CHASKA Indian restaurant in Oud-Woensel

I happened to visit this restaurant this time during my visit to Eindhoven. This place is very close to Holiday Inn, just 5 mins walk... could taste authentic Indian food. Also came to know that this restaurant is run by an Indian family. Good place to visit if you really want to taste Indian food.

Loved our experience at Chaska. The food was delicious, the portion sizes were perfect, and the ambience made the evening even better. We had kadai paneer masala, garlic naan, rice, nalli nihari, garlic chicken tikka, mango lassi. Definitely visiting again.

Very good indian food, the whole atmosphere gives you positive vibes. Bonus is the restaurant owner/ staff, who are very welcoming. One of the best restaurants in Netherlands, highly recommended!!

Amazing food and the hospitality!

Every dish at Chaska is so elevated and refined. I have never had this good of an experience at any other Indian restaurant in the Netherlands. The flavors are so distinct and plated beautifully.

I had a very disappointing experience here. The rice they served was clearly frozen and reheated you could see and feel it. It was hard, dry, and definitely not freshly prepared. It’s really upsetting to be served food like this, especially when you come expecting a decent meal. If you don’t have freshly cooked food available, please be honest with customers instead of serving something substandard. Quality and honesty matter and this experience showed neither. I truly hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves.

Tasty food, homemade chai, friendly servers! It’s their anniversary week so they have discounts! Go by! Had two curry’s, two naans, two chais, and mango lassi.

Nothing but praise for this brand new restaurant. We were welcomed by an incredibly friendly gentleman. He served us with a smile all evening. On top of that, the food was extremely tasty. 5/5, you can't give this restaurant anything else.

This might just become my new go to place. Everything tasted fresh and I loved the low-key atmosphere of the place with the ambient background sounds. It was my first time trying the puri (the balls) and I was beyond impressed. I highly recommend trying them. The mango lassi was also perfectly made. Overall, it's a nice and cozy restaurant.

Chaska in Eindhoven offers great Indian food with plenty of delicious options and very friendly staff who make you feel welcome right away. Most of the dishes are full of flavor and nicely prepared, making it a great spot for a casual meal. However, the mutton curry wasn’t quite up to the mark a bit tough and lacking the tenderness you’d expect. Aside from that, everything else was enjoyable, and I’d happily come back to try more from their menu.

Despite the misunderstanding regarding the reservation, we were able to have dinner. Food was plenty and tasted good. Very friendly people and pleasant atmosphere.

The food was delicious and unique! The classic butter chicken is highly recommended, but all the vegetarian appetizers are also surprising and delicious. The service is friendly, and we had a wonderful evening. It was also great that we could take home any leftovers (because we couldn't choose, so we ordered way too much) in containers.

Everything was so good, from the vegetable biryani to the butter paneer but the Bhindi Kadai Masala was so insane jawdropping!! We ordered to go so I can't say anything about the restaurant and service, but the food was the best Indian I've had.

One of the best Indian Food we have eaten in Netherlands. Limited menu , but a good variety within it. Tasted two really different gravy styles (Butter Chicken & Andra Style Chicken), both the dishes were amazing. Dal Makhani was also very nice. The rose lassi is highly recommended. Must visit.

We recently hosted our child’s first birthday celebration at Chaska, and the entire experience was wonderful. The ambiance was warm and cozy and perfectly suited for a family gathering. The food was great — especially the starters, which were flavorful and well-received by all our guests. While the breads (naans) didn’t quite live up to our expectations, the rest of the menu more than made up for it with its taste and variety. A special thanks to Kishore, the restaurant owner, whose hospitality and support were outstanding. His guidance in planning the event and curating the menu to suit our preferences was incredibly helpful. The food was prepared exactly to our requirements. Overall, Chaska is a great choice for both casual dining and special occasions. Highly recommended!

We ordered various curries: chicken, shrimp, lamb, and vegetable okra. All had distinctive flavors and were very tasty. The rice and naan bread were also very good. We'll definitely be back! P.S. They don't serve alcohol, but they do serve non-alcoholic beer, soft drinks, and various hot drinks.

What a fantastic restaurant! We chose different appetizers. The golden gap and street-style masala puri were amazing, true explosions of flavor! The vegetarian nawabi biryani was also excellent! Highly recommended if you love delicious, flavorful food. Lots of fresh herbs and unexpected combinations.

The highlight for me was the masala lemonade, which instantly brought back memories of Bante di Bottle from the streets of Punjab – tangy, spiced, and incredibly refreshing. The dishes were not only delicious but beautifully presented, and the portions were generous without being overwhelming. Atmosphere: Chaskaa may be a compact restaurant, but it’s full of charm. From the entrance to the dining area, everything feels warm and inviting. The cozy seating, tasteful décor, and neat arrangement make it the kind of place where you instantly feel comfortable. Service: The service was as impressive as the food. The lady who took our order was warm, friendly, and attentive. She patiently explained dishes we weren’t sure about and gave spot-on recommendations.

