Chef's Plate A la carte in Wijk 06 Groenlo

As a visitor to Marveld, I picked up Chinese takeaway here and found it a real disappointment!! Since I had to wait a while, I saw several customers who had ordered by telephone coming in, and quite a few who still had to wait for their food were immediately summoned to pay in a somewhat urgent tone. I had ordered chicken curry, Cha sieuw and Chinese tomato soup, dishes that you normally have that often corresponds to most Chinese restaurants, but not so the chicken curry was still somewhat good, although the curry was not clearly bound as is so often the case. the case is, this was a creamy mess with half as much chicken and vegetables as you would expect, the taste was reasonable... The cha sieuw on the other hand was dramatic, normally this is red sweet pork, here it was an orange, slightly sourish type of meat, I wondered whether the meat was good at all, we were all really watching in our holiday home, this is cha sieuw !!!!it was really just dirty... The Chinese tomato soup was a thick mess with a dirty looking substance at the bottom which in my opinion is normally egg and should be but this didn't look like it, the characteristic sweet taste was more sour....yuck The nasi was decent, although we missed a slice of ham or egg on it... The mini spring rolls were good, but they also come ready-made from the factory I don't think the rather expensive price is worth it at all.... Maybe it would be an idea to get a good chef from somewhere else in the country, especially with such a well-known recreation park nearby... it will do your turnover well 😉

Ijs is lekker en locatie is prima. Maar wat een onvriendelijke bediening. Zowel bij opnemen van bestelling als het afrekenen. Alles is teveel voor ze. Jammer

Deze plek is erg duur. 16 euro voor een “aangepaste cocktail”. Erg bizar. Heb het nergens nog zo duur gezien. 4,50 voor een beetje blue curacao ipv cola…

Had a delicious lunch. I ordered a very complete lunch platter, more than enough for the number of people I ordered.

The anniversary wedding gift was an evening out for dinner with a couple of friends. We drove to Groenlo more than 45 minutes beforehand. Nice location. Beautiful building on the market in the center of Groenlo. It looks cozy inside. Sanitary facilities in good condition and clean. Dinner menu consisted of a list of dishes. 6 rounds. You were allowed to select 2 dishes per person per round. After 6 rounds you will have a full stomach. We had a nice time. One dish was tastier than the other. Tastes don't differ. But all in all we had a nice and especially enjoyable evening with friends. The girls/young ladies were friendly. They regularly kept a close eye on whether the glasses on our table remained filled. Fine. The dishes were placed on a large shelf on our table. Of the 6 rounds, we called them back 3 times to ask them to explain what the dishes were so that we as guests knew who what was for. We have missed the enthusiasm and joy of being a hostess for your guests. The couple of friends also noticed this. Not once: enjoy your meal or "enjoy the food" or "is everything to your liking". Too bad for such a beautiful thing. Nevertheless, the young ladies were really nice and did their best. As avid catering visitors, I would like to point out one thing. Then you order sorbet ice cream or apple pie, for example, and in our case you get delicious ice cream with that chemical spray whipped cream from a plastic spray bottle. After 2 minutes it is no longer whipped cream but liquid sludge. Bah. In our experience, things can really be different. In conclusion: we had a pleasant evening.
