Unfortunately a small addition a year later. That I am charged twice for a bowl of aioli with a bread tomato dish is one thing, because the food is worth its price and I even sincerely gave a tip. But sincere friendliness is a great asset that depends on how welcome you feel.... From 5 stars on all fronts to 5 stars on the food itself but unfortunately to only 2 stars on friendliness and atmosphere... I will give it another chance after this, provided I get a decent response to this. I am very curious to see what they do with this feedback.. Friendly staff, delicious food. Open to suggestions such as alcoholic Sangria by the glass instead of just by the jug. This is due to smaller groups than in Los Amigos city center but more couples and smaller groups. That they want to keep the drinks as fresh as possible for the guests and therefore (still) serve by the jug, is understandable and speaks in their favor. However, if you dare to pour by the glass, you will certainly get this back in the form of very appreciative, returning guests. A sympathetic alternative with the alcohol-free Sangria by the glass. A cozy, cordial, warm atmosphere.

Sorry, I don’t often leave negative reviews, but this one’s deserved. Food wasn’t that great. I ordered a tuna steak, the waiter came back later to say they didn’t have any, so I ordered steak, medium rare. The steak was quite tough and cooked to medium well done, if not more. One of our ladies ordered meatballs and spaghetti, which she didn’t eat because the flavor was not good. There were unexpected charges because of unclear communications from the waiter. It’s food, I guess, but I’ll be trying somewhere else next time.

We were with a group, arrived early, and were warmly welcomed. Then we waited a long time for drinks, and even longer for food. We had a 2.5-hour food and drink arrangement. The owner was busy on his phone, while the other was giving staff training. Everyone was happily enjoying a beer, but no attention was paid to the guests. Very annoying. The chef was the only one who was actually working seriously! Excellent! The food was good.

Ate here via social deal, very tasty. I often visit Spain, of course the tapas in Spain are the tastiest, but your tapas come very close to that of Spain itself. I would like to come here again.

Rarely served so poorly. Staff was very unprofessional and we had to wait a very long time for drinks and food. In a number of cases the dishes were cold and we had them sent back. We walked to the bar a few times because the staff hardly came to the table. We ended up leaving early after this disappointment.

Delicious food, especially the Pollo Moruno (Moorish chicken) was very tasty and special in taste. Patatas Bravas and Albóndigas were well seasoned. Also friendly service.

I would like to give another grade but we never got to try the food. We walk in on wednesday evening at 8:20pm. First it takes them some time to get to us although we r the only new customers. And then they tell us the kitchen is closed as it closes at 9pm... I guess 8:20 counts as 9 in some world? But I guess this is just average dutch horeca where the customer is not at the first place... Shame

Little tapas bar in Utrecht Leidsche Rijn, really tasty food. Brought back memories from spain. The albondigas and chorizos were so good. not to forget the croquetas de bacalao, which were so good, we ordered twice.

Ate here on a Monday evening. The restaurant was well stocked, so that promises something. Still, it was a bit disappointing, especially if you have a tapas experience from Spain in mind. Service was friendly and smooth, albeit in English. In the end, the berenjenas and pan con tomato were our favorites. The bill was high in relation to what we ate. Nevertheless, we had a pleasant evening.

The food and atmosphere of Los Amigos in Leidsche Rijn are great! The snacks are deliciously prepared with good herbs and the drinks are also very tasty! The service is super friendly and helpful. Especially the red-haired boy was super sweet and patiently helped with everything. I will definitely come back again!

Went on a saturday, called for a last minute reservation. A lot of details give away that this is a good Spanish place: box of ColaCao, membrillo with the cheese platter, the music was basically my 2000's nostalgia playlist (Amaral, Fito y Fitipaldis, Estopa...) Food was Dutch prices of course, but tasty and good. The only thing I really miss is being able to order tinto de verano, or rebujito.

All that we ordered could be split into two categories: food I didn’t enjoy eating and food I didn’t eat at all because it was so bad. Especially the steak that tasted like bike tire. Even potatoes looked and tasted really bland and dry. Folks, I don’t know if that was the kitchen shift or if that’s the usual quality, but it’s low even by the local standards.

A really cool restaurant where you quickly step into the Spanish atmosphere and forget the gray weather in the Netherlands for a moment. Staff also speak Spanish with each other and some of the products actually come from Spain. One of the staff members, Mart, knew a lot about the origins of the products and dishes on the menu, which was nice to hear. In my opinion, Los Amigos is one of the better Spanish restaurants in the city where you get value for your money. Tasty food and nice atmosphere with friendly staff.

