Strandclub Horizon in Wijk 13 Renesse

Wat een fijne verjaardagsavond hadden we bij Strandclub Horizon! Mooie locatie en sfeervol ingericht. Goed en lekker eten met een goede prijs/kwaliteitverhouding. Het culinaire hoogtepunt was het heerlijke en uitgebreide dessert dat we konden delen. En de bediening was goed en behulpzaam. Kortom: Strandclub Horizon is een echte aanrader en voor herhaling vatbaar!

Nur das Ambiente hat überzeugt.Hatten Cappuccino getrunken der leider ungenießbar war.Die Milch war schlecht!Haben daraufhin einen neuen bekommen der aber auch nicht gut war.Da gibt es bessere lokale am Strand in Renesse

Sehr schön gelegene Lokalität mit Blick auf die Nordsee. Sehr freundliche Bedienung und sehr zuvorkommend. Sehr gut und abwechslungsreiche Dinnerkarte.

Das Essen und der Beach-Club/Restaurant sind top!!! Es passte alles, bis auf der Wartezeit am Empfang. Trotz Online-Reservierung im Vorfeld und einer Reservierungsgebühr von 40,-€(!) dauerte es 25 Minuten bis wir an unserem Platz waren. Die Dame am Empfang war nett, machte aber für alle Reservierungen die Tische sauber und deckte diese neu ein. Das geht definitiv besser! Ansonsten ein großartiger Beach-Club!!!!

Hele leuke en gave strandtent. De inrichting en sfeer is heel goed. Daarnaast een leuke en gevarieerde kaart. De gerechten zijn top en ook keuze qua drankjes is erg fijn. Wat ik echt waardeer is dat de prijzen heel acceptabel zijn en zeker voor een strandtent. Dat is echt een plus. Daarnaast is het personeel vriendelijk en warm. Ik snap ook echt niet dat mensen in een review aangeven dat de prijs kwaliteit maar 1 ster is. Sowieso begrijp ik niet dat je een 1 ster als review kan geven voor deze tent. Ik kan begrijpen dat iets niet naar wens is geweest of niet helemaal aan de verwachting voldeed, maar om dan een 1 ster review te geven is kinderachtig en niet reëel. Daarnaast kun je er de ondernemers erg mee schaden. Dit was ons 2e bezoek met onze familie en zeker niet het laatste!

Ter ere van ons huwelijksjubileum hebben we gereserveerd bij deze beachclub. We moesten 60 euro voor de reservering als borg betalen. Buiten kon niet gereserveerd worden en de enige beschikbare tijd was Anderhalve week voor de datum om 14.30. Dan maar een late lunch, dit was geen probleem werdt er gezegd aam de telefoon We hebben twee keer contact gehad waarvan de tweede keer om te vragen of het ivm de hoge temperaturen echt niet buiten kon, dat ging niet ( alleen als het toevallig vrij zou zijn) maar op onze vraag of we een leuke tafel met uitzicht op het terras konden krijgen kregen we een ja. Aangekomen hadden we een tafel achterin een hoek vol met vliegen en twee smerige vliegenvangers.dl Dit is netjes opgelost door een andere tafel maar wel tot 17.00. We bestelden twee luxe planken, brood en nog een los gerechtje waarvij we aangaven hier mee te starten en later de rest te bestellen. Na 40 minuten kregen we het brood. Na 1 uur en 20 minuten volgde de planken. Deze waren leuk opgemaakt en het eten was zeker niet verkeerd. Tevens werden er tot twee keer toe pokebowls gebracht die we niet besteld hadden, dus we hebben gevraagd deze mee retour te nemen waarop we als antwoord kregen dat we ze echt hadden besteld.Onze zoon gaf aan alvast de andere gerechten te bestellen omdat i.v.m. de lange wachttijden we het anders niet voor 17 uur zouden redden. Het was op dat moment nog geen 16 uur. We kregen de mededeling dat er vanaf 16 uur allen beach bites besteld konden worden of de eerder bestelde pokebowls😬😬 We hebben aangegeven dat wij er niets aan konden doen dat het zo lang duurde en dat dit wel even gecommuniceerd had kunnen worden bij het bestellen maar ze hield voet bij stuk. De manager of iemand die de leiding had was niet aanwezig. Ze zei dat we wss de verkeerde aan de telefoon gehad anders was er wel een notitie gemaakt en had het geen probleem geweest. Toen kwam de oplossing, we mochten wel een bakje friet bestellen. Wij hadden ons verheugd op een lekkere uitgebreide lunch met onze kinderen en schoonkinderen tere ere van ons jubileum. Er was geen sorry, geen oplossing en geen stukje empathie. We hebben nog aangeven dat zij er niets aan kan doen maar dat het wel verstandig is dit te communiceren met het management omdat het absoluut niet klantvriendelijk is en toen kregen we als antwoord dat ze het jammer vond dat we haar hier op aanspraken. Bij de rekening stonden zoals te verwachten de pokebowls. Deze zijn er afgehaald. Mijn man heeft meer dan 30 jaar ervaring in de horeca dus we zijn geen mensen die niet snappen hoe het in de horeca werkt maar dit is echt niet klantvriendelijk en getuigt van een zeer slecht management en communicatie. Al met al 215 euro armer en een zeer slechte ervaring.

