made us feel like home! 10/10 recommend.

Food and drinks were served before I could even finish my cigarette. Everything tasted amazing. Highly recommend the papaya salad and pad thai. Our waitress Kara couldn't have been a better service checking in with us multiple times without ever having to ask. Definitely coming back

We came here for dinner a few days ago and had reserved in advance. We were told that the table was outside although we had not asked for a table outside. It was a bit of a cool evening with intermittent shower spells so we were a bit unhappy. The food and service though helped over this initial disappointment (and fortunately our table was in a corner and somewhat wind protected). We decided to go for the recommended two starters and one main. We had the chicken satay and the tom yung which were both excellent. For mains we decided on the pad thai with shrimp - also very good. We did not have dessert since it was getting cooler and a bit more uncomfortable. Hence the lower rating for atmosphere.

Really liked this place! I was instantly impressed by the amazing interior design. The staff Hoang, Nilsu, Lilla, Sea and Erin were all so welcoming and inviting and really helpful in picking out food to order. The staff were also super friendly and made my experience even better.
