China House in Wijk 05 Het Reeland

Very delicious. A lovely, cozy restaurant. Pleasant Chinese music, fresh flowers, and a goldfish aquarium. Jasmine tea. A wonderful atmosphere.

Tasty, but the accommodation wasn't special.

The food is so dripping with oil that it wouldn't surprise me if the US invaded. Mysterious pricing; online you find a price of €28 for a rijsttafel for 2 people, but in the restaurant itself the menu states €35, yet I had to pay €37.50. Tasteless, crumbly prawn crackers. Highly not recommended.

We had a very tasty meal, the Chinese specialties are very good!

You are being ripped off right before your eyes. An extra 1.40 was charged, which was initially said to be for the noodles, but later turned out to be the amount for the packaging and the plastic bag. Every time you go there, there is something wrong! The rijsttafel for 4 people was very bland and there was one bowl of noodles missing. Well, this was definitely the last time for me, especially since I got a rude response from the lady😱 I wonder what happens when the Food Inspection Service takes a look inside that kitchen🤢

A very disappointing and unprofessional experience. During checkout, the prices were suddenly increased without any notice or explanation. Only after I'd used my card did I discover the amount was higher than expected. When I asked how this was possible, it turned out the card reader was positioned so I couldn't see the screen—a setup that's anything but transparent. When I complained about this, the response I received was: "Then go to another Chinese restaurant." Such arrogant attitude towards customers is utterly scandalous and confirms my suspicion that this is a case of deliberate deception. This is no way to treat people. In short: I strongly advise against this restaurant. There are plenty of other Chinese restaurants where you will be treated fairly and respectfully.

Good ambient but service is poor

Dirty, disgusting mess, food is very bad, this is a case of far-reaching glory, the NVWA should take a look at this dirty place and also have such an antisocial woman behind the counter.

The lady boss is very nice. I arrived late, and the landlady went to the kitchen to help arrange a dish of hand-shredded cabbage, a dish of salt and pepper chicken, and a drink for only 20 euros. The rice is a bit salty and the food is very tasty.

I've never had such bad Chinese food before, it looked like a mess and didn't taste good at all. It was supposed to be chicken with mushrooms... half a can of sliced champions with a few shreds of chicken was what I was looking at. Not a bit of taste and certainly not Chinese. So super bad!

Delicious food, friendly and quick service. Extra plate for a child, no problem.

Great. Two evenings with a total of 46 people, we were served all kinds of delicious dishes. And only positive reactions from my guests.

Very bad food. Not tasty and everything is in a kind of jelly or something. Almost everything was thrown away. Afterwards it turns out that I was also charged 3 euros too much...

Ordered nasi with babi pangang here, unfortunately disappointing. It already didn't smell good and the taste confirmed the strange smell. Never here again for me! Almost traumatized for life

Said it was open on Sunday, but they weren't open...

Food very substandard Wouldn't recommend this

Very bad food, ordered yesterday for 58 euros. Ultimately, I got sick from it and I have the feeling that this kitchen does not fully work according to the HACCP standards. Finally I called and a very unfriendly lady answered the phone. Never again for me!

We have been coming to this Chinese restaurant for over 40 years. We have never complained. Now the spring rolls were so greasy that they fell apart. Called immediately to report it, but was laughed at by the owner. When you pick up spring rolls, they are always limp and soft, according to her. I often get spring rolls and have never had that experience. The conversation ended with her saying she would rather lose a customer who has been coming there for so long than offer a solution. Not customer friendly at all!

We got there very early so we didn't get much of the atmosphere. The food was delicious.

Terrible place, I ordered Pork belly (popular option), the meat was really old. Does not speak English, there are 2 different menus, English without prices. The side dish is also horrible. The atmosphere is very bad, some man is playing with a slot machine, there is no music. We ordered 1 beer, scored 2. The price of food is also from the air. Don't go here!

Good food but quite expensive than before. Furthermore, hardworking people who do everything to give you a good evening. I still like coming there

Bijna alles is weggegooid

Lekker eten, gezellige sfeer, vriendelijke bediening.

Goeie Chinees vooral spekjes aanrader krokant

Lekkere Chinees.

eten is altijd lekker. Vaste klant

Vriendelijke bediening, informele sfeer, heel klein restaurant, lekker eten

Nou, bevalt me prima hoor.

More old fashioned than this is not possible, I think. The drinks are cheap (2 Euro) but the food is at best just okay. We had a duck tipan (too dry and not crispy but generally good in taste) and a vegetable dish (number 189) with bean curd. This dish was fresh and had a very pleasing taste. If you like to experience what Chinese restaurants used to be like in NL, this is a good place to go. If you go exclusively for nice food, I would look elsewhere.

Voordelig en knus eten. Bediening is iets minder.

Heerlijk eten, mooie prijs, aardig personeel!

Heerlijke Chinese rijsttafel gegeten, zeer smakelijk!

Very friendly owners, visited 21:30 on Sunday, made me some very tasty chicken with rice and vegetables. Does not accept Mastercards though. Would come back :)

Vriendelijk personeel. Goedkoop

Middelmatige Chinees.

Ok Chinese restaurant, but there are better options in Dordrecht for sure portion wise

Good menu for a good price. Ideal with kids. Love the '1 price all inclusive' deal