Ich wollte vor Ort für 6 Personen einen Tisch reservieren was aber nicht ging. Nur online und dann auch nur mit eingeschränkten Bezahlmöglichkeiten. Nur Kreditkarte, Googlepay und iDEAL. Wenn man keine dieser 3 hat, kann man auch nicht reservieren. Kein Paypal keine Barzahlung, normale Sparkassen karte usw. Die freundliche Dame am Empfang wollte ja noch was drehen, aber wohl die Chefin hat das kategorisch abgelehnt. Mega unflexibel. Gut das es noch viele andere Möglichkeiten rund um Renesse gibt

Absolut nicht zu empfehlen! Nachdem wir eine Mitarbeiterin gefragt hatten, ob der Tisch frei ist und bereits unsere Getränkebestellung aufgenommen wurde, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass sie leider voll ausgebucht wären und wir ohne eine Reservierung nicht dort essen könnten bzw. nur draußen (sehr windig und kalt). Das hat offensichtlich nicht gestimmt, denn direkt nach dem Verlassen habe ich einen kurzen Blick auf die Website geworfen und hätte noch problemlos einen Tisch reservieren können. Wirklich schade, wie hier mit einem umgegangen wird...

We hadden voorafgaand gereserveerd in deze hippe strandclub en dat is door de drukte een absolute must als je in een een leuke hoek wil lunchen met enkele vrienden. We werden hartelijk onthaald door de charmante gastvrouw die ons onmiddellijk naar onze tafel begeleidde en onze wensen qua aperitief opnam. We kozen voor de Kustwachter, hun eigen huis gin met tonic. We kregen een trendy menukaart en kozen gezien het warme weer voor een assortiment sushi Uramaki van de chef en die waren niet alleen super lekker, maar ook geweldig gepresenteerd & vergezeld van wasabi, gember en soya sausjes. De verrassende aankleding en de attente & vriendelijke bediening vervolmaakten onze geslaagde middag en vandaar kunnen wij met heel veel genoegen deze eigentijdse eetgelegenheid warm aanbevelen als je in de buurt bent en wij keren hier met zekerheid terug!

Es wurde mal wieder vergessen die vorab entrichtete Reservierungsgebühr von 10 Euro pro Person bei der Abrechnung zu berucksichtigen. Dieses passierte zum wiederholtem Mal. Wir hatten reserviert. Dieses gilt selbstverständlich nur für den Innenbereich. Das ist soweit ja auch verständlich. Wenn dann jedoch bei Erscheinen Plätze im Außenbereich frei sind und diese dann an Gäste vergeben werden die ohne Reservierung erschienen, ist dieses für mich unverständlich. Daher lediglich eingeschränkte Empfehlung. Das Essen war soweit o.k. .

Mooie strandtent en prima eten maar wat in de recensies eerder wordt geschreven als lange wachttijden dat klopt wel. Het personeel moet ergens de peper nog vinden en het samenspel met elkaar. Aanrader bavet voor 2 personen was genieten