The one in the city is great, this one is certainly pleasant too! Slightly larger but the same tasty snacks and of course the imported cava. My girlfriend has a gluten allergy, so the chef came to the table to show us what was possible. So enjoy and highly recommended, especially for every Spaniard!

What a great service, first of all I want to talk about that I have never been to spain but it seems to me that this is what it feels like. In addition, the beer is very tasty and the food tasted good, but I would add some salt myself. Conclusion: nice location, very central, toilet is maintained. And the food and drinks are good.

Tapas in Leidsche Rijn! Do come and taste this, it is recommended. We went here with the family and enjoyed it. Of course, it is never as good as the Spanish original, but it is close enough (and we have Spanish in the family). Kind and friendly service. Open relaxed atmosphere even though it was busy inside and out.

You can sit comfortably on the terrace, so that's nice. We liked the berenjenas, tortilla and chistorra, but the ternera, patatas bravas and churros were not well seasoned, tough and lukewarm. A little salt was allowed on everything. That was a shame. The Riojas tasted good. We had to try very hard to get the attention of the employees, especially from about 8 p.m.

Had tapas in Barcelona a month ago. Then this one is quite disappointing. The ceviche did not taste as it should. Patatas bravas also very different. Bread but only a few pieces with a dollop of sauce. I thought most of the dishes we had were mehh... also several dishes arrived at the table lukewarm or already cold (which were supposed to be warm). Mojito was also undrinkable, I think I forgot the sugar. Only the meatballs were tasty. Service was fine, nothing special. Overall I thought it was a very mediocre evening for the price you pay. Very disappointing considering the reviews they already have. Is something wrong or people don't have enough tapas in Spain haha.

Atmospheric and mediocre quality of food. Everything was ok, but certainly not tasteful. Spain is missing in my opinion. Not worth the money.

Great place to have some Spanish tapas and drinks. Very cozy and even at it's busiest moment it does not feel crowded. The food is great!

Extremely friendly and attentive staff. The food is just adequate, nothing was bad or dirty. But then, for example, the sauces on the patatas bravas are just not tasty, the berenjenas come with syrup and little or no real honey, and are also more like thin chips than berenjenas. The grilled peppers had quite tasty olive oil, but the croquettes were a purchased frozen variety. Lots of cheaper choices, which is a shame. The prices were not low. No real love for food, but a sleek concept with a business model. They will really deny it all in an answer, but honestly, don't expect too much. It's a pass, but wouldn't it have been better to have that little bit extra so that I would come back more often and send all my friends? All in all, it is the restaurant equivalent of Leidsche Rijn, so it fits nicely into the decor. --- Response: I don't need to understand a concept and see Spain, but I want to taste it!

I went to Los Amigos, because I was going to the movies. The service is nice and friendly. But the food was disappointing. I ordered two vegetarian dishes and one calamari’s. The vegetarian dishes were really bland with no accompanying sauces or supplements that you could use to make it less bland. The calamari’s were a little dry. Felt like freezer food judging from the batter. The squid rings were good though. The aioli that came with it was not enough as was the tiny lemon slice that I got with it. I did get a second one after asking. So all in all; I will not eat here again. It wasn’t worth the 28 euro’s I paid for it.

Relax and enjoy delicious tapas. The Calamares a la Romana and the Pollo Moruno are definitely recommended.

Everything took a very long time before it was on the table, but with the dessert she made it very quick, I had to wait 42 minutes and then I just got up to pay. I also didn't find the wooden chairs comfortable.

Came here two times: one for tapas and one for the paella night. The tapas are very tiny and therefore too expensive for what they are. Some are ok, most are completely forgettable. The paella night should actually be called rice night, because my chicken paella simply had no chicken at all. The waitresses are super friendly and nice, but they’re too few and simply can’t take care of all the tables.

The service was very friendly but not very alert or efficient. They do that better in Spain :-). Food was tasty and price quality Top! In terms of food, 1 point. The manchego cheese actually made no sense, tasteless, even worse than young cheese. In Spain you can buy top manchego for €8 per kg, which is a small effort to buy well, I would think.

Was here last Sunday. The food taste was fine but then I got very sick from the food. Tables were not clean, there was glass on the floor and the menu cards were sticky on all sides. It was very quiet but despite that it took a long time before anyone came to the table. Service seemed very inexperienced. Not to be repeated.

The chicken with garlic and sherry is highly recommended: delicious! Balls with tomato sauce also very tasty. Furthermore, a lot comes from the fryer, so you have to take that into account if you get full quickly. Two blonde girls in the waitress are running out of pantyhose, especially the taller of the two. However, the gentlemen take it easy and are a bit too careless with the customers. Wrong products are regularly delivered, too little or too much that is simply placed on other customers. The music is quite loud, making the tent very noisy, but the atmosphere is certainly great.

