I sometimes get Chinese food here; the food quality itself is okay, but it is getting more and more expensive. What strikes me every time, though, is the worn-out entrance hall at the takeaway counter. Old, worn-out benches, old floor tiles—it's either very cold or very hot, benches completely worn out—and then I think... can't you see that as the owner? Couldn't they just put a fresh coat of paint on it? New benches? I mean... it detracts from the impression of quality... I wonder what it looks like inside the kitchen...

We had an all-you-can-eat meal with 4 people. It was delicious.

Good Chinese, takeout. You can also get Japanese food there. Reasonable sushi selection, but the quality is mediocre. Definitely recommended for a tasty (takeout) Chinese meal.

Simply a great place to eat. The service is superb, everyone is incredibly nice, and the food can only be described as delicious.

I ate here last Saturday with my in-laws for my father-in-law's birthday. The food itself tasted fine, but unfortunately, I contracted a foodborne illness from the sushi, which made me very sick. So, unfortunately, not recommended.

Just what a food factory!!! You pay a huge amount of money for sushi from the fridge!! The meat is also extremely overcooked and the staff really don't know what they're doing either, never again!!!!!!

The sushi is not fresh, it comes from the fridge! The beef tenderloin tastes like chewing gum, and most of the staff don't speak English or Dutch. All in all, don't go eat there!!!

If you order a modified menu without ham, you'll find ham in the nasi and bami, which is delicious. But not really.

Great service. But... Fish tempura (igloo?). Victoria perch. Very fishy. Salmon???. Tenderloin?...? Duck...???. Used to be really good... now disappointed.

We ate from the cheeseboard here, but it was truly awful. The tipan pork tenderloin was like rubbery, with no flavor. The chicken meatballs were overcooked. We had to pay full price, even though the dish went straight back to the kitchen. The owner couldn't handle criticism, unfortunately!

The food tasted great, we ate a la carte, but the plates were worn and I had already thrown them away at home. Not recommended.

It's been a while since I've had such a disgusting Chinese meal. Frog legs were dry and meatless, and the Chinese shashlik at the Tipan rijsttafel was dry and tough. The other Tipan was pork, beef, and chicken mixed together, with a bland, bland sauce, and the same sauce on all the Tipans. A no-go for me.

We chose the menu instead of the all-you-can-eat option. We ordered tjau min, dumplings, and babi pangang. Everything was delicious, and the owner goes above and beyond to please her customers. Because of all this, we'll definitely be back. Tjau min, just like it is in Suriname...superb!

The food is almost always good. We've been coming here for a few years, and only when the chef changes do you sometimes experience a difference in taste, but the quality remains good. Definitely recommended.

Takeaway service excellent and restaurant also good experiences

Quite a dark restaurant; if you walk past, you'd think they were closed. Upon entering, I explained about their tapas. The regular menu was more than sufficient, and the food was good...and there was something for everyone.

Food was delicious, the only thing that let it down was the menu wasn't available in English. Then again, I guess they don't get many English visitors in that part of Dordrecht, so not surpring, really. Would've been useful because Google Translate wasn't helping much as I had a low signal. Staff were helpful and we got there in the end. Worth the visit.

The service can't keep up with the crowds, meaning you'll never be able to get your four courses during the all-you-can-eat menu. We were already full, but they don't offer it as an option if it's not possible.

We were asked to sit at an unset table. The table wasn't set either. The waitress/owner barely had time for us and was in a rush. The Chinese Indonesian rice table was €39.50 each for two people. What was served was absolutely not worth €80. The food was quite decent. But €40 would have been more than enough for what was offered. We finally had to ask for napkins. We'll find another place from now on.

Very hospitable and delicious food!

Most dishes are excellent. The very young waitresses try their best, but they're constantly being yelled at by the two owners. Incidentally, the latter only speak to regular customers or when you're paying and they're trying to squeeze a tip. The fake smile disappears immediately if you pay without tipping. A bit of a shame.

Excellent meal at Lotus Dordrecht A group of 10 enjoyed a delicious dinner at Lotus in Dordrecht. Friendly, fast service, and delicious dishes. Highly recommended for both small and large groups.