Vol verwachting zijn we 28e hiernaar toe gegaan. Het was een verjaardagskado en we keken er al ruime tijd naar uit. Bij de reservering gevraagd om een tafeltje bij het raam en aangegeven dat het om een verjaardag ging. We waren netjes op tijd 19:00. Maar geen tafeltje bij het raam. Na wat aandringen toch een gekregen. Het vreemde was dat er niemand kwam om wat op te nemen en je kon zien dat diverse tafels zaten te wachten op hun bestelling. Na 30 min wachten maar gevraagd of we wat konden bestellen. En eindelijk kwam er iemand. Toen we vroegen of we op tijd eten kregen was het antwoord nee. Wachttijd was 20 min voor voorgerecht en daarna minstens 30 min hoofdgerecht en liep ze weg. (Het was inmiddels 1930) Zonder drankje zaten we daar weer. De andere tafels waren ook nog steeds aan het wachten. Chaos, de organisatie klopt van geen meter. Er liepen maar twee personen op te nemen en er werd bijna niks uitgeserveerd. Inmiddels kwamen er toch weer nieuwe gasten binnen. De bediening liep over en van ellende zijn we weggegaan. Dat maakte jullie blijkbaar niks uit. We vonden nog een plekje en hebben daar heerlijk gegeten en voelden ons daar gast. De dag erna verhaal gehaald om de aanbetaling terug te krijgen. Dat werd wel geregeld. Ze was een van de opnemers van gister, maar keek me glazig aan toen ik vertelde van de chaos de dag ervoor. Ook bood ze niks aan om het goed te maken. Blijkbaar zitten ze op het snelle geld van de eenmalige duitse toeristen, want de desinteresse druipt ervan af. Tip: ga er niet heen en kies een plek waar je goed bediend en als gast gewaardeerd wordt.

Waren heute im Strandclub Horizont Mittagessen . Wir bestellten je zwei Pfannkuchen mit Käse,Speck oder Schinken belegt ist für 9,50€ . Da wir uns für alle drei Zutaten entschieden,verdoppelte sich der Preis ,sodass wir anstatt 19.00€ für zwei Personen 36.00€ berechnet bekamen . Laut Bedienung und Restaurantleiter , wäre das so korrekt. Wir finden dies mehr als unverschämt reine Abzocke .NIE wieder !!!!!! Wir werden Horizont nicht weiter empfehlen oder einmal dort essen . In unserem Ferienhaus werden wir die Visitenkarten von Horizont entfernen .

Personeel kon reservering niet vinden, ook aanbetaling van € 40 niet, later aangetoond via mijn telefoon. Cheffin gaf lunch kaart waarin we onze bestelling niet konden vinden later kregen we dan de dinerkaart. Geresrveerde 5 persoons tafel bij de openhaard later weggegeven aan 2 personen. Hoge tafel ver van de openhaard ( die niet brandde) aangeboden maar ivm persoonlijke problemen niet door ons geaccepteerd. Drankje vooraf kwam alleen met water, de rest moest opnieuw besteld worden en kwam veel later. De toegezegde versiering van de 60 jarige bleef uit. Dame blance met afgezakt slagroom en soeplepel. Dit was de 60 jarige verjaardag van onze vrienden waar zo naar uitgekeken was met doorgestuurd foto's etc. De vooruitbetaalde €40 niet van de door onze vrienden betaalde rekening in korting gebracht, dus staat nog uit. In 1 woord waardeloos ook de "cheffin" die voor de problemen wegliep

Heerlijke stevige romige latte machiato en cappuccino. Vriendelijk personeel, mooi uitzicht, hond mag mee naar binnen. Goede lunch kaart!

We bezochten dit restaurant op het strand vanwege de goede oprit voor een scootmobiel. Het is mooi ingericht en de bediening is vriendelijk. Verschillende opties om te eten. Shared dining of ieder voor zich. Het eten is prima en wordt mooi geserveerd. Er mist wat alertheid in de bediening en uitleg bij het afrekenen. Bij reserveren moet je €10,- pp betalen, heel begrijpelijk in deze tijd, en bij het afrekenen gaat dat weer van de rekening af, maar zonder uitleg. Dat kan beter.

Als je glutenvrij moet eten , ga hier dan niet heen. De allergenen kaart komt totaal niet overeen met de menukaart. Op de menukaart kan bijna niets glutenvrij én zeer slecht geholpen door de bediening. Echt waardeloos

Wij hebben inmiddels alle speciale evenementen bijgewoond, zo ook gisteren met Oudjaar. Het eten was weer meer dan goed en het jaar is fantastisch uitgeluid. Vuurwerk, bubbels en oliebollen als extraatjes van de zaak, na weer een geel gezellige avond. Hier snappen ze het begrip GASTVRIJHEID!

Wir waren zum Abendessen hier und wurden sehr positiv überrascht. Die Speisekarte ist ausgewogen und vielseitig. Ein sehr niveauvolles Restaurant mit gutem Service.

