Skik & Zo in Wijk 01 Lichtenvoorde

Had a nice lunch The midday snack was good. The tomato soup is especially tasty. Free parking right outside

Our order hadn't reached the kitchen. As a result, we waited a long time for the bread roll. The main course was schnitzel and pork medallions; the schnitzel was very well-done, dry, and hard. The pork medallion was a piece of overcooked pork tenderloin, also dry and hard. Very disappointing; I certainly won't be eating there a second time.

We had to wait almost an hour for our order; there was a significant staff shortage, and it was noticeable. As a result, the lunch wasn't really great either; my soup was almost cold, but since I didn't feel like waiting for a long time again, I only ate half of it. We received a complimentary drink for the long wait, which is a nice gesture. Fortunately, the outdoor terrace was a pleasant place to linger a bit longer. I think that with sufficient staff or on weekdays, it would be a fine restaurant.

"It was another delicious lunch! The value for money is really top-notch 👊👍 They have such a beautiful outdoor terrace there with gorgeous, diverse, and chic garden sets… Our compliments on the decor! Today we were served again by super friendly girls; they really deserve a big compliment 👊👍👏 Until next time 😁 Best regards, Vero and Gerard 🌻"

I have been to Skik & Zo quite often in the past and it was usually fine, but unfortunately, my last visit was quite disappointing. This time, it was literally 'no fun'. Even though it wasn't busy at all, the service took a very long time to arrive. For lunch, the kids' menu consisted exclusively of chicken nuggets. I really missed a less unhealthy alternative. To my surprise, it was also not possible to order a simple, normal sandwich for the little ones. The food we received was okay in itself, but the price simply does not match the quality and the service provided. Very unfortunate. Where it used to be a nice place, Skik & Zo is now missing the mark, especially if you are coming for lunch with young children.

The food is good, no doubt about that. The girls working there are also very friendly. However, quite a few things went wrong with the serving. What we saw (in about 3 hours that we were there) was an order "delivered" to the wrong table at least 6 times. For us, that can happen once, but 6 times is quite a lot. Furthermore, we had indicated NO mushrooms, but what was included.........

Delicious food and friendly service

It's really nice to sit here for a while, with good chairs and a lovely terrace. Drinks are served really beautifully and the food is truly excellent.

A very nice place for a lovely, quiet lunch and/or dinner. Nice furniture both inside and on the terrace. Pleasant service. Nice atmosphere. Good value for money.

Had a delicious meal, multiple lunches and dinners.

It is always a treat to be here, delicious food, incredibly nice staff, nothing is too much trouble, Pleasantly surprised today for a birthday, with music, singing and fireworks, Thank you very much,

We had a delicious meal at their place yesterday. The service was very good and there was a nice atmosphere. This is definitely highly recommended.

We ended up here by accident, but it was delicious. Luckily, we were able to change the booking. Lunch is perfect. I don't like eggs, so you get carpaccio instead of egg, great! The service was also very friendly and the food arrived quickly.

Nice restaurant with a nice menu and efficient service

We had a delicious meal here twice from the new menu. The portions were more than sufficient and very tasty.

Had a delicious meal. Very atmospheric and warm location. Enthusiastic and friendly service... compliments on the overall experience. Highly recommended for food lovers.

We booked a last-minute bowling package here for 5 people. Afterwards, we took a seat in the restaurant. What a cozy atmosphere with nice furniture. The food took a little longer than intended. After asking about this, it was quickly addressed and resolved. The food tasted very good! The service is very attentive and friendly. We would love to come back here again.

Fantastic food and lovely staff. We had dinner here with friends, and it's definitely recommended.

Beautiful place with holiday homes, nice atmosphere. Lunch was good and sufficient.

The four of us thoroughly enjoyed a SocialDeal. The cozy atmosphere at a holiday park.

Had a three-course meal here through a social deal. Excellent food and very good service. Very friendly staff. Excellent restaurant.

What a lovely surprise... Super friendly service who went above and beyond to ensure you had a pleasant evening. And then there's the food. Delicious starters: Chicken Katsu and Mushrooms Dordogne. Both generously portioned and very tasty. The main course was schnitzel with onion, bacon, and mushrooms, and the salmon fillet, both again delicious. For dessert: apple and peach crunch and coffee with a sweet treat. All in all, definitely worth experiencing!

Super delicious food. The special offer menu was worth double the price.

We had a delicious lunch. Plenty of choice, delicious, and reasonably priced. The place was comfortable and well-lit.

Second time here. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing the first time... the portions were very small (especially the schnitzel). However, the flavor was good. The service was very friendly.

The food was very tasty and of good quality. The staff was enthusiastic and friendly, mostly young. The only downside was that there was no soap in the men's restroom. Overall, a great restaurant.

We had completely different expectations because the old menu was still online. The food was disappointing, and the quality was completely out of proportion to what you get. You pay a hefty €17.50 for a dry hamburger (no matter which one you choose), and that comes with nothing. The side dishes are expensive! They claim to do this to prevent waste, but in reality, it's just lining the owner's pockets. Even a three-course meal doesn't include any side dishes, making the bill very high for the food you get. You're better off driving somewhere else where the price is commensurate with the quality.

Delicious food, generous portions, friendly/professional staff, a real night out

Delicious food, atmospheric restaurant, hospitable service

Had lunch here this afternoon. Fantastic! We've eaten at many places, but never had such a delicious and beautifully presented meal. Wonderful. We're going to Marrveld in December, but we'll definitely be back to eat here. Superb, thank you, you're a great team. Oosting Haandrikman Family

At Skik & Zo, a cozy atmosphere and a pleasant atmosphere come together. You'll receive enthusiastic service, and the menu is easily accessible, with something for everyone. Whether you're staying at the park or visiting the surrounding area, you'll always feel welcome at Skik & Zo!

