Last Sunday, we reserved a table for 7 people for dinner. After an aperitif, we decided to opt for a main course and skip the starter. The surly waitress immediately asked if we could return the cutlery set for the starter (how unprofessional). The dishes were served; one main course was missing and one was incorrect. This was supposed to be corrected. In the meantime, the other guests started their meal. Halfway through the meal, we asked again where the missing dish was. This was dismissed with the response: "We can't stand to watch it!" Eventually, the dish arrived. Another 10 minutes later, the ordered fries arrived, while almost everyone had nearly finished eating. In short, a huge disappointment. When settling the bill, we were asked if everything had been to our liking, and when we indicated that we were not satisfied with the service, we were met with a shrug and no response whatsoever. In short, we decided to leave without ordering dessert and NEVER return. This restaurant is not recommended. Fortunately, there is a wide selection in Groenlo.

Delicious, fast and very affordable

Friendly service, but a bit chaotic; ordered a steak, and they came to tell us they didn't have any steak left and asked if we minded getting sirloin instead. Well, we thought it was okay, just a shame. But anyway, when it's gone, it's gone, so a steak was served eventually 😂 there was nothing on the salad except lettuce, tomato, and cucumber. The courgette soup was fine, but the pieces of raw courgette in the bowl were too thick. It is a pity, though; I think the quality is slowly declining.

The menu promised a delicious lunch. Unfortunately, the kitchen staff did not realize that the lettuce was really no longer suitable for presentation. Because it was hidden under the toppings, we didn't see it right away either, otherwise we certainly would have sent it back. A drink as compensation.

The food, in this case the lunch, was not good. A thick slice of bread buried under lettuce and covered in a nasty dressing that had soaked into the bread. There were minimal chicken thighs and mushrooms. The bacon and spinach were completely absent. I reported the above and received coffee as compensation. However, I did have to pay for an expensive lunch that I didn't finish. I will never come here again.

A bit of a sterile environment. Staff are attentive but not very friendly and/or engaged. The Stadsburger isn't very big, but it is well-done and spicy. However, for nearly €20, a bit of garnish or fries would have been appropriate. False economy, so not worth repeating.

Nice restaurant, good atmosphere, good service. The food was very good, but the portions were a bit meager. I had a beef shank of less than 150 grams with two pieces of bimi and three baby potatoes. Fries must be ordered separately.

Had a wonderful lunch here. The salmon sandwich with orange and carrot cream was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommended.

What a lovely restaurant! We tasted Shirly's apple pie which was absolutely amazing, worth visiting! Everything went fast and smooth, friendly staff and eye catching decorations!

Restaurant De Stadschpomp is named after the large water pump standing in front of it. You enter the restaurant through a fireplace, which features a warm and atmospheric interior. The bar invites you to order a draft beer. It has a good lunch menu with reasonably priced dishes. The service is prompt and friendly. On the upper floor, there is an additional restaurant area with its own bar. This is an excellent place to organize private gatherings. In short, this restaurant is highly recommended.

We had a wonderful evening. The decor is atmospheric and the service is attentive. The atmosphere was also pleasant. The food was delicious.

The Social Deal was perfect... Even without that offer, we would love to come back!

Waitresses often ask if you'd like another drink, and even during the meal, I was asked if everything was to your liking. The food is also very tasty and the portions are generous.

Yesterday, a late lunch at De Stads Pomp. It was quiet on the terrace, unlike across the street at Wissink, but I was in the mood for shrimp croquettes. After waiting for 10 minutes, my girlfriend went inside to order a drink; otherwise, we would certainly have had to wait another 10 minutes or longer. We both ordered croquettes—I the shrimp and she the ‘regular’ ones. By 2:00 PM, the brown bread was already sold out, the second disappointment. After ten minutes, our plates arrived. The shrimp croquettes looked more like bitterballen (small Dutch meatballs), they were so small, made of a fishy ragout with hardly a shrimp to be seen. It was very thoughtful that there was butter on the plate, but then again, no lemon with the fish disappointments number three, four, and five. What a shame, what a shame, what a shame!!!!! The only positive thing I can report is that I didn't get sick from it.