Een aanwinst voor Schouwen Duiveland, zeer gastvrij ontvangst, wij zijn er nu drie keer geweest voor lunch en diner, samen met onze puppy, en zeker niet laatste keer. Heerlijke sushi, damhert en entrecote. Wij voelden ons echt welkom zeer aardige gastvrouw.

Very tasty food in a great atmosphere.

Every right-thinking person now knows that it is much easier to write a negative review than to give a restaurant constructive criticism and it surprises me that some experiences are written so sourly, while there is not even vinegar on the drinks menu! The sourest thing I can remember is the pickled ginger: which is not even sour, but is an absolute plus with the enormous variety of sushi, maki and sashimi served here. Rolled a la minute and so crispy fresh that you will lick your fingers. The bavette and burger that we ordered as a main course also arrived perfectly cooked. If we had to come up with a critical point, it might be that the cheeses could be explained at the table, but because of the pleasant atmosphere it did not bother us. Thanks to the delicious cuisine and the great service: our third visit, now outside the high season, but again a visit with a wonderful experience. It's nice that a 'beach bar' can also be a restaurant.

Ieder weldenkend mens weet inmiddels dat het veel makkelijker is een negatieve review te schrijven dan een restaurant opbouwende kritiek te geven en het verbaast me dan ook nu weer dat sommige ervaringen zo zuur zijn geschreven, terwijl er niet eens azijn op de drankenkaart staat! Het zuurste wat ik me kan herinneren is de ingelegde gember: dat niet eens zuur is, maar wel een absolute pre bij de enorme variatie aan sushi, maki en sashimi dat hier geserveerd wordt. A la minute gerold en zo knisperend vers dat je je vingers er van aflikt. Ook de bavette en burger die we als hoofdgerecht bestelden kwamen perfect gebakken op tafel. Als we dan toch een kritisch puntje moeten verzinnen is het misschien dat de kazen toegelicht kunnen worden aan tafel, maar door de prettige sfeer hebben we er ons niet aan gestoord. Dank aan de heerlijke keuken en de fijne bediening: ons derde bezoek, nu buiten het hoogseizoen, maar wederom een bezoek met een heerlijke ervaring. Fijn dat je een ‘strandtent’ ook een restaurant kan zijn.

Een aanwinst voor ons mooie eiland Schouwen-Duiveland! Een heerlijke avond gehad met mooie, en verse gerechten. Grote porties maar allemaal heel smaakvol. Het zat goed vol, maar de bediening was vlot en correct. Niets op aan te merken! We hebben heel veel slechte reviews gehoord en gelezen, maar ze hebben zich na een moeilijke start helemaal teruggeknokt. Goed gedaan en ga vooral zo door! Wij komen graag terug in de mooi ingerichte strandclub.

Nice modern place. Easily accessible, parking space a 5-minute walk away. Cute, Japanese inspired card. Also good food. There were no desserts on the lunch menu, which we were hungry for as the portions were small. Poffertjes were there. Fifteen minutes after coffee they finally arrived. I can't say whether they were freshly baked or from the microwave, but no butter with them. Essential for poffertjes, right? Sorry, said the lady and brought us two dollops of a greasy margarine substance. Is there really no way to cut off a piece of butter? Bit of a letdown.

Very nice location. I was there in November. We returned there after the rain. Super cozy with the fireplace and the furs on the chairs. We were also happy with the kibbeling.

A big thumbs up for this beautiful tent. We have eaten here three times now and keep coming back for the great sushi. Today, due to circumstances, we had to wait a very long time for the food, and at checkout the owner said that they had only charged for the sushi as compensation. So not the starters, bottle of wine, etc. We thought that was very neat!! We recommend everyone to eat here. And yes, when it is busy it can sometimes take a little longer, as in any beach bar, but the nice atmosphere, friendly service and delicious food makes up for that very quickly. We are fans and will be back soon!

Een mooi plek op het strand. Zeer leuke inrichting, maar het was helaas wel fris binnen. Veel mensen bleven zitten met de jas aan. Mocht een stukje warmer. Eten was lekker.

We had dinner here in November 2024. It was very tasty and fresh. The starter of chicken skewers could have been fried a little further, but otherwise tasted great. The desserts were also all fresh and made by the chef. Worth repeating. Lots of choice on the menu.