Unfortunately, this is really the score I think it deserved. Food was the lowest quality available (especially the mini spring rolls), fried banana had way too much oil in it (and all containers with paper were soaked in oil) and the skewers did not fit in the container that was split so there was a lot of satay sauce ran out and ended up in the paper. 2 stars because the babi panggang was a large portion (sauce separately is +1 euro) even though the quality was very poor. When ordering they ask for prawn crackers? I found out that those prawn crackers, something that might cost them 35 cents, cost an extra 3.50 on the bill.

I have great difficulty with this Highlights: 'run by a female owner' Why is that better? Goes against the anti-discrimination article in the Constitution! What's coming next? 'owner is non-white'? (Or non-white) One more....Lgbtq friendly.... I have never experienced anyone being UNfriendly to anyone. In other words, polarizing and exclusionary. I don't think it's possible

Good food and for a nice price. We have enjoyed many meals here. A mix of Japanese and Chinese food with some Indonesian food. Their all you can eat diner is amazing and fills you quickly

Had an all you can eat here for the first time and also the last time. The food is a poor 5, actually just a big 4. Food with much more potential. But everything is fried too long and/or too greasy or tastes like pure pork. They even dared to fry the duck breast fillet. The sushi was decent but way too much mayonnaise. The pork belly tasted like dirty pork. The tjaptoi tasted like nothing other than burnt. The nasi was decent but very dry. The fish and the garlic chicken were fried way too long. The best was the tomato soup. Such a shame and far too expensive in comparison. You better go to rasa senang.

Good food, you can choose everything yourself

What an absolutely amazing restaurant, operated by a family for many years. The decor is stunning and suits the restaurant nicely. It serves a combination of Chinese, Japanese and Indonesian cuisine. There are two dining options: an á la carte menu option, or a "tapas-style" menu selection option, from here you can choose up to 20 dishes, across 4 round, from a staggering selection of over 100 dish choices. The bar is suitably well stocked with a huge range of beers, wines and spirits, including sake (warm or cold) and Korean Soju. The floor manager is especially helpful in making choice recommendations.

Both the employee and the two owners are customer-oriented, friendly and helpful without the feeling that you are being rushed.

We hebben all you can eat sushi gegeten en het erg leuk gehad. Niet alles ging goed met de bestellingen, maar ach dat heb je wel eens! Overall was het eten goed, alleen kwam niet alles tegelijk in de bestelde ronde. Het personeel pakte de feedback goed op!

Afhaalmenu Foeyunghai Lotus voor 2 personen. Het was al weer een tijdje geleden dat we dit gehaald hadden. Voordeel van dit menu is dat je verschillende soorten vlees erbij hebt. Helaas viel het vlees tegen. Alles was te lang doorgebakken. Daardoor hard en droog. Ook erg weinig saus. Zeker niet genoeg voor 2 personen. Jammer, was vroeger altijd zo goed.

Heel fijn restaurant, we komen hier graag! We eten hier heel regelmatig sushi. Een zeer vriendelijke eigenaar en goed personeel. Je plaatst hier nog wel je bestelling met pen en papier i.p.v. met een tablet, maar dat is voor ons geen probleem.

This restaurant is a must-go for anyone visiting the area! What a delight! The staff was super friendly. More importantly the food was delicious. We had a large party and the variety of cuisines was great for everyone. The sushi was fresh, Chinese and Indonesia dishes were very tasty. I was able to find vegetarian dishes or request the dish to be vegetarian. I loved the variety. We plan to go back and try something new! Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

Heerlijk gegeten, de sfeer was gezellig en het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk! Van herhaling vatbaar. Het enige minpunt wat ik heb is dat je als toetje maar 1 bolletje ijs per persoon krijgt. En dat is voor deze toetjes monster veel te weinig.

De eigenaresse echt een vriendelijke dame, wel veel jong personeel die niet veel weet.

Ik was bij de afhaal. Op zich wel lekker eten alleen een stuk pittiger eten dan bij andere Chinezen. Wel heel snel klaar Rolstoel toegankelijk.

We had dinner à la carte end of januari and I am so sorry to write this but it was a dissapointment. I think we had bad luck as we went there during Chinese New year (limited resources/ chef on holiday?). However, The all-you-can- eat menu looked really good, other customers were enjoying their sushi, sashimi, etc. Still, I am not giving up on Lotus as this restaurant has given me many good memories. So, I will return to Lotus and try-out again their à la carte. @ Lotus, if you want to improve the menu, I am happy to share my constructive feedback.