On a sunny Friday, on a sunny terrace in Groenlo: what more could you ask for?! A delicious lunch, served by friendly staff. Quick and as intended. A hamburger with delicious, grainy beef. Well prepared. A delicious salad with halloumi cheese. Nuts and more. A cheerful sight and delicious flavor. One to remember!

Downside: there were only 3 prawns in the PASTA GAMBA €24.50 main course... Sepia spaghetti topped with prawns, bell pepper sauce, French beans, and bread. It was otherwise fine. After I politely pointed it out, the staff responded: "Oh, yeah... it's not my choice." I then said, "Just pass it on to the management." No response. Missed opportunity, I say!

A lovely restaurant with cheerful young waitresses. Service is quick and friendly. The menu isn't extensive, but it's sufficient. The food is really good and tastefully prepared, and the desserts are delicious. If I had to mention anything negative, it would be the six dried-out flower stands. If you don't feel like caring for them, take them away!

Went out for dinner with family for my birthday. Unfortunately a bit of a downer. Very unfortunate Service was not attentive, you had to wait a long time before you could order a drink (the place was not busy). The food was not really hot..hope on the next visit it will be better.

Food was sufficient. Staff disinterested. First with wrong drinks, then wrong starter. Then forgot the drink. Not really hospitable. Price/quality not in proportion.

Beautiful place (except for the wall behind the stairs). Delicious food. Hamburger was delicious. Porkchop was huge and nice and tender. Weekly menu was a tender ribeye with mashed potatoes and mini courgettes and carrots... Friendly service. On the pricey side. 4 dishes with 8 drinks without starter or dessert 137 euros. All in all worth a visit.

We enjoyed lunch here on the lovely terrace on the town square. 12 hours and a warm brie sandwich from the oven...it tasted delicious. Nice company with friendly, smooth service. Also within a fantastic atmospheric environment.

Wij hebben hier op zaterdag 24 maart gegeten. We kregen een tafeltje met uitzicht op een blinde muur. Bijhet voorgerecht ( vitello tonato) viel ons op dat er weinig smaak aan zat. Ook zat er geen saus oo de vitello, wat toch echt zo hoort. De sfeer is het restaurant werd verstoord door luid schreeuwde gasten. Bij het hoofdgerecht zat mayonaisse die echt vreselijk smaakte. Na het diner toen gevraagd werd of het had gesmaakt, met ons nog halfvolle borden, zeiden we dat we het niet echt lekker vonden. Hier werd niets meegedaan. Bovendien vonden wij gezien de kwaliteit van het eten de prijzen erg hoog. Jammer van de zaterdagavond, voor ons eens maar nooit weer.

Today we had lunch in Groenlo, a nice city, but the weather was not very nice. But we did find an attractive and nice restaurant. Nice and warm upon entering, and the decor is very attractive, even the toilet. Friendly staff and good menu. Food is really great. Again, highly recommended.

Dit weekend twee keer geluncht in dit sfeervolle restaurant. Attente en zeer vriendelijke bediening, kwalitatief goed eten ( wild bouillon was fantastisch) in een mooie ambiance. Hopen zeker nog eens terug te komen!

Heerlijk en je kan er super gezellig zitten

Het licht veel te fel ongezellig en de patat koud en totaal geen groenten bij het eten.

Op de vrijdagavond hier gegeten en genoten van de kookkunsten en vanwege de goede ervaring de dag erna teruggekomen. Tweemaal heerlijk gegeten waarbij de voorgerechten steak tartaar en caprese opvielen en de biefstuk en weekspecial (kabeljauw) superlekker waren.

Het eten en de aankleding van het restaurant zijn prima. Bediening echter zo onder de maat dat je moet smeken om nog een drankje. Bestellingen worden niet goed opgenomen, bonnetjes kloppen niet.

