Cozy terrace right in the center. Had a drink after a bike ride.

Although the ordered coffee arrived very quickly, the food was slow to come. The steak was still not at the table after 1.5 hours! Perhaps it was still running around in the meadow?

Everything was just really good, nothing to complain about. It was for lunch, so highly recommended.

Cozy restaurant. The food was a bit disappointing. We had pork tenderloin with mushrooms. The mushrooms and the sauce were cold. The meat was lukewarm. We sent the food back. We received new food that was warm. The meat and the sauce were a bit tasteless, though. The fries were fine. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

We had to wait a long time for our dish, even though it wasn't busy. After 45 minutes, we asked the staff where our food was, and then it was served within 2 minutes. But we both felt like everything had been thrown into the Airfryer quickly; the fries were rock hard and the satay wasn't very good. My daughter felt like it wasn't even properly cooked. And to pay so much for that too. No, they won't see us back here again.

The food took a very long time! When I finally asked the wait staff where the food was, it suddenly appeared on the table within 2 minutes. But the fries were rock hard and the satay very mediocre… as if the whole lot had been quickly thrown into an Airfryer. And on top of that, paying a lot of money for it. No, they won't see us again.

Enjoyed a delicious meal and drinks with a group for a celebratory occasion. The pre-dinner menus for large groups were extensive. Excellent service, and we were pleasantly surprised by the personalized menu on the table and the thoughtful touches!

Everything was weird and disappointing - both food and service. We were a group of more than 10 people. When we tried to make a reservation, the restaurant kept pushing us to choose a fixed menu with only a few dish options. Apparently, this was so that they could prepare the food more efficiently. Since the menu didn’t include many of the dishes we wanted to order (it only had very basic options such as hamburgers, chicken satay, steak, fish steak, etc.), we preferred to order à la carte. However, the restaurant kept insisting that we choose the fixed menu, warning us that otherwise there could be delays. From a customer’s perspective, it felt like the restaurant was shifting their operational burden onto us. In the end, we agreed to the set menu because they kept warning us about possible delays, and we didn’t want to ruin our dinner. On the day of the dinner, we were seated at three round tables. Four of us were sitting at one table, and the appetizers and desserts were supposed to be shared. However, the way the food was served was very strange. The appetizers were served on four large plates, each meant for “three people.” The desserts were served on two large plates, each meant for “six people.” Because of this, we constantly had to pass the shared plates around the table. Why not simply prepare plates for a table of four? It was very inconvenient and disappointing. The appetizers were poor. None of the dishes seemed house-made. They were simply fried loempia, salami (which didn’t taste fresh at all), mackerel salad, etc. It was frustrating that we couldn’t order from the à la carte menu. For the main dish, I ordered a fish dish that was extremely salty. On top of that, several large fish bones were found in the dish. The desserts were also disappointing—too sweet and again seemingly not house-made. The strangest experience happened right after the main course. Surprisingly, our desserts were served while some of us were still busy with having the main dishes. Everyone at the table was speechless. We didn’t even have time to relax after finishing the main course before the desserts arrived. It honestly made us feel like the restaurant wanted us to leave as quickly as possible. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience from the beginning till the end.

What a wonderful evening we had. February 19, 2026 Wine & Dine 'Balkan Beats'. With delicious food and wine, and not to forget the music! And the friendly and excellent service.

We visited Markt 5 twice in one week – first for brunch, where the children were served beautiful and child-friendly dishes. Later we came for dinner, and it was just as good. Super cozy place for both children and adults.

The yellow lollipop is very tasty, sweet with a slight sourness. The red lollipop is more cherry-like, not my taste

Het eten was koud, het vlees was niet gaar. Ik hoorde dat het door een 18 jarige kok is gemaakt en ik snap niet waarom jullie zulke slechte mensen in dienst hebben. Ik heb nog onthouden dat deze kok Luuk heette, ik heb veel geld uitgegeven aan slecht eten. Erg slechte ervaring en raad het zwaar af.

Helaas moet ik aangeven dat ons laatste bezoek een teleurstelling was. De asperges werden niet gaar geserveerd en moesten terug naar de keuken. Tot onze spijt was ook de rest van ons eten, na een tweede poging koud en nog steeds niet gaar. We hadden ons verheugd, maar de kwaliteit voldeed niet aan onze verwachtingen.