The service was minimal, the wait for drinks was long, and it was very expensive. We had a platter for two with four small curries: one chicken with mint was very small, the other chicken tikka was also very small, and one goat curry was more bone than meat. Three shrimp curry pieces for two people, a small bowl of rice, cost almost €62, and with two drinks, it was €74. There should have been much more meat for that price. At Chinese all-you-can-eat restaurants, you can eat your fill for the same price.

The food was delicious! All dishes were beautifully presented and hot. I find the price-quality ratio a bit poor... the service could also be a bit friendlier.

The food was delicious. It's a shame that the chicken they use here is either chicken thighs or bone-in chicken pieces. I would have given the food 5 stars if the dish I wanted had been available with tender, cooked chicken breast fillets. Instead, the chef made a vegetarian dish with cauliflower instead of chicken. It tasted good.

Really good and tasty indian food. Highly recommend the chaats (streetfood) and appetizers. Very authentic flavours, which reminded us of our visit to India. The prices are very fair. I recently had the pleasure of hosting a private event at Chaska and I was thoroughly impressed .From the moment we started planning, the team made every detail feel effortless and special. The ambiance was perfect and just the right amount of intimacy for our group. It felt like having a beautiful dinner party in the comfort of a friend’s home, only better, because we didn’t have to lift a finger! They happily accommodated our group’s dietary needs, decorations for the event etc The food was truly the highlight. Guests are still raving about the dishes and we're equally impressed with the flavours and quality. Many commented they haven't eaten food like this except at home or in India itself. Equally impressive was the attentive, genuine service. The staff struck the perfect balance between being present and giving us space to enjoy ourselves. I wholeheartedly recommend Chaska for any special occasion, big or small. It’s truly a gem and not to be missed.

Had butter chicken and naan… although it was chef’s speciality it tasted old, and there was WAY too much ginger. We expected more since it has such good reviews. Unfortunately not worth it for us especially considering the high prices.

Tonight we thoroughly enjoyed Indian hospitality in the broadest sense of the word. The food and drinks were delicious. The mango Lassie is really deliciously soft. It is what food should be; lovingly prepared, full of flavor and authentic. They constantly made sure that we lacked nothing and left the restaurant blissfully happy. Thank you for a wonderful party evening and the fireworks 😊.

Great authentic food - the Gobi Dynamite was my favorite. The hariali paneer (pictured) and kadai paneer was also nice. Decoration and atmosphere is very nice.

We were very impressed by the hospitality of restaurant owners in Eindhoven overall. We were in the mood for Indian food, so we made a reservation three days in advance and arrived on time. However, we were immediately greeted with a certain unfriendliness at the entrance. The woman at the door ordered us to our table without much of a welcome, and when I mentioned that we had a reservation for two, she simply waved it off and handed us the menus. Once ordered- unfortunately , we received no attention at all during the meal. We had to call the waiters ourselves to get the promised rice or an additional bottle of water. The staff interacted with all the other tables — which consisted only of local Indian guests — while completely ignoring us. I believe hospitality should look quite different. The taste of the food wasn’t anything special either, so we’ve decided to try a different restaurant next time. It’s a pity we had this kind of experience.

I was thoroughly impressed with the quantity of food they prepared; there was more than enough to satisfy everyone. More importantly, our guests were happy about the quality and taste of the food. We ate gol gappas, chilli chicken, chicken biryani and chicken curry with naan. We also had chaska chai. We enjoyed all of it.

Food was pretty good overall, service was nice although the waiting time was on the longer side. Restaurant was cozy and music was nice.

We had a delicious meal, we also tasted each other's food and the different meals each really had their own character. With the appetizers we only thought the dots of brown sauce tasted a bit too much like BBQ sauce, the advice here is don't do that. I'd rather not make any sauce or make it myself. The timing of the dishes could also be a little better. The appetizers didn't come at the same time so we got them one by one. That wasn't a problem for us as we shared the meals with each other. Everything was cleared away very quickly. You could take a little more time there, which would be a bit more pleasant. But the food was delicious and more than enough, so much so that we couldn't fit in any more dessert. It was no problem for us that no alcohol was served. The service was very nice. We would love to come back again in a while.

Authentic Indian Restaurant with great taste, ambience and staff focused on warmth, care and great service.

The first time visit the food was a bit of a let down, but the recent visit changed that. They take traditional food, ingredients and they a modern take on presention and flavour. It's not often that you think of the chef that made the food but this occasion surely made me think of it. The training, experience and the effort of the chef shows. Among the multiple starter, main courses and desserts. Most things were beyond the expectations.