Phenomenal view. You have to be a little patient because we had to wait an hour for our lunch. But the location and atmosphere are great, the taste is good and the service is friendly.

We wanted to try out this new tent. First time and a very bad experience. Starting upon arrival. I was told there is no room inside. But we saw many free places. Okay then sit outside. We could not order tea when ordering because they did not have clean glasses. We could order hot chocolate or mulled wine, which was also in the same glass. Foreign. We also ordered bread with burrata. Laughing...Never here again.

It was not possible to reserve a table on site... and only by credit card, no Apple Pay or Paypal, so it was not possible to reserve a table on site... the €20 reservation could not be booked at the checkout on site, so no reservation was possible... what Should that be... the staff at the checkout was very unfriendly, sorry then not

We had a delicious lunch today at Strandclub Horizon. What a beautiful location on the beach. The food was very tasty (we ate a shared pizza with salmon and burrata) and the children had poffertjes and a pancake. The salmon was really tasty. The atmosphere is very nice and it all looks modern and new. The children had a great time playing in the play corner. We didn't have to wait long for our drinks and food. There were a lot of staff walking around.

Had to wait a long time for the children's menu and then the service was very poor. The food was slammed on our table so much that the fork fell to the floor. There was no apology and no new fork. I wouldn't go to this place again.

Very nicely decorated restaurant. We went here for dinner. The food was really great, we had a sushi plank as a starter with the table, then bavete as a main course and for desserts different types of cake and ice cream. We were helped very friendly by the waiter, but due to the crowds, something was sometimes forgotten or something went wrong. We received this later with an excuse, but it was actually too busy for the staff.

We have been guests at the Horizon beach café for many years and have come to terms with every change. Unfortunately, we have had some unpleasant experiences since reopening. We are aware that when there is a high volume of guests, the service can take longer, but we cannot understand why the people who assign tables and take orders are so unfriendly, reserved, disrespectful and ignorant towards some guests. Despite direct eye contact, you will be ignored! Why? After all, you just want to have a good time here and in principle you are prepared to spend a comparatively higher budget (beach surcharge) for it. In the past, the focus was on people and not on commerce! The personal component, the charm of the familiar and the improvised, has been completely lost. It's a shame ☹️

Karte um 15:40 Uhr erhalten mit dem Hinweis, das Bestellungen von der großen Karte nur bis 16 Uhr möglich sind. Von da an wurde ich bis 16 Uhr vom Service ignoriert und bin dann ohne Essen gegangen. Leider unterirdisch.

The atmosphere is really very nice, everything is very tastefully decorated! This is what the beach club lives from. Everything else, well… The Gin Tomics were quite tasty We ordered starters and main courses as well as appetizers. The appetizer arrived quicker than the drinks :-/ Carpaccio was tasty, but unfortunately the rolls were not at all. The dip was ok. So you can do without that. As quickly as the starters arrived, the main course took just as long. After 45 minutes we called the waitress and asked, who then went into the kitchen and came back and said our food was already being prepared. Fifteen minutes later our three fillet steaks arrived. I daresay our food was simply forgotten. The steaks weren't great, but they were tasty. . After dinner our plates simply weren't cleared away. We actually wanted to order dessert and coffee. After our empty plates were still on the table 20 minutes after eating, we decided to pay and leave. First I went to the toilet again, open concept, women and men mixed, I think that's fine so far. What is not possible, however, is that the waitress (male) goes straight back to the service after urinating without stopping at the sink. The waitresses walk around with a permanent smile and are overly nice, but unfortunately they don't know how to do their job. And even the nice atmosphere doesn't help. Since there are enough alternatives, we probably won't be dining at Horizon again.

Super cool beach club, but actually it's a great outdoor bar and a super fine restaurant at the same time. Based on the reviews, we went out to eat there with mixed feelings and were really impressed. Super tasty food, no exorbitant prices. Great service, a total recommendation from us and we will definitely be back, even if we just come back for the food. Beach view top

We had dinner here for my birthday and were warmly welcomed and could sit outside or inside. We opted for indoors and found the decor beautiful. We really enjoyed the food and the service, we were well advised and will definitely come back.

I made a reservation for 5 adults, 2 small children (requesting high chairs) and stating that we had 2 large dogs with us. We were dumped at a table for 4, where upon our arrival a 5th chair and 2 highchairs were crammed into the corner of the table. We then left again.

