The food was excellent and we received some guidance on what to eat. It is a small cafe type restaurant but again no fault with the food

I got food poisoning here, I threw up so bad I cut my mouth with my own vomit. Congee was also okay-ish but it tasted like it had been sitting out for a while, maybe microwaved. Drinks also don’t have price tags attached so be prepared for a €6 extra charge added to your bill.

Found a piece of steel wool in my food. I showed it to the staff, but no refund or proper apology was offered.

So grateful for places like this. Peaceful atmosphere, authentic food, made with love. No gimmicks. Thanks for keeping it real❣️

Wow, I ate here with my friends. We all said, "If we miss Hong Kong, we'll eat here!" It was delicious, fresh, and quick. True Cantonese style.

Delicious food, great portions for fair prices. The pork noodle soup was hearty and hit the spot for the cold day. The moment you walk in you can smell youre going to get flavorful food.

Great bami, just looked a bit strange

Was sick during my visit to Amsterdam and was craving Cantonese comfort food. This place hits the spot! Has a massive and authentic menu, congee was awesome.

I was one time. Peking End. Bami. Bami was goed. But the End smell s not ok. I eat not first time in my live China food ore Peking End. Not for me.!

Don't go here. The food is really bad and way too expensive.

Simple eatery, I went to get takeaway, lady was not friendly. Not much food and there was little taste. White nasi with Beijing duck and pork for 18 euros. I don't recommend it and will never go there again. I had to choose something but I definitely don't recommend my dish.

OMG , I am telling you do not miss it here … it was one among the best places I have had Chinese food. I saw the place empty so I wasn’t sure if it’s going to be good or not … but that was the best decision I took in Amsterdam ….

Authentic quality Chinese food in the heart of Amsterdam! Just minutes away from the nearest metro station. Cozy restaurant with friendly staff. Wide variety of delicious food and drinks available. Would definitely return!

A hole in the wall restaurant with the only giveaway that it is a chinese restaurant inside is the calendar on the wall. BUT we arent here for the decor! The food arrives on the white , white and blue or orange melamine plates so reminiscent of a cha chan ting in hk. The congee doesnt disappoint and it is on point with some flavours you do not get anywhere else in EUROPE. We had the siew mai and the rice rolls with dried shrimp. Interestingly the dried shrimp was INSIDE the skin of the rolls and gave the whole thing an even aroma. This means they made it themselves beforehand and steamed it warm upon ordering. Worth a mention is the beef brisket . Lovely stuff. We had it with hor fun, but it was tasty nonetheless. About 90% of the clientele on a tuesday afternoon were cantonese speaking ladies with the odd dutch guy coming in to get a takeaway or a bowl . A real authentic slice of hk amsterdam. Menus are translated to dutch and english, with chinese wording in the menu folders. The descriptions do a good job of describing the food, but sometimes you need the chinese wording to know what you are really ordering. Great for a quick bite , exactly like a no frills yum cha place, but still sets you back about 45 for two people, so not a good value place.

Soups are fine, but second dishes are bit expensive and weird. Service is very nice

A very good meal, the cooking techniques are quite authentic and the taste is moderately salty. The crispy freshly roasted pork is refreshing, and the fillings of the barbecued pork buns are also quite delicious. Strictly speaking, the restaurant decoration lacks special features, the dining atmosphere is very ordinary, and the menu design is also a bit complicated and confusing. Overall, it is a restaurant that excels entirely in its cooking skills.

The food tastes good, but you pay a lot of money for small portions. Yesterday we picked up a number of dishes for about €100. The various dishes came in small containers and not properly filled. It is significantly less than other Chinese takeaways. The stated plastic surcharge of €0.50 per container is a very unfriendly price. Was asked to put 2x nasi in one container, but then you get less. I wouldn't recommend this for takeaway.

Delicious food, highly recommended. Found a new favorite place to eat after exercise. Much respect for these lovely people.

When I was little my dad had a dry cleaners here, he loved Asian food! Now it is the tastiest Chinese restaurant I know!! Delicious noodle soups, tasty Peking Dick, super tasty 'small' soups (the shark fin soup is highly recommended) Authentic Chinese dishes, no junk converted to Dutch taste!! Nasi Yuen chow, delicious, Peking duck, or cha sieuw! A 10!!

Great canton food, fresh and tasty

Happy to find an old school canto place in Amsterdam. The menu is limited but the ho fun is on point and the prices are good. There’s no ambiance or atmosphere here but I gave it 5 stars bc I’m nostalgic for hole in the wall type Chinese places.

It's an overall good enough place. The food is OK, nothing extraordinary. They are polite but interestingly, they didn't bring chopsticks, which I found weird or napkins, which I found a little cheap.

My goto place for all things Chinese. You’ll be hard pressed to find any Chinese place in Amsterdam for same value for money here. They seem to do everything pretty well and haven’t had a disappointing meal yet. I’ve had a few of those in Amsterdam. The lunch time dim sum seems popular with other folks but that’s one I haven’t tried. They get extra bonus points for serving tea properly like the Chinese do and not hot water + tea bag in a mug which annoys me to no end

Tasty chinese food but a bit expensive(12€ for chicken noodles) as compared to similar places like Asian Kitchen(9€ for chicken noodles) or Suriname restaurant. Fried chicken noodles are amazing and wonton soup with pork dumplings is also a must have.

Absolutely lovely Hong Kong style Chinese Restaurant in Amsterdam. Delicious Roast Pork with noodles, tasty stir friend greens and fantastic noodle soup. Highly recommend if you are looking for simple authentic Cantonese favorites.

The food is soooooo good🥰🥰🥰. Its a very small place near metro station De Pijp and then a 6 minute walk. My first time ever trying congee, though I think it would be better to eat it when feeling a bit sick😁 cause then you can feel the healing effect the best.

The best Cantonese restaurant in town! This restaurant is very authentic and a perfect taste of the Cantonese food. It is a family-run and has been in the Piip for more than three decades. It has all the typical dim sum, soup, fried rice noodle,.... for the Hong Kong style of food. Great food, but please don't ask your customers, " Is that all, will you add tip?" when they pay. That is extremely unprofessional and rude.

Nr 1 Chinees. Wij komen er al jaren tofu met garnalen, bief ketjap champignons, alles is lekker. Echt Chinees eten grootmoeders in de keuken. Bief met doperwten is ook lekker net als de zwarte bonen gerechten of rijstepap met beef en magi.

Het duurde even maar het eten was heerlijk.

Congee, dim sum and Hong Kong style fried noodles are all authentic taste!! Highly recommend for Hong Kong people who are missing home food! Their food taste even much better than those big dim sum restaurants in city centre.

價格實惠，菜單多元，港點好吃。 蘿蔔糕表面焦黃酥脆，一口咬下去可以感受到滿滿誠意，非常推薦。叉燒包內餡甜美且吃得到一小塊肉塊，與一般都是肉末的叉燒包不同。可惜的是，叉燒飯相較於港點稍嫌不足，米飯採用的是細長米，缺乏口感，且醬汁沒有起到加分的作用，優點是份量大與叉燒肉非常厚實且入味。另外，個人比較不喜歡沒有拍到照的大蝦腸粉，腸粉並非晶瑩剔透Q彈，吃下去糊糊的不知道在吃什麼。
