Wat een fijne verjaardagsavond hadden we bij Strandclub Horizon! Mooie locatie en sfeervol ingericht. Goed en lekker eten met een goede prijs/kwaliteitverhouding. Het culinaire hoogtepunt was het heerlijke en uitgebreide dessert dat we konden delen. En de bediening was goed en behulpzaam. Kortom: Strandclub Horizon is een echte aanrader en voor herhaling vatbaar!

We ate there as a couple. I did have my reservations after reading the reviews. But in my opinion, if your coffee or fries are cold or lukewarm, just report it. Then the staff can do something about it, rather than putting it on the internet. Everything we had was super tasty and the atmosphere was cozy. And a person complaining about her dog; it is an open kitchen, so it is quite something that dogs are allowed inside. And you should have brought your own bowl of water, and your dog can easily go without water for a while while you are out eating. It was quiet, but you have to know it's there, and then you will naturally go more often.

Ate here as a camping guest with more than 10 people; we had already been sitting for well over 15 minutes before they came to take our drink order.. after we had ordered food, it simply took at least 75 minutes for the food to arrive.. the food was tasty but very meager and small for that price, my girlfriend had a burger that came with fries, and I had spare ribs and had to order fries separately. Also sat on the terrace here twice to try and get something to drink. Ordered cocktails twice that contained no alcohol.. you couldn't taste anything, they seemed like mocktails; once we pointed that out, it took 15 minutes before the correct cocktails arrived. Ordered a cappuccino the second time, it only contained milk and no coffee. Just clearly experienced a staff shortage They also indicated to another customer that it was fully booked in terms of reservations, but the tables actually remained empty the entire evening... simply due to a staff shortage I won't be getting anything here again as a camping guest, I won't be going back to this overpriced campsite and service... last year was better

We had delicious mussels. Large and plentiful. The presentation also looked top-notch. The staff is very friendly and even makes time for a little chat.

Looks cozy, nice staff, but the food quality isn't very good. Deep-fried schnitzel, soggy fries.