Who needs such loud music on the North Sea beach? A reason for us not to go there.

Na 30 min kregen we de kaart maar werd er niet gevraagd om een drankje dus zaten we nog steeds zonder drinken na een half uur, uiteindelijk na hele lange tijd werd er iets opgenomen en kregen we ook nog eens koud eten. Het nagerecht was voor 2 personen thee en 1 paflova. deze kwam na vragen toen de thee al op was. bij het afrekenen was er 2 flessen wijn inplaats van 1 gerekend, deze fles zou teruggestort worden op de rekening van de reservering na 2 x bellen en 2 weken later nog steeds niks ontvangen……. Ook totaal geen compensatie of iets voor het ongemak. Voor ons was het geen aanrader!

The best thing first was the ambience was really very nice, everything was very warm and exceptionally tastefully decorated! After more than 10 minutes, we asked if we could perhaps be served... There wasn't much going on, maybe 30% of the store was full and the waitress was just standing around, we weren't being noticed at all, even though we were constantly making eye contact. Drinks came very quickly and were reasonably priced. We ordered two burgers that looked good, unfortunately the pettis were cold, the bacon was rock hard, very greasy and watery! Unfortunately they couldn't get one without an onion. Both dishes were without onions. During our meal, the tables around us were already being covered. The fireplace was turned off, which meant the cozy was over... something like that doesn't work when there are still guests sitting around eating, it wasn't even 8 p.m. yet! . Unfortunately, what was put into the ambience is canceled out by the chef and the incompetent waiters and the very poor quality of the meat. The old Horizon was better Won't be coming back

We know your previous occasion. Just a cozy beach tent. Were curious about this new beautiful building. Very cozy furnishings. Large windows provide beautiful views. Delicious food. Neatly cared for. Friendly employees. A point of attention may be the long sloping entrance. Also highly recommended!!!

Super nice restaurant, nice service, the kitchen is excellent. And the prices are great.

We had burgers and fries as a side. Burgers were ok. Unfortunately, we are probably the last guests and have received fried hard fries several times. We were just told the kitchen wouldn't do anything more. When paying, it was mentioned again, unfortunately without any response. Everything must be looked at immediately and, if necessary, objected to immediately. Otherwise you'll just be annoyed. Ambiance and location very nice. Very nice, stylish location. Friendly waiters who try hard to look after their guests. We all enjoyed the food (6 people), but it wasn't spectacular either. The prices are, typical for Holland, not exactly cheap.

The appearance of this beach bar is fantastic, but the service let us down a few weeks ago. The young man (owner? It seemed) with glasses – somewhat inexperienced in hospitality, to put it mildly – ​​was openly talking about guests. Not really the level of professionalism you expect. We then waited for a drink for more than 45 minutes without any explanation or apology. Apparently it was an achievement in itself that we were served at all, given the attitude. Another tip: if it's such a problem that guests come to the terrace via the stairs from the beach, maybe just close the stairs instead of looking irritated and sending them away as if you caught them in a crime? For a moment I thought I had set off an alarm. In short, if hospitality is not your thing, don't start a catering business. The interior and location may be fine, but service? They can still learn a lot from this.

The atmosphere was very nice, but unfortunately that was all. There were six of us and no one was happy with the service or the food. Even the children weren't fed. The criticism was simply ignored. Too bad.

We eat there regularly and always leave a lot of money there. We ate there today with the family and everyone got their food but mine was forgotten and 1 hour later it still wasn't delivered. Very poor performance for the fact that we spend around €500 there a month. It's a shame we still had to pay in full? I am an entrepreneur myself and would have preferred a different approach.

Wir haben den sehr schönen, modern eingerichteten Pavillon besucht. Leider konnten wir keine Vorspeise essen. Die Zutaten waren nicht vorhanden. Die Bowl mit Lachs war aber sehr gut. Es war ziemlich voll und so war der Service ein bisschen überfordert. Das Ambiente ist aber Mega. Sehr stylisch. Auf asiatisch getrimmt. Auch die Küche, neben den klassischen holländischen Spezialitäten.

Very friendly and attentive staff. At least on the inside. Ordering was very quick and we were repeatedly asked if we could have anything else. Prices like everywhere else. We can only recommend it and thank you for the nice hospitality.

Very nice beach restaurant with delicious food. Price performance ok. Nice waiters who stop by the table to bring new drinks or ask what you want. I'll be back.

This is by far my favorite beach bar!

