The atmosphere is subpar because it's a takeout only restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious, highly recommended.

I ordered food tonight and it said it would take 45 minutes. That wasn't so bad, but it took longer. The delivery person also said, "Sorry, they were busy." When I asked, "What if it's cold now?" "No problem, just call right away." Well, I did that and knew exactly what to do. I've never been treated so rudely. The woman's answer was, "Don't have it delivered, or just heat it up in the microwave (which I don't have). Besides, a spring roll in the microwave doesn't sound very tasty either. I'm not used to this kind of response and this kind of service. I'll order somewhere else next time (and I'd already been warned they'd gotten worse). But the worst part was that the woman didn't want any criticism and simply hung up the phone. It was truly rude.

How disappointing that was! Ordered the monthly menu by telephone. It would be ready at 6:15 PM. After having to wait until 6:45 PM in a crowded waiting room, we finally received our food. When we got home the food turned out to be almost cold and it was really bad! Everything was very mushy...way too wet. If it is so terribly busy and people are still calling for orders, be honest and just say as the owner that it is too busy and ordering is no longer possible. Being honest is much better than making people wait so long and giving them bad meals.

The spring roll special was delicious again, best ever eaten and not the first time ordered there.

I've had a whole lot of experience with indo-china food, but the takeaway is the best in the region. Loempia special is the best - you can't really eat there. But with good weather and chopsticks you can picnic anywhere.

Picked up food on Mother's Day, not ordered. No information was given about waiting time, customers who came in after us received their order earlier. After an hour of waiting and asking, the order suddenly (? ) arrived. Was normal order for 2 people. It was communicated on the telephone. Maureen also had to be delivered and was ready to be picked up for 15 to 20 minutes. Food was delicious, yes. With a little more attention to those waiting, it would be a lot friendlier.

The food was fine, but we had to wait over an hour for it to be delivered, ordering almost a week in advance to have it delivered at 6pm. Little to no service or compensation, it's a public holiday so it was said to be busy, but that's why we ordered it far in advance, that was for a reason. The meal delivered by China express Koedijk is embarrassingly bad! Really not to be missed! The only thing good was the rice! Plain white rice without any vegetables in it! I'm a new resident nearby, but I will never order from here again! Not a hint of flavor at all!

Kitchen is getting worse and worse. Ordered today for the last time. Monthly menu is really bad. Nasty tasteless sticky mess. Chicken satay looked like rubber. I specifically asked them if they wanted to fry the nasi, but alas. Looked like rice porridge.

What a pity that the food has been adapted to Dutch style. Definitely the babi pangang sauce and Foe younghai sauce They were really delicious but now sorry... not as tasty as it used to be. Babi pangang and Foe young hai look good without sauce but you eat it once with sauce. Once again, it's a shame that the sauces have changed. The Satay Ajam + satay sauce is also different. Anyway, this Chinese came closest to Indian cuisine, unfortunately it no longer looks like it. But good tastes differ.

I have always had a delicious meal here. Ordered two main courses today for €37.50 with extra white rice. Order delivered but with wrong dish. Then the food is of terrible quality. Sauce tastes like thick tomato soup thickened with way too much potato starch, Koe Loe Yuk all batter with almost no pork in it. I call with this complaint and am told fine sir, have a nice evening. Appears to be new owner. I will never order from here again!!!! Bad food and no service. Just making money. Kill sin.

After ordering a monthly menu, 4 people ate it, 1 only had nasi and the other 3 had a menu. Those 3 have found the best friend on earth, the toilet. If you send your complaint, nothing will happen and you will be dismissed. Nothing wrong, it's not possible. Well 1 has had medication from his own boss for food poisoning. So they don't know how to deal with it and we are not happy that it is being brushed off like this, it should have been resolved properly. We have now written to the Food and Consumer Product Safety Act and hope that other people who have also been so ill will Do the same, first complain to them, it is not handled properly, also with the other online submissions. It's a shame that it has to happen this way, but I don't know what could happen to people who are a bit older and sensitive. hence our step.

All of us at home here are suffering from severe diarrhea from this food. I ordered 50 euros worth of food. Hygiene is lacking in this company!!!! The best Chinese in Alkmaar. We've been coming there for years. Due to circumstances we have tried another Chinese restaurant, but this one is by far the best. Nasi and noodles always taste the same here, but in a really good way. Fast service too, all good.