The four of us had a lovely drink and dinner here during our holiday. What an atmospheric and fun place! The menu is not very special, but fits in perfectly with this concept. When making a reservation, we had asked for a quiet spot by the wall due to the lack of sound, and this was well accommodated. If you want to eat here in the evenings, I recommend making a reservation. We had previously had drinks on the terrace (with fantastic nachos as a snack) and that was also very pleasant

Mooie locatie met ruim terras en mooi interieur in het centrum van Lichtenvoorde. Fraai en ruim terras met goede vlotte bediening. De gerechten zijn echter karig. Zo is een "Sate Ajam) €21,00 terwijl je maar 1 stokje sate met een beetje satesaus krijgt met een klein bakje friet en wat rauwkost.

We thought about coffee and cake. Cake is served without coffee. After fifteen minutes still no coffee. I understand that it is a holiday and that you are busy with holiday workers but given that all tables still have used glasses and plates this is simply bad management. Pecan Pie was tasty nothing special. Spoon cake well, I think it is prepared with Mochon which makes you quickly speak of cake instead of yogurt which makes it look more like a breakfast cake.

I ate spare ribs from the new menu here today. Highly recommended! The meat was super tender and it slid off the bone. That's how you want it.

We hebben lekker gegeten, de maaltijden waren van goede kwaliteit. Alleen waren de wachttijden voor en tussen de gangen door naar onze mening veel te lang. Waarschijnlijk kon de keuken de hoeveelheid gasten niet aan en probeerde men de tijd te rekken om extra drank aan de man te brengen, want hier kwam ze (te) vaak voor langs.

Ik was in de buurt, en wilde graag een lekker, simpel maar ook een tikje luxe tent. Het interieur erg mooi, en gezellig. Leuk team van medewerkers, vriendelijk. Als voorgerecht de heerlijke salade met pompoen, selderij etc. Alleen zat er pastinaak in, mwah wat minder.. maargoed ieder zijn ding. Wel een mooi opgemaakt bord. Vervolgens het hoofdgerecht, mooi geserveerd. Wel wat weinig. Op een begeven moment was ik aan het kauwen op een aromazakje waar de specerijen van het eten in zaten. Dit maakte de smaak van het stoofvlees erg overheersend. Maargoed, iedereen kan een keer een fout maken. Dit heeft het personeel mooi opgepakt. De herfstbokbier werd van de prijs afgetrokken. Goede service. En stonden open voor mijn feedback. Ik raad het zeker aan een keer te dineren. Op een paar kleine foutjes na, een top restaurant.

The young man / clerk wearing the blue denim shirt was very driven and enthusiastic and was an example of how things should be done.

Tonijnsandwich besteld ,heel erg veel sla .Ik heb een sandwich besteld geen salade .De tonijn was ver te zoeken en matig van smaak .Dit kan veel beter ,zeker voor Achterhoekse begrippen .Bediening vriendelijk .Interieur nu al in kerstsfeer ,houd je aan de seizoenen.Herfst,pompoenen etc is nu meer van toepassing.

Markt Vijf has a nice terrace on the market square of Lichtenvoorde. We were kindly received, helped quickly and lunch was served quite quickly. Fresh bread. Attentive service who regularly asks if there are any wishes, would you like a drink? Does it taste good? Also time for a nice chat, even though it was quite busy.

Poor quality meat (beef Bali), butcher shop Gosselink???!, way too well done for a medium baked. Wat een heerlijke lunch! We zijn met de old Timer (VW bus) aan het touren, en hier neer gestreken… super plekje, leuke bediening, lekker eten!

Het eten zelf was lekker, alleen jammer dat ze geen rekening kunnen houden met het eten van geen varkensvlees. Om bijvoorbeeld kipfilet te nemen ipv ham. Hierna door fout vanuit bedrijf, veel te veel afgerekend. Hier zelf op teruggekomen, geld terug gekregen. Toen zaten we buiten op terras nog een sigaretje te roken, kwamen ze erachter dat ze teveel hebben teruggegeven dus vroegen ze ons om nog een keer bij te betalen. Vond dit niet klantvriendelijk en asociaal, omdat de fout bij hun lag en niet bij ons.