I did my bday yesterday and all was great. I am Spanish and I am usually hesitant with Spanish places abroad, but I can confirm that what you get in this restaurant is quite authentic. The jamón could be served in Spain and Berenjena is just amazing. Service is very friendly, we had this girl from Peru with a great smile. Another plus is they have Estrella Galicia: best beer from Spain and quite rare to find! Place also has a cozy Spanish vibe. In sum, I will go again to Amigos Leidsche Rijn and recommend to everyone.

We went here on a Saturday and had a good experience. Everything is quite pricey, but we had taken that into account. Iberico ham was delicious, chicken was good, croquettes were tasty. The only thing I was less satisfied with were the lamb chops. It was mainly bone, so for the quite high price you only got 3 small bites of meat at most, which was not worth it in my opinion. Service was very friendly and we were helped well. Very disappointed with the fact that the calamari was no longer on the menu. We made a reservation on Tuesday when it was still there and on Saturday it had already been removed. Unfortunately, that was one of the reasons for us to book. Fortunately, we enjoyed it even without the calamari, although I would like to see it on the menu. In the end we paid about 200 euros for 3 people including wine. This also included 100g of the most expensive Iberico ham and 200g of the cheaper one.

Ate here yesterday and enjoyed it! The Iberico ham is delicious, the prawns perfect, the Moorish chicken delicious and so on. The service was great and the only downside I can think of were the patatas bravas (not as they could have been) and the fact that the seating is a bit cramped, but we really had a great time!!

It was super good food! The Iberico ham (both variants) was really tasty and cut with great attention! Their chicken dish was subtle and flavorful. The shrimp were prepared perfectly. The wine was perfectly matched. Very friendly service too. To finish we got a liqueur, which was also tasty.

As if you are not in the center of Utrecht for a while. Nice that Spanish is spoken among the staff. :)

Service dramatic. After more than half an hour, half of the table finally had a drink and the other half had the first dishes. Waiting half an hour each time for a drink and even longer for a dish. It's a real shame because when you walk in you really think wow, how nice!

Food was very variable and generally disappointing. Especially for that price. Portions are small so we had to order quite a few tapas. Ended up spending 100 euros for two people. That just wasn't worth it. Service was fine and the dishes arrived quite quickly. Tables are a bit close together. All in all, not worth repeating

Een Spaanse verrassing in Utrecht. Voortreffelijke en originele tapas besprenkeld met eerst een glas mooie cava en daarna een superieure albariño. Van de verrassende bloedworst uit Burgos en de kleine pannekoekjes met garnalen uit Cadiz (totillitas de cameron) tot de albondigas en de boquerones, alles even voortreffelijk. Ook de plato ibéricos als starter beviel! Alles vers gesneden. En er is nog veel tongstrelends meer. Wij komen terug! Parkeren in de Jumbogarage, via de Jumbo rechtsaf naar Brusselplein 1.

Leuk aangekleed restaurant. Prettige bediening. Alle tapas smaakten prima. Dat geldt ook voor de desserts en de koffie. Puntje van kritiek: wijn vrij prijzig.

Lekker eten. Kaasplank was erg lekker, ik twijfelde om het te bestellen omdat je in andere tapasbarren vaak kaas krijgt die naar plastic smaakt, maar was hier totaal niet zo, erg goede kaas. Rest van het eten ook was smaakvol.

Prima tapas. Personeel was heel vriendelijk maar wel erg afwezig.

Nice addition to the neighbourhood! We know this place from the Voorstraat and wanted to support the new location. Same vibe, delicious (rose) cava and nice bites. At the Voorstraat there are never families with kids, but of course in LRC you need to accept a different crowd.

Menú super variado, totalmente español. Ingredientes de primera calidad. Los sandwiches están muy ricos. Situación perfecta para estar en la terraza en la plaza. Recomendado, volveré siempre que quiera comer rico

Net heerlijk gegeten! De bocadillos (broodjes) waren top evenals de cortado. Als afsluiter ook nog even een cava genomen. De bediening was top. Echt een aanrader!

We went one of the first days after opening. The waiter kept giving our food to another table that arrived later. The kitchen was slow and the staff was in general uncoordinated. It took one hour for four tapas to arrive after several reminders of what they still missed to deliver. Portions are small for the price. Unfortunately, we will not be coming again.

Disappointing first experience for us. Too many tables/no space, we had to ask for plates after the food arrived (lukewarm) and what we ate was just OK. One dish never arrived. The staff was very friendly but chaotic overall. Will try again when they have settled and order different dishes.