Beautiful location but that's about all. Not received kindly upon entry. After 15 minutes a drink and food were included. We waited more than 45 minutes for three cold lunch dishes and more than 20 minutes for drinks. After saying something, the waitress was downright rude. It was busy (in our opinion that wasn't too bad) so we just had to be patient, she snapped. No organization or structure in the service at all. After all the waiting, the right thing was not served and our patience had run out. A great shame, we cannot recommend it to friends. And next time we will walk to a beach bar again.

Prachtige locatie maar daar is dan alles mee gezegd. Bij binnenkomst niet vriendelijk ontvangen. Na 15 minuten werd er een drankje en eten opgenomen. Voor drie koude lunch gerechten hebben we ruim 45 minuten gewacht en voor drinken ruim 20 minuten. Na er wat van gezegd te hebben reageerde de serveerster ronduit onbeleefd. Het was druk (naar onze mening viel dat nog wel mee) dus we moesten maar geduld hebben snauwde ze. Totaal geen organisatie of structuur in de bediening. Na al het wachten werd er ook niet het juiste uitgeserveerd en was ons geduld wel op. Super zonde, voor ons geen aanbeveling aan vrienden. En zullen de volgende keer weer een strandtentje verder lopen.

Personal is quite rude, if you try to come in with a bigger group- you are not allowed to get some seats together. cant recommend. Especially as the personal was making jokes about my group without minding me still standing behind them. Dammit it sucks being dumb and stupid ;) Dankjuwell noone will come back

Dieser Strandclub hat sich für uns erledigt. Bei unserer Reservierung mit 8 Personen war eine Reservierungsgebühr von 80 Euro vorab fällig. Nach sage und schreibe 3 Wochen mit vielem Schriftverkehr und persönlichen Aufforderungen wurde die Reservierungsgebühr erst zurück erstattet. Man hat einfach behauptet , wir wären nicht erschienen. So etwas geht garnicht.

My friend and I were in Rennesse at the beginning of September and stumbled across the Horizon beach club. The ambience was very nice and the food was top. There are small things for lunch through to larger meals in the evening. A lot of it has an Asian touch. The staff is very friendly, we were even recognized on the second day. So we spent a total of three days here.

An impressive, modern, but still super nice and cozy restaurant right on the beach. We sat and ate inside and were always served straight away. The ambience conveys a pure holiday feeling and the food was delicious. Clear recommendation!

Nice beach pavilion with nice service

The good first: Friendly service and great ambience. Were there today and wanted to order food at 4:30 p.m. Unfortunately it wasn't possible... food can only be ordered again from 5:00 p.m.! Too bad, why? When I was asked whether I could order immediately and have it "delivered" from 5 p.m., I was met with an uncomprehending shake of the head. So far, so bad! This led to over 100 people ordering their food from 5 p.m.... Which took us over 40 minutes. Then came the fried swordfish for €27, a mini portion, with 2-3 pieces. fried vegetables... and nothing else. See photo. Plates were not preheated, which resulted in the food being served tepid. And after 5 minutes it was cold. At the next table, two guests took the seat cushions and placed them on the floor for their two dogs, who then sat down on them. The waiter said nothing about it! It's a shame for the next guests who will mess up their clothes with dog hair, feces and sand... Nothing against dogs, but something like that is a no-go!

We visited this beach club on a bike tour. The beautiful ambience with a view of the sea invites you to take a break. We were served immediately on the terrace. Everything went smoothly.

There were four of us. It wasn't full. We waited half an hour for the four coffees and only got them when we asked. The cake we ordered only came after we asked several times after we had finished the coffee. An hour to serve 3 pieces of apple pie (which was really delicious) has nothing to do with service. We were definitely here for the last time today. The fact that it was not possible to separate the bill for two couples was no longer important. Not recommended!

A few days ago we visited Horizon for dinner. We really enjoyed the service, the food and the ambience and were completely satisfied with it and recommend a visit. We have already made another reservation. BUT - what we find very unpleasant is the large number of dogs, especially when their owners put them on the chairs/sofa and feed them with cutlery from the table or give them something to drink from glasses. In our opinion, this should be urgently stopped or perhaps there should be a spatial separation between visitors with and without dogs!

We ate here, the food was reasonable, but you shouldn't be a big eater You had your card upon arrival at 4:15 PM, but you have to wait until 5:00 PM before you can order... Minus point