Twee avonden gedineerd. Geweldig. 1ste avond biefstuk en kabeljauw, 2 de avond saté en dorado. Beide avonden top. Prima wijnkaart en nagerechten. Priis/ kwaliteit redelijk. Kortom een aanrader als je in Groenlo verblijft of woont.

Zonder twijfel een absolute aanrader! De goede sfeer was direct voelbaar zodra ik binnenkwam, en het eten was werkelijk voortreffelijk. Het vriendelijke en gezellige personeel maakte de ervaring des te plezieriger. Een bezoek hier is absoluut de moeite waard.

Fantastisch restaurant! Goede sfeer en leuke vlotte bediening! Leuk om in groenlo dagje weg te gaan en hier wat te gaan eten/drinken! Zeker een aanrader!

Prima en mooi ingerichte plek, echter zwaar overpriced voor het gebodene. Prijzen zijn exclusief bijgerechten. Eet je een biefstukje a 33 euro, komen daar nog groenten en frietjes apart bij, waardoor je op 45 euro zit. Dat is wel een heel straffe prijs voor een prima, maar niet heel speciale hoofdmaaltijd. De dorade met cajun kruiden kost met bijgerechten 35 euro, en dan krijg je werkelijk een bremzout visje, twee minimaiskolfjes en 3 partjes limoen. Het weekgerecht kabeljauw met ham was te doorbakken, maar dan weer een zeer ruime portie. Voorgerechten prima, nagerechten fantasieloos. Gemiddelde eetcafe kwaliteit dus. Bediening prima.

Een mooie gelegenheid waar een bezoek aan de wc zelf mooi is. Je komt niet vaak een mooie inrichting tegen maar het is zeker de moeite waard om niet alleen buiten op het terras een koffie te drinken maar ook binnen kijken te kijken. Het bediende personeel is attent vriendelijke wat het bezoek helemaal kompleet maak. Ben je in de buurt is een bezoek zeker waard.

Heerlijke cappuccino met appel gebak genuttigd. Vriendelijk personeel. Sfeervol terras.

Informatie op de menukaart had uitgebreider gemogen. Niet iedereen vindt mayonaise lekker bij de kroket en dat had ik dan ook liever vooraf geweten. Ook is het niet perse gebruikelijk om Roseval aardappelpartjes te koken en dat werd wel zo verteld. Even googlen leverde een prachtige foto van een traybake met Roseval aardappelpartjes (dus wel gebakken). Mijn vriendin zat niet te wachten op tot pap gekookte aardappelen en heeft ze dan ook terug gebracht. Bediening had ook beter gekund, de menukaart werd in het voorbijgaan op onze tafel gesmeten en ook had het personeel de tafelnummers niet paraat

Wat een tegenvaller. Altijd goed geweest maar benieuwd wat er is veranderd. De kaart is opeens een opsomming van schnitzel, spareribs kipsate en andere standaard gerechten. Dieptepunt was dat we voor patat en salade moesten bijbetalen. Een kinderhandje vol friet voor 4 euro. Hoe durf je het te vragen voor de goedkoopste zak van de groothandel. Salade was ook 4 euro voor een kleine komkommer en tomaat in blokjes gesneden. Het zijn zware tijden, maar je hoeft je marge niet op die manier te maken.

Prachtig nieuwe locatie om uit eten te gaan. Centraal gelegen op de markt in Groenlo. Prachtig terras. Maar binnen nog veel fraaier. Aanrader voor Groenlo en uit eten te gaan met vrienden, familie of zaken relaties. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel dat je graag helpt, probeer ook hun cocktails eens..... Heerlijk eten in gezellige sfeer met fijne en vriendelijke medewerkers.

Fijne plek, lekkere hapjes, gezellig met collega's geborreld. Prima bediening.

Vriendelijk personeel, goede porties, veel gerechten kunnen ook vegatarisch waardoor er voldoende keus is voor iedereen, en het frambozen tiramisu toetje is echt heel erg goed!
