We liked the tapas, pintxos, service and atmosphere. Only we didn’t like the sangria. It was like a juice. The alcohol content was really low.

A mix of the coziness of a 90s café (my student days) and a Barcelona tapas bar. Wonderful atmosphere. Fantastic staff. "Shall I just get your coat, so you can stay?" There are some gems among the dishes, like ceviche, melon tartare, dates with bacon, Montega (or something similar) cheese with honey, and coffee. The outdoor area is also very pleasant. Basically, everything deserves 5 stars. But I want the staff to stand out.

We love coming here; in our opinion, it's one of the best in the Netherlands for Spanish food and atmosphere. The service is friendly and attentive. The kitchen is staffed by Spaniards who create the most delicious dishes.

Pricey, simple dishes in very meager portions

Delicious, honest food. With a Spanish twist. They know how to enjoy themselves and make sure you can relax for a while.

Super fun, busy because it's delicious. Service is good and fast which is really nice with Tapas (multiple orders). You can't make a reservation for two, but they can get a spot at the bar pretty quickly.

Have eaten here many times. The atmosphere is always great and the service very professional and friendly. The food was also always good and felt authentic. Now I think the new menu is not that successful. First of all, everything (like everywhere) has become a bit more expensive. 115 euros for 5 drinks and 10 tapas is really 25-30 euros too much. I have the idea that we did the same thing 2 years ago for 75-80 euros. But hey, inflation is an issue. And unfortunately I also think the quality of the food is a bit less. A few old favorites were missing from the new menu (chorizo ​​and tuna) but okay; there is no accounting for taste. Perhaps these were not that popular. Then about the food: the patatas bravas were just not what you would expect. About 8-9 small potatoes, nicely presented on an oblong plate. That is not really what tapas in Spanish style should be, is it? I have never seen that in Spain anyway. The pimientos de padron were rather limp and too green. You want that grilled flavour. And the halloumi was far too simple, cubes of halloumi and courgette on a stick. Without much flavour. This restaurant was always an exception to a popular theme in Dutch (or at least Utrecht) restaurants: presentation is more important than good food. 90% of 'hip eateries' in Utrecht adhere to this; it always has to look nice first and then we look at the quality of the dish. And of course for the main price. I prefer to see it the other way around. I don't mind spending some money, but then I don't want to have the idea that the restaurant is making it too easy or cheap. Or compensating with a nice presentation.

A top tapas cafe. Delicious dishes. Cozy atmosphere, often very busy, so reservations are sometimes a must.

Geweldige tent, heel goed eten, leuke sfeer en supervriendelijke en goede bediening! Echt een aanrader. We gaven aan dat we graag verrast wilden worden, dus carte blanche voor de kok en dat vonden ze erg fijn. Ook goed wijn-advies.

Nice dinner tonight. The sound in the room is not too loud, you can hear each other well. Great price for the size of the snacks and most of them were very unique in taste. We thought the piementos were grilled too black, but we got a new portion without any problem, so it was great! Nice surprise that you get already filled glasses with the sangria (which is also very tasty)

The experience of visiting this restaurant turned out to be a bit bizarre. A few weeks ago I discovered it and was interested to try their paella, which they claim to serve on Mondays and Tuesdays. However, I learned that it is impossible to make a reservation there for two people. So my girlfriend and I decided to just go there. We arrived at the restaurant around 7:30 PM and there was no paella left! The waiter explained to us that they usually look at the number of reservations and prepare just the right amount of paella for the people who have a reservation. But I couldn't do it because it was just my girlfriend and me! The waiter also said that they consider 7:30 PM as "the end of the evening", so it's kind of normal that they run out of paella. Apparently the pleasure of tasting their paella is only available to groups larger than three people and to those who don't work/finish early in the evening on Mondays and Tuesdays. Well, apparently this business model is good for the restaurant, because the place was packed, so good for them I guess, but for me the whole situation left a pretty sour feeling. I guess I'll have to find another restaurant to try paella.

Top spot, one of the real hotspots in Utrecht

One of my favorite places in Utrecht. Friendly people, pleasant atmosphere, good food. Delicious and generously served paella on Mondays and Tuesdays.

The food quality is ok, but the establishment shows signs of poor cleaning practices. There is noticeable dust on the tables, side surfaces, and table accessories, which seems to have accumulated over time. Additionally, employees often greet friends or acquaintances with a handshake when they come by, then resume cooking without washing their hands. This raises concerns about hygiene and food safety.

It was worth traveling from Zeeland again!

Always good and tasty. Two tips. The ham looks like it's just from Appie? I.e.g. no Spanish ham. And those Bravas al Horno just taste like raw potatoes, why don't you replace them with patatas bravas?

Super cozy atmosphere and good wines!

I think overall ok place but it is not a kids friendly place. High chairs, menu is not suitable for kids / no kids menu and their waiters are warning you if the kids eat their own bread.

We had fun as a group of five sharing tapas and some drinks. The food is pretty all right, although as always with tapas it works out quite expensive for what you actually eat. The staff made the experience though, as they were genuinely friendly, knowledgeable and easy going. Maybe I would just say: I'm not sure egg, anchovies and olives go together as they tried in one dish. Interesting idea but quite gross.

