The staff so kindly squeezed us in before another reservation and worked with us to make sure we had a good experience within the available time. The flavours of the dishes were all interesting and delicious combinations and my virgin gin & tonic was great! Very highly recommend this stellar locale.

We had a tasting menu with a whisky pairing... everything was excellent, from the service to the bill, and the kindness and friendliness of the staff... if you're in Alkmaar, treat yourself to a different evening...

A week ago, I dined here with a good friend. Right from the start, when we made our reservation via email, the hospitality was immediately noticeable; they asked if we had any special requests. I'm not much of a wine lover myself, but I'm a fan of craft beer. I mentioned this in the email, and received a friendly reply with the words: "We'll do our best." And they more than delivered! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and escorted to our table. When we were able to order our first drink, the cheerful remark quickly sounded: "Oh, you're the one with the beer!" To my surprise, the sommelier had purchased a selection of matching beers especially for me to pair with the menu. The dinner itself was truly fantastic and definitely on par with the Michelin-starred restaurants I've dined at before. Both the wines (according to my friend) and the beers were excellent, but what truly made the evening special was the warmth and personal attention from the entire team. I've rarely felt so relaxed in a rather luxurious restaurant. When I'm back in Alkmaar, this will definitely be the first place I'll book again. A little tip for the restaurant (although they really don't need it): offer a beer pairing, because I'm sure there are other beer lovers out there like me. Conclusion: an unforgettable evening, without a doubt a solid 10/10.

We've walked past this restaurant a few times, and tonight we ate there for the first time. We should have done it sooner! The food was truly fantastic, the dishes were surprising, and the service was very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back soon.