We, five adults, had a wonderful meal at Skik&zo three days in a row. A young team of staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Orders were placed on time, the food was delicious, and the staff were super friendly. We felt truly welcome!

We were guests at the Topparken and ate in the restaurant. Unfortunately, the menu is only available in Dutch, despite the many international guests. The quality of the food was mediocre, but the prices were very high. €25 for a schnitzel without any side dishes is very expensive. The staff is friendly. The bowling alley in the basement is also quite good.

Nice place for a stop for lunch.

Had a delicious lunch. I ordered a very complete lunch platter, more than enough for the number of people I ordered.

We had a delicious lunch platter and highly recommend it. We're so enthusiastic about it that I serve it the same way at home when I have lunch guests.

Enjoyed a delicious lunch you can sit there comfortably and the staff is friendly

Let's start positive, staff was friendly, which withheld me from 1 star ranking. Service is very slow, which was explained later when I went to the toilet: the whole staff were sitting inside chatting with each other while the whole terrace was full. Food quality is lousy: I had a burger, which was so well done that the meat was dried out. But the meat quality was low anyway, that I even didn't bother to complain (and wait again. long time). My wife ordered "Ossehaas Spies" which was dry also.

Cosy terrace. Possibilities in sun and shade

Beautiful location delicious food lots of choice friendly service 100% enjoyed!

Discovered it through social deals, great location (holiday park) and excellent restaurant! Delicious food, definitely worth trying!

As far as I'm concerned, a recommendation. Atmosphere is good, service very friendly and delicious food. Parking is fine and free. Nice quiet environment. Holiday feeling.

Really delicious food, definitely recommended. However, we thought the tables were too close together. The neighbors were less than an arm's length away from us and you could hear the entire conversation between them.

Delicious food and the staff was very friendly! No long waiting times, in short, highly recommended!

Delicious food and super friendly staff! Highly recommended.

Great restaurant, the food was delicious 👌

The food was very tasty. The special (surf and turf burger) is highly recommended. Very friendly and competent staff. We had a wonderful evening.

Wait staff not interested. Not friendly. No eye contact.

Very nice bowling alley. Good food and really enough. Unfortunately, some items have already sold out, but this may have been due to holidays.

Food is fine, but not particularly surprising! Prices are too high when it comes to value for money!

We were here for the lunch platter. Well filled, tasty salads and sandwiches. Top.

Delicious food and very friendly staff

Excellent food for a very reasonable price. Only the drinks are a bit expensive. Atmosphere was excellent, staff very friendly.

A very nice restaurant located on a small-scale holiday park. The menu is not enormous, but there is sufficient choice. We were there with a party of six, and tried several items on the list. I would recommend the oriental platter as starter. As main course the steak was very good, as well as the salmon. We are planning a second visit! Service was excellent and very friendly.

I ordered the snitzel Achterhoek it was so tasty I still couldn't finish my plate this was the best snitzel ever I definitely recommend eating here if I could give 6 stars I would have done it very good service very friendly and delicious food I will be back soon to eat here again, thanks Skik

Top food, nice friendly service.

Eating out with our family. Service was friendly and no long waiting times. Unfortunately the food was nothing special. In addition, the pangasius medallion did not taste good for 2 people, it was lukewarm and, in our opinion, undercooked. We reported this to the staff who then adjusted our bill. Dinner was not what we expected.

Delicious steak for a great price. Highly recommended and definitely worth repeating!

You can sit there in a very cozy atmosphere, we had a board with toppings, sandwiches, soup and bitterballen, which was fine👌

3.75 for a glass of milk with lunch... The plank for lunch tasted good, but we were all still hungry and had to ask for extra sandwiches. Service with a small s. The skik is over for us.

Delicious food. Nice atmosphere especially outside. Delicious portion

Cozy restaurant and excellent consultation about special dinner for group.

Did the social deal thing! Nice food, very nice service.

Beautiful location, delicious food.

Really expensive for what you get. Go into the village.

Beautifully renovated interior and had a delicious meal twice with a large group. Everything was different and everything was delicious.

Excellent food for a good price and very friendly and enthusiastic staff. Definitely recommended and worth repeating.

The salmon fillet was thick and undercooked and tasteless. As a courtesy, a new one arrived at the table only when the table companions had already finished eating. This was done but still lacked flavor. We won't be back.

Large portions and nicely decorated dishes

After a long time, perhaps too long (-;), we ate at Skik & Zo. It was a surprise menu 'Skik met preuven' which was really a surprise... 4 small menus WITH 4 drinks. You could choose between different beers or wine. A very successful evening with nice surprises. We started with bread and tapenade with a Prosecco, then a delicious beef carpaccio with a white wine, then prawns with a white wine and finally a delicious piece of grilled steak with a good red wine. Well, let's face it, something like that for €32.50, really great quality/price with ditto service, friendly team and chef.

I sat down in a furniture of worn chairs and wobbly tables. Furthermore, I have rarely eaten as badly and expensively as I did here. It's a shame, I & we won't be coming anymore.

Delicious food, friendly service

Fine for a bite to eat, but don't expect culinary delights. Modern decorated

Bediening is traag. Lang moeten wachten op het eten.

Heel vriendelijk personeel.

Vriendelijke medewerkers, veel goed uitziende gerechten voorbij zien komen.

We komen graag weer terug!