Yesterday we celebrated the 23rd Our daughter's birthday with delicious tapas and pintxos. We were surprised by the chef and they liked that the most. .We drink delicious Sangria, Beer of the Month, non-alcoholic cocktail and delicious red wine. During dessert there was singing for the birthday boy or girl. The more than relaxed host had everything under control And made sure that nothing was missing. The atmosphere was great! I am Spanish and can confirm this place is a great one. Food is very nice, has the essence of our flavors. Some dishes like Pulpo have a bit of an interesting twist in the recipe. Place is beautiful & service good! Will comeback for sure.

Nice tapas bar in Utrecht with a nice atmosphere. We ate at the bar and enjoyed both cold and warm tapas. In addition to the tapas, they have delicious wine such as the Rioja. I would definitely recommend it!

Best tapas I've eaten in the Netherlands! Staff was friendly, fast, and food was amazing! My personal favorite was the pata negra. This restaurant also serves tap water besides your other drinks which I think should be the standard in restaurants.

The food was tasty, both the tapas and the paella. Friendly and smooth service. Busy but not chaotic. Unfortunately the cod was very salty.

Ended up here by chance, you immediately feel that you are welcome. This is mainly due to the service in this company. Marcus varied humor with service and really gave us the best evening!

Delicious Paella on Monday and Tuesday

Nice restaurant, very tasty dishes and nice, cheerful service. And also affordable. Highly recommended for those who love Spanish dishes, shared dining and an informal atmosphere. Reasonable choice of vegetarian dishes, but vegan becomes difficult. At most tables you sit on high stools and not on comfortable chairs.

The food is tasty and affordable and it is very close like in Spain. However, the service does have an attitude. They are not unfriendly, but there is a kind of "I am the boss here" appearance that makes you not feel 100% a guest. Especially that boy with the half-bleached hair, but also a girl.

Had a delicious meal on a Saturday evening with some friends. You can easily make a reservation online. Works with time slots. These may be limited in time. We were lucky that the next reservation started later, so we were able to linger for a while. The place was completely full, but despite this it didn't take long (in my opinion) before we were served. Staff is attentive. The final bill was not too bad for me. Especially considering the amount of jugs of Sangria that had gone through ;)

Geweldige maandag(!)avond gehad. We werden uitstekend geholpen door Angel, die goed aanvoelde wat we wilden. Hij was zelfs zo attent om het dessert met een sterretje te serveren, omdat het m'n verjaardag was. Het eten vonden we allebei heel erg lekker, waarbij de koude gerechten voor ons er uit sprongen. De presentatie is top en het zijn wat ons betreft ook zeker geen standaard "bekende" tapas. Ook de allergieën staan duidelijk aangegeven op de kaart. Al met al een heel geslaagd bezoek en wij gaan zeker terugkomen. Zeker op maandagavond vind je geen gezelliger plekje in Utrecht.

Wat een leuke stek! Snelle service, ondanks dat we niet hadden gereserveerd, 20 min buiten gezeten dus prima. En ook betaalbaar.

Gezellige plek met vriendelijke bediening en goede sangria! Maar de warme gerechten worden niet vers bereid. Ze liggen al klaar in bakken om vervolgens op bestelling in de oven opgewarmd te worden. En daar kom ik eigenlijk niet voor. Als ik patatas bravas of kippenvleugels krijg, verwacht ik dat deze vers uit het vet komen. We hadden de plank met verschillende warme en koude gerechten besteld. En omdat we aan de bar zaten en direct de keuken in konden kijken, zagen we dat niks vers bereid wordt. En dat doet af aan de smaak. Wat ze wel goed doen is bij een karaf sangria de glazen vast vullen met sangria, waarbij ze nog een vol karaf uitserveren. Dat beetje extra voelt wel heel gastvrij en de sangria is hier erg lekker! Net als de espresso martini. Dus voor drankjes kan ik deze zaak aanraden. Het eten doe ik voortaak elders.

Spontaan op een dinsdagavond binnen gelopen, uitgenodigd door de paëlla die op het krijtbord buiten stond aangekondigd. Tot onze verbazing waren bijna alle tafels al gereserveerd maar we mochten aan de bar achterin plaatsnemen. Hierdoor hadden we mooi zicht op de open keuken! We werden ontzettend vriendelijk en goed geholpen. We begonnen met een aantal tapas die stuk voor stuk heerlijk waren. Daarna de paëlla die gewoon uitstekend was en een ruime portie! Zo goed als in Spanje smaakt het nergens maar dit was voortreffelijk. Het personeel zorgde ervoor dat we niks tekort kwamen, hadden oog voor detail en waren attent! Een perfecte avond :) Hasta luego

Hapjes: heerlijk Wijn: gekoelde rode: heel goed! Maar het beste was het personeel. Ondanks dat het binnen heel erg vol was, en wij buiten zaten werden we niet vergeten. Veel aandacht en de wens om het ons naar ons zin te maken: uniek voor Utrechts horecapersoneel. Ongedwongen en supergezellig. Aanrader!

Gewoon een heel gezellige tent, ongedwongen sfeer, met heel attente en vriendelijke bediening. Geen ingewikkelde concepten, gewoon tapas bestellen. Je water wordt steeds vanzelf bijgevuld (als je aan de bar zit). Het eten is lekker en een beetje anders dan originele spaanse tapas.
