We had a delicious meal at this Thai restaurant. We ordered the main course for four people, which included a soup and seven different dishes, all of which were delicious. The staff is very friendly and serves you with a smile. In short, the perfect place to experience Thailand without a 10-hour flight!

Another delicious meal, the best Thai in Rotterdam. The main course with soup and a 5-course meal remains ideal.

The atmosphere here is super cozy, both in terms of ambiance and staff. Large portions, and if you have any leftovers, you can take them home.

It was lovely. The staff were very cheerful, enthusiastic, and friendly. The food was truly delicious. The authentic Thai pancakes were especially delicious.

I've often walked past or driven by, but never dined in, despite the good reviews. I have to say, it certainly wasn't disappointing. The food was delicious, but I did inquire about the spiciness of the dish just to be sure. It was spicy but not overly so. Friendly and efficient service, definitely recommended. Make sure to book in advance, as it gets packed at dinnertime.

Yesterday I went to eat at the Thailand restaurant for the first time and it was just delicious. I celebrated my birthday at the same time. I will definitely go back, the service was great.

Food is OK, but I would not recommend because of the survice. Normally I don't drink during meal. My wife and I went there ordered one cola( We know some restaurant take drinks as tips). However, the waitress told us we were mandatory to have a drink per person even we told her we don't drink during eating. And they charge a 200ml cola for €3.5🤑

It was incredibly delicious again. Noi, in particular, helped me immensely. I'll definitely be back.

The khao soi was delicious! Next time, I'd like more pickled vegetables. And please reduce the sweetness a bit. 🙂

Today the four of us dined at Restaurant Thailand. It was our first time since the new owner took over. All four of us had the set menu and absolutely loved everything. The coconut soup as a starter was also excellent. The welcome and service were very friendly; they all went around with a smile on their faces. A very good experience, and a big compliment to the new owner, who is only 21 years old, and her staff; the quality certainly hasn't deteriorated! Definitely worth repeating.

We've eaten here many times, and we always come specifically for the fried sea bass. We know the previous owner, Rob, and the staff; everything was always perfect. Even after they took over, everything was fine. The previous staff is always friendly and polite and takes good care of you. But today I felt really ripped off (the previous staff wasn't there, so I missed a warm welcome). They didn't have fish and shrimp cakes, the glasses were dirty, the service was poor, and we had to wait a long time for food and drinks. The sea bass (normally four of us eat here, but it was small for two people, but we ate it) arrived without rice. We had to wait for the other dishes, inquired, and then waited some more. When ordering, they pretended vegetables were included, and then when we paid, we were charged €15.95 for a half portion? I asked what that was, and yes, it was vegetables. I looked it up on the menu. (Full portion €19.95 / Small portion €11.50) I asked how it was, and she said it was for 4 people. She showed me three of those pathetic little containers, small/medium/large portions. Well, the container was so small that only one person ate it, and only one person wanted vegetables. I think you should at least ask, because it felt like the vegetables were included with the dish. We had to pay for the plastic containers and bag. No, the new owners and staff don't score any points with this. They lack friendliness, and the language barrier is also a problem. Such a shame!

Ate there yesterday around 7 PM. The servers were very kind and it felt like talking with friends. Food was also delicious.

The taste of Tom Yum Goong is really bad. Ordered 1 Tom Yum Goong, but when the bill came, the bill showed 2 bowls. The staff explained that they ordered 2 because there were 2 of them, at a price of 21 euros, which is very little. The quality is not good. The quality of the rice is also bad. Fried pork belly is 29 euros. There are only vegetables, making it look like a lot. In total, this meal ordered 2 bottles of beer, 1 coke, Tom Yum Goong, fried pork, totaled 64 euros. Not worth it at all. The food is not good at all. It is really not good. It should be improved a lot.

A very decent restaurant. The beans in the green curry were a bit old and chewy. The pad thai would be more thai if it came with a with a slice of lime (instead of lemon). But overall okay-la and quite authentic.

Mega sweet staff! Soup was delicious, so high expectations, but the food disappointed me. A lot of fried and the vegetables tasted burnt. I expect really fresh and pure food at a Thai restaurant. Had a huge stomach ache and we still had to go to a concert.

Good food but very little for the price, not in proportion to other authentic Thai, green carry, elsewhere 16 euros here 29 euros, fried noodles elsewhere 12 euros here 19 euros, also long waiting time for service, according to the owner due to Pentecost rush.. Thom ka kai soup is good. Tasty but all in all much too high prices for Rotterdam South.. in response to your answer: soup came after 30m and food 20m after the soup means 50m, is 30-60m waiting time, just check your cameras and for the prices take an example of Sawadeeka on the Overtoom in Amsterdam, no menu is above 20 euros.. for your information we had 3 dishes for 2 adults and 2 children of 9 years..

The staff is very friendly and create a cozy atmosphere. The quality of the food however was a bit disappointing, especially at this price level. It wasn’t bad, but it just misses those real authentic distinguishable flavors the Thai kitchen is so famous for. The menu had an abundance of options.

Very good Thai Food! We took the menu and it was plenty enough per person! The soup was delicious. The maincourse various with fish, meat, Rice and Mie! The taste was very good! We will definitely come back! The ambiance is a little cheap / canteen feeling, but it doesn’t matter on the other side!

Went for dinner for the first time tonight! The welcome was really friendly and the restaurant looks clean and cozy! We chose the set menu. First the Tom ka Kai soup and then some Thai dishes. The soup was delicious!! We devoured it all but then the main course came and that was also quite a lot and we really couldn't finish it so we took it home! No problem at all for the lovely staff. Because of this we didn't have a dessert and we wanted to try that too so we will have to go back again! Let's not consider this a problem! Service, top! Food, top! A pearl in Rotterdam!

the restaurant has a lively, yet cozy and homey dining experience as the owner is enthusiastic and the staff were very helpful. for a large dinner, we ordered tom kha kai, fish chilies, thai omelette, duck and more accompanied with fried rice and let me tell you, they were so full of flavor and balanced too. therefore, i strongly recommend this place for a great dining experience in Rotterdam!

I often come to Eetcafé Thailand and am very satisfied every time. It really feels like you are in a small part of Thailand, in the middle of the Netherlands. Pad thai and sipak are my firm favorites – great taste and generous portions. The service is always friendly and fast, and the ice cream for dessert is really delicious – definitely worth a try! The restaurant has a spacious, relaxed atmosphere and now that it is blossom season, the view is also beautiful. 😍

The restaurant is in a quiet area. You can see the kitchen from the sitting area, so you can watch as everything is prepared. The restaurant is clean and the service is excellent. Our server took the time to explain the dishes we ordered, to make sure they were exactly what we wanted. We ordered shrimp loempia and chicken satay to start, followed by green curry chicken and green curry duck. The food was delicious. The portions of the main dishes were big, so be aware of that.

On a Thursday afternoon I was walking past Eetcafe Thailand when the bright billboard and the smell of spices caught my attention. I wasn't planning on eating out, but I don't regret it. The young, pretty owner recommended me the squid with fresh basil - best. choice. ever. Perfectly tender with a spicy, flavorful sauce. I also ordered tom yam soup and fried sea bass with chili sauce. The soup was strong and aromatic, and the sea bass? Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with a sauce so delicious that I wanted to lick my plate. I ordered way too much, but the lovely waitresses neatly packed everything to take home. Delicious food, generous portions and fair prices. I finished with mango sticky rice, and I would come back just for that dessert. Eetcafé Thailand is a hidden gem! If you like authentic Thai food, this is the place to be!
