Staff did not wash their hands before making the food at the front when we went in at a quiet time during the day, do not recommend, they can only dispute this if they have video footage on the day to show otherwise, we can state the day and time so they can provide to Google but they will not have this as we saw what we saw and instead of owning up as customers should have hygiene as their top priority when eating food at a restaurant, this is the bare minimum to do before making the food.

I'm Japanese. Since I was on my 2024 spring tour and didn't have much time, I checked this restaurant beforehand and ordered nasi goreng (shrimp) and wonton soup. But both amounts are enough for 2 adults! Both the Thai rice and the soup in Nasi Goreng have no taste! That's 35 euros! 😭 1 euro 170 yen really makes me cry! In the Netherlands, you can never go wrong with Chinese food, but this is not the place to choose! The atmosphere and service are the worst I've ever eaten in Holland. Let's take out from the fast food or supermarket inside the station.

Been coming there for years (20 years) the food is very good and perfect

We regularly get food from De Gouden Kom and we are very satisfied with it. The people are always friendly and think along with you if you want something slightly different. As mentioned in a previous review, this restaurant is underrated and that is a shame because if you can eat delicious Chinese food somewhere, it is at the golden bowl.
